About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I recently graduated from college and moved to the city, and I’m excited to continue spending time with animals through dog walking and pet sitting. Over the years, I’ve pet sat and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, and family members, giving me experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. My family has Dane Mastiffs, so I’m very comfortable handling large breeds, but I also adore small dogs like my aunt’s two mini dachshunds. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important routines, exercise, patience, and affection are for dogs, and I’ll always treat your pet like part of the family. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands! I work full-time, but my schedule is similar to shift work. I have open mornings and the occasional free weekend! Pet care is something I enjoy, gets me outside, and is a little bit of exercise all at once. I’m organized, dependable, and committed to making sure pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feedings, I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide updates (and lots of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. My goal is for the pets to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. That means sticking to their routine, staying in familiar environments, and being aware of the surrounding stressors. I am great at following clear instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, litter box care, and any special routines their pets are used to. I also keep homes clean and tidy, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I can provide services at the client's home; I don't have boarding facilities.

About: Animals have been part of my life since day one. I grew up with dogs and cats of all personalities! I currently share my home with Kisses, my calico, and Teddy, my German Shorthaired Pointer! Over the years I've dog sat for all sizes and breeds — from tiny lap dogs to large, boisterous pups — and I treat every single one like they're my own. Your pet will be loved, played with, and completely spoiled. My home has a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, zoom, and explore that's perfect for dogs who need to burn off some energy. I'm also comfortable administering medication, so pets with special health needs are absolutely welcome. Your baby will get the same attentive care at my place that they get at home. Whether your pet needs a calm, cozy stay or a high-energy playmate, I've got them covered. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, which means pet care is never an afterthought. It's woven into my whole day. I'm home the majority of the week, and on the rare occasion I do step out, I'm never gone for more than 3 hours. Your pet will always have someone present, attentive, and ready to play, cuddle, or just keep them company. No long stretches alone, ever. My home is set up thoughtfully for both dogs and cats. The layout is split-level, with cats having full run of the upstairs and dogs enjoying the main floor plus access to the fully fenced backyard — plenty of space to play, explore, and burn energy safely. The two never have to share space unless everyone is comfortable. I do have a resident calico and a German Shorthaired Pointer, both of whom are friendly and social, so I do ask that visiting pets are comfortable around other animals of their kind. I always offer a free meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone — pets and people — feels good about the stay before any commitment is made. My home is puppy-proofed and high-energy-dog-ready, and I have 24/7 SimpliSafe security monitoring for added peace of mind. You can expect regular photos and updates throughout every stay because you shouldn't have to wonder how your pet is doing. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions exactly. Your routines, your rules — meal times, crate preferences, favorite toys, walking routes — I stick to all of it. I respect your home as if it were my own, always clean up after your dog outside, and scoop litter boxes daily. Your pet's comfort and your peace of mind are the whole point.

About: I’ve looked after multiple dogs of different breeds and sizes so I have experience looking after nearly all kinds of dogs. I am capable of also looking after multiples dogs at once, truly caring for them, and playing with them. My wife and I will spend our time and efforts to make your dog feel at home. As I have dogs of my own, it will fit like a glove as I will be caring for your dog alongside my own. I will treat your dog like my own. Dogs are very important to me regardless whether it’s my own dog or someone else’s. I will make sure that dog is safe and feels cared for in any environment.

About: I have had dogs in my household since I was a baby. I moved to pittsburgh in 2021, and before that was living with my parents who had four dogs! Right now, I have 3 cats. I love to dogsit and spend time with other people's babies! I have experience in dog sitting, and have spent some time working in dog daycare/boarding. I am currently not working a typical job so I am available 7 days a week most weeks and can spend all of my time with your pet if needed! I do not shy away from large breeds and will match their energy. If you have anxious or shy pets I will put in the time to get to know them and make them feel safe. Senior dogs with most special needs I have experienced. I am currently launching a business that allows for flexibility. I am wanting to find a feel good passion project and this fits perfectly into my schedule throughout the day. I will treat your pet and home as if you are there, friendly and respectfully. Knowing a pet is inside I am aware of escape artist so I do show caution opening the door. Depending on the person and place I can do a sweep through the house to make sure there were no accidents from your pet as well. While in my care, I am very aware of my surrounding and typically keep an extra leash, treats, and doggie bag on me as well. Depending on the energy level of your dog, I can always take them for a little extra run if needed.

