About: Enthusiastic dog walker and house sitter in Point Breeze/Shadyside! I have always had a deep love for animals. I am very comfortable around any type of dog or cat. Every time I am walking around the neighborhood, it brings me instant joy to see so many dogs out and about and would love for your dog to experience that with me! I had a dog for 14 years, 5 years of which I helped in caring for him when he was diagnosed with diabetes. This included giving him insulin shot injections at exact times and exact amounts. I have my own 2 cats who are 2 years old, and they are the epitome of a brother-sister duo! Outside of caring for my own animals for the last 14 years, I have experience with dog walking and house sitting for other people as well. I’m currently working full time M-F from 9am-3pm. I’m also in grad school part time and taking 2 classes currently - one is asynchronous online and my other class is Tuesday evenings 6-8pm. So, I am available to care for your pet any day of the week after 3pm (except Tuesdays). I’m also available on the weekends. Caring for your animal would be a much needed break for me with my schedule! I want to be able to always keep an eye on your cat or dog and want to ensure everything you noted is respected and done throughly with my utmost care.

About: When I was 5, my first ever chore was feeding the dog because my parents knew it was what I cared about most. That hasn’t changed. I’ve had animals of some sort my entire life and currently have two larger dogs. I’ve used Rover as a pet owner since moving to Pittsburgh and can fully attest to how helpful it has been, which is why I decided to become a sitter I’ve sat for animals with needs for oral and topical medicines and am comfortable handling that. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I only need a day’s notice to plan transportation. For house sitting, I’m happy to work from that home as well. I’m comfortable with whatever your pet is used to. Fenced yards, leashed walks, and litter boxes are all fine by me. I’m also happy to help reinforce training and routine if needed.

Autumn and Addie were absolutely wonderful! They sent so many pictures and videos throughout my trip, and it was obvious how much they cared about Nellie and Chi. Seeing how happy, playful, and comfortable Nellie was made me feel so at ease while I was on vacation. I never had to worry because I knew they were in great hands. Zoe was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She is thorough, detail-oriented, dependable, and incredibly trustworthy. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and takes her responsibilities seriously. She cared for our dog and two cats for five days, managing medications, meals, walks, playtime, and all of their daily routines with great attention to detail. She was also incredibly respectful of our home and we returned to everything just as we left it. What impressed us most was the patience and kindness she showed our dog, Masie, who is very fearful and slow to trust new people. Zoe took the time to earn that trust at our dog's pace, and now they're the best of friends. Seeing that transformation gave us so much confidence that our pets were not only well cared for but genuinely happy while we were away. Zoe is flexible, reliable, and communicates well, making the entire experience stress-free. We came home to happy, healthy pets and had complete peace of mind while we were gone. Keri was wonderful! It was my first time leaving my puppy for the whole day and so I was a little nervous about how she’d do but Keri sent updates and adorable pictures that put me at ease. I also appreciated her attentiveness when we were going over all of the details she’d need to know for the day.
Elise did a great job caring for our cat, Sujuk, while we were out of town! We received twice a day updates with photos, which made us feel at ease and confident that Sujuk was in good hands. When we arrived home, the house was well-cared for and Sujuk was in good spirits. We would definitely hire Elise again in the future!
Tony was exceptional! It was so obvious that he spent time loving on our pets, not just tending to them. He sent tons of updates and excellent pictures while he was here and helped us feel so confident in their wellbeing. I was pretty anxious about trying a new sitter, but Allayna put all my nerves at ease! I really appreciated her doing a meet & greet to see how she interacted with my dog and getting to know her. During her stay, she was extremely communicative the whole time with our dog. I know Benny will be very excited to see her the next time she comes to stay!
Emma did a great job being flexible and taking care of our dog for a week! She allowed for a hybrid of boarding and sitting that worked well as our family grew by another human. She gave us daily updates of his adventures and romps around town and daily walks and activities.
As always, Flora did a terrific job caring for Rascal and Hobbes. She followed our instructions about care and feeding, and the photos she sent showed how comfortable and happy the kitties were with her. She is excellent at communicating clearly and promptly and leaves the house in great shape. I hope we'll be able to hire her again!
