About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

The cats were immediately drawn to him when he came for a pre-visit and I could tell they were content when I returrned home. I appreciate that Akira provided regular updates and also took care of watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out the trash, etc. i will hire Akira again if he's available the next time I travel.”

We were concerned that he would want to go with her, when she left / went home from the stay!! That is how much she did for him.”