About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

About: I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while staying with me. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their dog is in good hands, so I always do my best to provide attentive and thoughtful care. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I’m more experienced with smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) and enjoy spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel at home. Initially, I would ask pet parent to answer a list of questions I found helpful to know. For example, what’s the daily walking/sleeping/exercise/wasting routine. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.

I’ll tidy up any messes and double-check doors and gates before I leave. House sitting — Overnight care in your own home, where your pet is most comfortable. I keep their normal routine intact — meals, walks, bedtime, all of it — and keep your home secure and tidy while you’re away. My availability: I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means pet care fits naturally into my day instead of being squeezed around a commute. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays throughout the week — mornings, midday, afternoons, and evenings — and I’m able to accommodate both recurring bookings and last-minute requests. Because I’m home most of the day, I can give your pet consistent attention and plenty of time, not a rushed fifteen minutes between meetings. My own daily rhythm with Ollie already revolves around walks and playtime, so your pet slots right into a routine I genuinely look forward to. What you can count on: I know that trusting someone with your pet — and often your home — is a big deal, and I never take that lightly. I show up when I say I will, follow your instructions closely, and send photos and updates during every service so you always know how your pet is doing. If anything ever seems off, you’ll hear from me right away. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a happy dog at the end of a good walk or a cat that finally decides you’re worth sitting next to. I’d love to give your pet that kind of care while you’re away — and I’m always happy to do a Meet & Greet first so you and your pet can get comfortable with me before booking. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which makes pet care a natural part of my day rather than something I have to work around. I can accommodate walks, drop in visits, and house sitting throughout the week in the morning, midday, afternoon, or evening. I am also able to respond to last minute or recurring requests. Since I am home most of the day, I can give your pet consistent attention and stay close to their normal routine, whether that means a lunchtime walk, a couple of check ins, or overnight care in your home. My own dog Ollie keeps me on a steady rhythm of walks and playtime, so fitting your pet into that flow is easy and something I genuinely enjoy. Because I offer dog walking, drop in visits, and house sitting, most of my care takes place in your home and neighborhood, and I treat both with real respect. On walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, follow safe routes, pay attention to weather and pavement temperature, and stay focused on their comfort and body language. For drop in visits, I follow your instructions closely including feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, litter boxes, and plenty of attention and play. I always double check doors, gates, and locks before I leave. For house sitting, I keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible in their own familiar space, keep your home secure and tidy, and treat it with the same care I give my own. Throughout every service, I send photos and updates so you always know your pet is safe and comfortable, and I reach out quickly if anything ever seems off. Trust is the foundation of this work, and I never take it for granted.

About: I am an experienced petsitter who has worked in a professional, insured capacity (for Heavy Petting Petsitting) for over a decade. I also have experience working as an Adoptions Counselor at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, where I was trained in the “Fear Free”, positive reinforcement-focused method of animal training and handling. I have an extensive understanding of both canine and feline body language and behavior, and have worked with dogs and cats of all breeds and personality types! Updated rates reflect current gas prices and road closures. Thank you for understanding! I’m a college professor who has wide availability during the summer months. During the fall, my daytime schedule may be more restricted, but I am usually at home at least a couple of days of the week! I have a household of a dog (cattle dog mix) and two kitties who are all very animal friendly! However, if your fur baby is not a fan of other animals, I am happy to stay at your home and follow your preferences as far as house conduct goes.
