“Adam walks my rambunctious golden doodle during the week and we’re so fortunate to have his help! He’s organized, professional, and takes great care of Honey. We know she’s in good hands and he makes sure she gets all the exercise she needs. Highly recommend his services!”

“Dmitra is the best!!! She walks our goldendoodle Griffin twice a week and is really amazing with him! Because of our schedules I usually have to tell her only a day or two in advance which days we need her help each week and she’s always really flexible and great about it! We also have cats that like to try to sneak out of the house, and she’s great about keeping an eye on them to make sure they stay in while she takes Griffin out for his walks. So glad we found her!!!”

“Maison was great with Nola, she welcomed her and took on our hyper active pup. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Alexandra is great! She has been my twice weekly dog walker for about a month now. She communicates extremely well and is very reliable. She leaves detailed info on how the walk went with my dog, which I appreciate. She has gone out of her way to accommodate Ada, who can at times be shy with new people. Would recommend!”

“Shannon has been walking my pup for two weeks now and has been wonderful! The weather has been freezing and snowy and yet she has always showed up on time and has established a great relationship with my dog. She does a super job knowing when it’s too cold (or my dog just isn’t in the mood) to go for an extended walk and will just play with him inside a bit longer instead. Highly recommended!”

“Jordan is an exemplary dog walker in every sense. She is trustworthy, compassionate, and an excellent communicator. Our dog, Gravy, always leaves their walks happy and well exercised. We feel extremely lucky to have Jordan as a weekly walker and would strongly recommend her to anyone!”

About: TLDR: I am cat-obsessed and will take good care of your babies! I am located in Central Lawrenceville and work from home. I am a cat-mom to Galax (9) and Zuzu (5) and have cared for many cats and dogs through Rover over the past two years. I also have experience watching friends dogs and cats over the past 9 years, and worked at a doggy day care for a short time where I helped care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and abilities. Now, I work from home which gives my cats and I time to bond and play. I am also able to notice any slight change in behavior, which is crucial to being a cat owner as most cats hide sickness very well. I look forward to giving your babies attention and caring for them while you're away and fully understand that it can be nerve-wracking to leave them. Ultimately, it's my goal to understand your pets boundaries and provide the best care possible given their needs. As long as I have enough prep time and clear instructions, I can commit to visiting your animal up to two times a day or as needed. I am particular with who cares for my cats when I am out of town, and expect the people who I will Rover for to be the same way. I always walk the caretakers through detailed instructions of how the cats should be cared for and emphasize that they need much more than just someone to feed them. I also understand that every animal is different and it’s important to respect their boundaries.

About: I've taken care of dogs (either my own or pet-sitting) for the past 15 years. I have had many friends and family members rely on me to keep their pets fed, walked, played with, and loved while they are out! I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication etc. My work schedule is fairly flexible, so it's super easy for me to fit pet care into my daily/weekly routines! I keep my home clean and safe for pups to venture around. I will send lots of pictures so you know your pet is happy and well taken care of. I have a fairly flexible full time job where I am able to work from home as needed. Additionally, when I need to be in person it is usually only for a few hours maximum. So I have plenty of time to be playing with and caring for your pups! I live in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of great spots for fur babies to use the bathroom and get their exercise in! I spend a lot of time after initial drop off trying to make your pet as comfortable and relaxed as possible! I'll also send you lots of pictures to alleviate some of the stress of leaving your pup with someone else. I spend a lot of time giving the pets I care for the same love and attention they would receive at home.

“Nick stopped by to meet me and our dog and he demonstrated instant rapport and skill with Dublin, our doodle. He showed up on time, he took Dub for a healthy walk and took the time to check in ahead because it was raining that day. We will consider Nick fir our future needs.”

“J.M. was great with my dog Grits. They came on time, gave a thorough report, and sent some cute proof of life pictures that brightened up my day at work. Thank you J.M.!”

“Savanna is trustworthy and detail oriented. I will book her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs for most of my life. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me with their animals. I’m especially good with nervous and shy cats! I have a flexible schedule and can generally fit your pet care needs into my day. I am open to up to 3 visits per day. I am available to drop in for mealtime, litter box cleaning, walks, pets and cuddles, and playtime. I will always do my best to ensure your pets feel safe and cared for in your absence. I am open to administering medication dependent on the animal’s personality. I have a senior kitty with medical needs so this is all in my wheelhouse.

“Riley is always super helpful and flexible when caring for my dog!”

“Hannah was amazing with Harper. Harper has extreme anxiety, and Hannah calmed her fears as well as mine. We were extremely satisfied with her dog walking services, and would use her again. We would also recommend her to any one that needs dog walking services. -Kim, Barb, & Harper”

About: Having grown up surrounded by cats and dogs, and as a proud owner of a loving ginger tabby named Zuko, I understand the special bond between pets and their humans. I treat every animal in my care just as I do my own—with love, compassion, and the kindness they truly deserve. I pay close attention to detail and always follow your specific care instructions to ensure your pet’s routine is respected. Your pets will receive personalized attention, gentle care, and plenty of affection to keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm presence, I’m committed to making sure your furry family members feel safe and cherished. I’m currently working under an internship at the University of Pittsburgh from 9am-1pm, Monday-Friday. I’m available anytime outside of these hours and all day Saturday and Sunday. Growing up, I was accustomed to walking, feeding, and caring for our two dogs. Last year, I rescued a newborn tabby who required extensive care and dedication, including frequent meals around the clock, careful defleaing, and highly attentive monitoring to ensure her health and comfort. This experience deepened my understanding of the special needs some pets require and strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, hands-on care.

About: I love spending time with and taking care of pets, including dogs, cats, and bearded dragons! I’m attentive to their needs and strive to help them feel comfortable in whatever environment they’re in. I understand how important pets can be to their owners, and I aim to be communicative about their behavior and any highlights of the day. I’m currently unemployed, so I have a lot of free time and am available to provide care weekdays and weekends! Right now, I don’t have a limitation on the number of hours or days that I’m available. When caring for pets in their homes, I’m aware that I am an unfamiliar person in what is a familiar environment to them. I exercise patience as I try to build trust, help them feel comfortable, and respect their space.

About: I've primarily cared for friends' dogs, and my partner and I currently have a toy poodle puppy and a (hyperactive) Silky Terrier. Former corgi owner as well. Great with over-excited dogs and will baby the heck out of them during our time together. Reach out about large dogs as can certainly handle well-behaved ones. Based in Lawrenceville. I'm a freelance film worker and decided to take this on to fill in my down days. I'm obsessed with dogs and essentially treat them like my children. I can usually take on jobs with minimal notice because of this. As someone who is paranoid about his own dogs' safety, I take this very seriously. I'm extremely cautious about leash and harness checks, and am hyper-aware of your dog when I'm with them.

“Couldn’t be happier with the experience of having Hannah walk our dog. Hannah was a great communicator throughout and showed an intent to get to know our dog. She took pictures and sent updates along the way, which I appreciated. I felt peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands.”

So glad he's on Rover now—your pets will be in great hands!”

16. Julia L.
“Julia is one of the most trustworthy and loving people I know—both as a friend and a pet caregiver. We’ve worked together for years, and I’ve had the absolute peace of mind leaving both of my pets, Angel (our dog) and Skizzy (our bearded dragon), in her care.
