Peach isn't a big fan of humans but loves going to Christy's, getting to visit with her friends. Peach loves her dog Louie and playing with the other pups that she takes care of. I enjoy the photo updates, I am happy that Peach feels safe and I feel comforted while she is in Christy's care, and that Christy allows the dogs on the furniture-Peach even got to sleep in bed when she stayed. About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

About: I have always grown up with dogs and cats. Animal fur was always a “fashion choice” of mine. Right now, I have a 125 lbs pitbull mix named charlie, he has big paws and an even bigger heart. Hello! My name is Madeline (pronounced like caroline) I am currently a high school senior, who is going to my freshman year at college in late August. I am looking forward to going to college for acting and getting my bachelors of fine arts in the drama department at Carnegie Mellon University. My weekends are pretty open. Besides the small vacations throughout the summer. I am pretty available most weeks. I am in front of house manager at the Olney theater center. I am usually working nighttime (5-11) shows, so I am available during the day. I have had the amazing opportunity of working with dogs in the last show I was in. I did “legally blonde the musical”. We had two amazing actor pups in the show and that was such a great experience for me. I have grown up with animals my entire life. I have two dogs right now and in previous years I had up to four cats all at once. I have such a huge passion for taking care of animals and being around them. I am very interested in volunteering at animal shelters and will continue to in the future. My favorite type of exercise is to just walk outside. If you have a pup who needs frequent walks I am your person! Walking is my favorite. I have so many favorite places to go on walks. I will usually listen to podcasts, music, or study any of my lines for a show that I’m in. I am incredibly tech savvy and will respond to any message or call within a minute or two. I think it’s incredibly important to keep you updated and “in the know” with what is going on while I’m taking care of your beloved pets. At my home I love to take long walks with my two dogs. I am fairly comfortable walking larger dogs, or dogs who like to be on the move. Based off of what you would like me to do, I will follow your instructions to the T.

About: Hi! I’m currently focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits, and I’m not offering boarding at the moment. I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while staying with me. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their dog is in good hands, so I always do my best to provide attentive and thoughtful care. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I’m more experienced with smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) and enjoy spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel at home. To ensure I can continue providing the highest standard of care to my clients, I have made the decision to limit my service to take care of one dog at a time I make sure I understand the needs from pet parents. Initially, I would ask pet parent to answer a list of questions I found helpful to know. For example, what’s the daily walking/sleeping/exercise/wasting routine. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.
About: My love for dogs is unmatched! I’m a junior in college who absolutely adores dogs and also happens to want to make money for tuition😂 For the summer : *for house sitting, Im available every day but on weekdays I would need to leave from 4:30-7 to go to work. Mon-Thurs: any time up until 3:30pm or after 7pm Fri, Sat, Sun : free all day I am super flexible! During the summer I have a very open schedule - so we can work around it more. About: I grew up with dogs and currently have a cat! I have fostered cats before and am familiar with medications and some of those more shy/scared personalities. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pet and want to help create as much comfort for them as possible while you’re away. About: I am an experienced petsitter who has worked in a professional, insured capacity (for Heavy Petting Petsitting) for over a decade. I also have experience working as an Adoptions Counselor at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, where I was trained in the “Fear Free”, positive reinforcement-focused method of animal training and handling. I have an extensive understanding of both canine and feline body language and behavior, and have worked with dogs and cats of all breeds and personality types! I am currently in a remote Master’s program which allows me to arrange my schedule as is convenient to my clients. I do all of my course work from home! I have a household of a dog (cattle dog mix) and two kitties who are all very animal friendly! However, if your fur baby is not a fan of other animals, I am happy to stay at your home and follow your preferences as far as house conduct goes.
