About: When I was 5, my first ever chore was feeding the dog because my parents knew it was what I cared about most. That hasn’t changed. I’ve had animals of some sort my entire life and currently have two larger dogs. I’ve used Rover as a pet owner since moving to Pittsburgh and can fully attest to how helpful it has been, which is why I decided to become a sitter I’ve sat for animals with needs for oral and topical medicines and am comfortable handling that. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I only need a day’s notice to plan transportation. For house sitting, I’m happy to work from that home as well. I’m comfortable with whatever your pet is used to. Fenced yards, leashed walks, and litter boxes are all fine by me. I’m also happy to help reinforce training and routine if needed.

About: I’ve always been a dog lover and both me and brother rescued Labrador early prior to the covid year. We love him so much and since I moved countries he now lives with my parents in India. I wear a paw on my necklace which is a memory that he is not far away and will always take care of my parents behind me. Zorro now sits on the dinner table and enjoys all family meals. Your pet is allowed on our sofa and enjoy the area of a one bedroom. If I am at your home, I will aim to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress free as possible while the owner is way by keeping a normal routine in their own home environment. I will carefully follow your instructions and communication is very important to me, so I can provide regular updates , photos and check-in to help the owner feel reassured. Keri was wonderful! It was my first time leaving my puppy for the whole day and so I was a little nervous about how she’d do but Keri sent updates and adorable pictures that put me at ease. I also appreciated her attentiveness when we were going over all of the details she’d need to know for the day.
Kathryn did such a wonderful job house sitting with our dog and cats! She actively communicated throughout the time we were away, and her regular updates and pics let us know the pets were getting great care. Her attention to detail and ability to problem solve were very much appreciated as well. Kathryn expertly handled giving meds, and she let us know whenever anything seemed off. Most of all, the pets adore her! When we arrived home, the house looked great and the pets were as happy as ever. Overall, Kathryn is a total pro, and we will defintely rebook for future pet needs!
Elise did a great job caring for our cat, Sujuk, while we were out of town! We received twice a day updates with photos, which made us feel at ease and confident that Sujuk was in good hands. When we arrived home, the house was well-cared for and Sujuk was in good spirits. We would definitely hire Elise again in the future!
Tony was exceptional! It was so obvious that he spent time loving on our pets, not just tending to them. He sent tons of updates and excellent pictures while he was here and helped us feel so confident in their wellbeing. He left our home better than we left it and I am so looking forward to working with him again. Thanks Tony!
Rebecca went above and beyond to keep our dog happy, fed, comfortable, and safe at our home during a long two week trip. She kept him so busy and moving so much- I think he lost weight! She did constant walks, took him to her home, and hung around the house to keep him company. While we were gone, there was a very dangerous heat wave, but she kept him safe and cool. Honestly, I think he was so busy and excited by her love, he didn't notice we were gone. He was the happiest and the healthiest he has EVER been following a family trip. He had gotten too old and grumpy to survive other types of care. Rebecca was a smooth and easy transition from Doggie DayCare to Doggie-at-home care. She communicates constantly and effectively, keeping us up to date, and is also willing to take the lead, when we are off the grid. I highly recommend her. Benny was lucky to have such great care.
Autumn did an awesome job staying at my house watching Mack and Aries while I was out of town. She followed the detailed instructions and I came home to happy pups and the house was in good condition. I def recommend her and would utilize her again for house sitting.
I was pretty anxious about trying a new sitter, but Allayna put all my nerves at ease! I really appreciated her doing a meet & greet to see how she interacted with my dog and getting to know her. During her stay, she was extremely communicative the whole time with our dog. I know Benny will be very excited to see her the next time she comes to stay!
