“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“We would like to give Ali 10 stars! She was the best possible caregiver for our nervous goofy dog. She sent dear photos and videos during our trip, and it was so sweet to hear how she spoke to Lucky. On top of all of the expert care, she was extremely gracious and flexible when I made a mistake with the booking dates. We feel so fortunate to have found Ali.”

“Breanna was absolutely lovely! Zinnia had gotten sick on the way to their home and Breanna was still okay with watching over her! She kept me updated the entire time I was gone, sent lots of pictures, and followed my instructions to a tee (including the extra ones I added last minute to help Zinnia feel better)! Zinnia got used to her very quick and had a wonderful time playing, lounging, and going for walks together!”

“Adrienne is a loving, flexible dog sitter. Her apartment is perfect for dogs. She really puts you at ease with contact while you are on the road. A+”

“We recently needed to find a new sitter for our dogs for the first time in a couple of years so we were a little anxious about how they would handle a new place. They had a great first stay with Ellyn! She sent pictures/updates every day and we could tell that they were comfortable and well cared for. They were happy and tired from their adventures when we picked them up. We will definitely use Ellyn again and would highly recommend her!”

“My dog Reggie had a wonderful time with Sharon and her dogs! Sharon sent photos and videos throughout the day, and Reggie didn't want to leave! He came home happy and tired. Thank you Sharon!”

“Beedo had a fabulous time with Coralee. From the moment we arrived and the way she greeted us I knew this was going to go well. Coralee was attentive to Beedo's special needs and quirks and built an instant relationship with him. It was a great experience and I loved the picks she sent me of him relaxing with his blankie with her dog. I highly recommend Coralee and her dog Peducci. They're a great care team!”
“Maple loved her stay! She and Luna became best friends, and I know they tired each other out! Lucas did a great job sending pics every day and letting me know how things were going. Would definitely book again!”

“Adisyn took care of our 48 pound hound mix for a week while my family was on vacation, and we felt really good about it the whole time. Our dog took to her right away during our meet-and-greet, Adisyn seems very sweet and to really enjoy dogs. She has a lovely fenced in backyard for her dog and ours to run around in, which was a big plus for us. It feels good to have a future pup sitter we trust!”

“Our dog Woody had a great stay with Victoria. It was our first time leaving him and we loved seeing the videos of him that she sent twice a day. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions. He came home happy and tired from playing with all of his friends.”

“Justin was great! He took great care of my dog, giving her multiple walks and play sessions, providing updates throughout her stay. His dog Watson was a great companion for her. I appreciate that he only takes one dog at a time, providing dedicated care while dog sitting. I would have Justin watch my dog again.”

“Tia loved my Dash like he was her own. Dash was very well taken care of and loved. I received daily updates with pictures and videos. Tia is also very accommodating. Would highly reccomend to everyone!”

“Adam was fantastic with Macy! He sent daily pictures of their activities; even twice on most days! Kept us up-to-date on all things and really gave us peace of mind leaving Macy behind for two weeks. We would 110% reach out to Adam again the next time we need a sitter for Macy.”

“Lindsay and her family were so sweet and accommodating. They went out of their way to learn about my puppy and sent updates. They were there when I needed them. Thank you!”

“My cat is anxious and shy and Audrey did a great job keeping her comfortable. She was very responsive and I received regular updates. My cat didn’t want to leave her at the end haha. Would recommend her to anyone. Thanks for everything! 🩷”

“My booking request was super last minute because my previous arrangements fell through, and Augusta was originally not available but reached back out to me later on to tell me she would be able to if I still needed it which I greatly appreciated! She was great with Bobble and communicated very regularly about how he was doing!”

About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for cats and dogs since I was a little girl. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. Over the years, I've cared for and babysat pets for friends, family, and neighbors, earning their trust through dependable, compassionate care. My experience includes caring for cats and dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments—from playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention, as well as independent cats and affectionate lap cats alike. I understand that some pets warm up quickly while others need time to build trust, and I always let them set the pace. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, cleaning litter boxes, or simply providing companionship and comfort while you're away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and well cared for, while giving you peace of mind knowing they're in reliable hands. I work full time out of the home, but can be available to board animals overnight on weekdays for (1) night with a pick up by 7:30 AM the following day and can board or house-visit over the weekend (Drop off Friday after 4PM thru Sundays-pick up by 5 pm Sunday). I can do house visits any week day after 4 PM. I have a fenced in backyard and a very walkable, safe neighborhood. My home is a pet's paradise with lots of comfy couches and plenty of space to run and play, and windows for clocking in for Neighborhood Watch :) I don't mind animals sleeping with me, if they want to! Otherwise, plenty of places for furry ones to nap and snooze whenever they choose.
“Tyler was great with my dog Riley! She immediately took to his house and yard, as well as Tyler himself. He was flexible in terms of scheduling a meet-and-greet that was kinda last minute and was professional. He also provided plenty of photo updates of Riley throughout the stay. Overall, I would definitely use Tyler again for dog sitting.”

