âConnor is an excellent sitter. He's very thoughtful and attentive to our pets needs (love, attention, walks, sniffs), and our needs (lots of adorable dog pics). He's very respectful and also top notch on the house sitting front as well. We are looking forward to having Connor watch our boys again soon (and I know they feel the same)!â

âHeather was absolutely amazing from her meet & greet many months ago to the end of her stay last week. Our sassy senior poodle can be a little grouchy & a picky eater, but he warmed up to her so quickly. She followed all instructions for his care and the care of our home perfectly and then some - she really went above & beyond. Her updates and photos were super cute & made us feel at ease. We returned to everything just as we had left it, and most importantly, a very happy dog. Thanks Heather!!â

âShe was amazing, was able to book her last minute and she was very good with communication. She sent photos and videos while she was over watching our dog and even left a note! Would highly recommend and will definitely be using her again!â

âVery pleased. Mirren to instantly bonded with Jinja! Plus she arrived on time, was very nice, communicated well, and sent me cute updates throughout the house sitting period.â

âMy first time using Ericka to watch my dog Toby and I'm very pleased with the job she did. She sent me pictures of Toby each day which I enjoyed receiving. Toby requires eye drops 5 times per day so it's a bit of work to care for him. Also pleased that the house was in good order when I returned. I hope to use Ericka again in the future.â

âWallis went above and beyond to enable a reservation for us. Her updates during reservations are well timed, helpful, and informative. The action shots she has captured have been hilarious (#husky). Cannot recommend her highly enough.â

âWe loved having Mariah dog sit for us! She took the time to come by and meet Bruno before the scheduled date which is always so helpful. She sent lots of updates and pictures and even helped clean up the guest room after her stay. I could tell Bruno was so comfortable with her and he enjoyed having her around. I hope to work with Mariah again soon!â

âBecca is an awesome pet sitter! She immediately attached to our dog who is very nervous and sometimes doesnât like people. She was so supportive of his needs.â

âJayne took great care of our two doggos and was extremely respectful to our home. We really appreciated her prompt communication, punctuality and little updates while we were gone. She had her hands full with our two mischief makers, and we are so pleased with her care.â

âValerie was fantastic!! She took such wonderful care of our dog during the week we were traveling. She took him on hikes, brought him a new toy to explore, and sent frequent updates, including the cutest videos of his daily activities. Valerie was a great communicator and incredibly responsive. She took great care of our house and left it better than she found it (our dog bowls were sparkling!). We highly recommend her!â

âAnne is great and I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs. She is communicative and my dog warned up to her quickly, he could just sense how open and caring she is to dogs.â

âAkira was fantastic with Chop. He gave us regular updates, lots of pictures, and really seemed to *get* Chop the way we do. Everything went well (even with her reactivity to other animals on walks) and we were very happy. Will book again.â

About: I started petsitting casually in 2017 and took on more work during the pandemic. I have experience with multi-pet households and pets with special medical- or social needs. I love animals and understand how important it is to trust the person caring for them when you're out of town or working a long day. I'm familiar with different pet food diets (raw food, kidney care/low-phosphorous, urinary care, etc.), and I'm comfortable and practiced at giving medications to both cats and dogs, and have some experience with administering subcutaneous fluids to cats as well. If your pets have any needs that I don't have prior experience with, I would love to learn! Currently I am available to watch cats of all ages, and non-reactive, leash-trained adult dogs. I work from home part-time and am currently available to do overnights and drop-ins for cats and adult dogs. If the drop-in times listed on my profile don't work for you, let me know and we can probably work something out! I can offer more flexibility for clients in Garfield, Friendship, Bloomfield, Shadyside, parts of East Liberty, and lower Lawrenceville. I'm timely, dependable, and clean, and try to provide a calming presence to animals in my care. I'm easily reached if anything changes before, during, or after the booking, and can offer as many updates as you'd like. I want to do right by you and your animals and will always do my best in caring for them. If your household or pets have any special needs, I'm always down to learn more.
âDavid was a fantastic sitter for my dog and cat. He asked questions to make sure he would maintain their normal routines when needed and sent regular updates/photos. They were both very well taken care of and very comfortable with David, which I can say confidently as my cat didnât even give me the cold shoulder when I came home (as heâs been known to do). Thanks so much David, hopefully youâll be available the next time I need a sitter!â

âMarcela was wonderful with our goldendoodle! She stayed with him for over a week while we were away, and we could tell he had a blast. She took him for many walks in the neighborhood and sent frequent picture and video updates. We will definitely be booking Marcela again!â

âShe was wonderful with our dogs while we were gone for the weekend. Our one dog even warmed up to her pretty much instantly and that dog never likes new people. I really appreciated all of the photo updates and the way she made sure to understand and give our fur babies the same treatment we give them ourselves, if not better. We won't hesitate to continue booking her if she's available in the future.â

âRegan is great! She was super communicative and made sure all was well with our senior diabetic cat who needs shots twice a day and our hyper young cattle dog. Very grateful for her!â
Bloomfield pet parents share their Rover experiences
Akira did a wonderful job taking care of our two pups and our house while we were gone. We got updates often and had quick responses. The house looked exactly the same when we came home as when we left - very respectful of our home and belongings and everything was clean. We would absolutely use Akira again for this service and our dogs love him!

Jackie watched Ellie for almost a week while we were out of town. She did a fantastic job at communicating and was extremely flexible and helpful when our plans changed. I would highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs. She goes above and beyond and my dog absolutely loves her.

CK was amazing!! He was great with our Senior dog giving her pills and making her feel safe from the get go. He sent constant updates throughout and even washed the sheets we gave him and took out the trash without asking. We never got to do a meet and greet because it was a last minute booking due to our previous sitter cancelling and our dogs warmed up to him immediately. Would 1000% recommend him.

Mariah did a fantastic job taking care of our two large dogs and our home. She kept us updated with pictures of the pups and regular check-ins, which gave us so much peace of mind. We were really grateful to have her looking after everything so we could enjoy our trip without worrying about the dogs. Weâd absolutely recommend Mariah and would love to book her again in the future. Thanks again, Mariah!

Matilda was amazing with our dog, Biscotti, especially during a crazy winter storm. When our flight was canceled, she kindly stayed an extra night without hesitation. She was reliable, communicative, and took such great care of him. Weâre so grateful and would absolutely book with her again!

Wallis was absolutely wonderful! She stayed with Leo at our house for 9 nights and it was super smooth and easy. Leo loves her, she kept in touch daily and sent pictures and our house was left in perfect shape. We are so grateful and looking forward to having her watch Leo again.

Bryce gave me peace of mind w daily updates/photos of my large dog. He played and walked my dog, ABOVE, fed and cleaned up after my hairy beast BEYOND, even brushed and checked for ticks PLATIUM!!! I never had a better dog sitter, will hire him again. Instead of my pup missing me, she had a vacation too, LOL.