“Lucia was able to accommodate my last minute boarding request for my puppy. She's communicative, flexible, and provided a very welcoming home. I received multiple photos a day and even came back to a groomed dog. I would recommend Lucia!”

“David was fantastic with our three cats! He was even great with our grumpy cat! One of our cats wasn’t feeling well and David made sure to keep a close eye on him. Thank you so much for everything, David!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were so lucky to connect with our neighbor Ann! Ann is a warm and direct communicator and was wonderful to work with. She is flexible, prompt, responsive, kept us informed, and was generous with extra gestures to look out for our home and cats while we were away for a week. We had never worked with a pet sitter we didn't already know personally, and Ann really put us at ease. Our cats were relaxed and well cared for when we got home. We're thankful to have met Ann and look forward to working with her in the future :) Thank you Ann!”

“Clareese was amazing pet sitter! She was incredibly friendly, communicative, warm, and professional throughout the entire process. Even with my last-minute booking, she was so accommodating. I had great peace of mind knowing my pet was in such good hands while I was away. I highly recommend Clareese to anyone in need of a reliable pet sitter!”

“Rose was excellent to work with. She was extremely flexible and attentive as we dealt with a fluid trip out of town due to the loss of a family member. She dealt with my diabetic cat’s medication smoothly and took such wondering care of my two cats while I was away. All instructions on feeding and cleaning were followed excellently and when I returned a day early, Rose was incredibly accommodating. We are incredibly grateful to have worked with Rose during a difficult time in our lives, she put our mind at ease with our cats while we were gone - we hope to work with her again!”

I’m fluent in cat body language, an expert string-toy wrangler, and a certified chin-scratch connoisseur. I understand that cats thrive on routine, so I make it my mission to keep their environment stable, clean, and fun while you’re away. “Tiffany did a FANTASTIC job with our kitties. One of my kitties has FLUTD, and she was knowledgeable of the disease and made sure they had fresh water daily and added water to their food. I loved getting all her photos, and I felt confident that my kitties were receiving the very best care. She's very trustworthy, and I will definitely use Tiffany again!!”

“Sari is so patient and gentle with my deaf cat Luna : ) Luna is very shy and hesitant to play with visitors, but Sari worked expertly to gain Luna's trust without pushing her boundaries and even took special note of which toys/treats Luna was responding to (and I am sure Luna appreciated this very much too hehe!). It is extremely reassuring to know that my cat is under such kind and attentive care while I am away : ) Sari is fantastic!”

“Paulette was absolutely wonderful! She always gave cute updates of the cats and made sure that both of them had time to not only play, but also do their usual routine of eating separately (greedy little things want each others food!). It was so great getting updates from Paulette!”

“Yasmeen was absolutely amazing and took the best care of my cat. She was communicative, reliable, and truly went above and beyond! Banjo and I look forward to having her again. 10/10 recommend!”

“I definitely recommend Morgan to any pet parent in need of reliable care with great communication. Morgan was more than happy to stop back in to double check something with our kitties, and we couldn’t be more thankful!”

“Meghan did a great job. She was outstanding at communicating. She sent pictures and comments daily. Sometimes twice daily. I could not have had a better person taking care of my four black cats. It was particularly important since one of them, Lena a 16-year-old had recently gone blind. It was critical that she receive her medications to help her have any chance to recover her vision. Megan’s daily reports and pictures of Lena clearly showed the progress as Lena had started to regain her vision. I would gladly use Meghan again.”

“Haley took great care of our cats. She administered medication and earned the trust of our shy cat. She gave consistently updates with pictures, which we appreciated. We've already rebooked her for more check-ins. Thanks Haley!”

“Regan was absolutely wonderful and put my mind at ease while I traveled for a conference. I have a sick cat, and she was not only understanding, but also communicative and flexible in taking care of him. She also sent tons of photos. I would have her help again in a heartbeat!”

“Amy is great!! This is the second time Amy has watched our cats and they are always so well taken care of! We love all the updates and ease of communication. Highly recommend!”

“Alexander listened well to all the instructions we gave around pet care for our cat Willow and followed through perfectly. He is very responsive and responsible. We are very satisfied and highly recommend him.”

“Clytie is a fantastic cat sitter. She followed all instructions perfectly and our cat was well taken care of and happy while we were away. Highly recommended and will definitely book her again next time.”

“Lucas and his family are super friendly! Nova was exhausted from her day of fun. They have a huge backyard that is fenced, allowing her to run around safely. Definitely would recommend Lucas for daycare :)”

“Valerie was terrific! She treated our little Hattie like her own and provided routine updates with pictures. We've already scheduled our next Doggy Day Care!”

“Justin was great as he was able to accommodate a late evening daycare visit for our dog Fran while we went for an event in town. He was incredibly accommodating and flexible with the timing and was very eager to help. His corgi Watson is adorable and a very social dog. Our dog was anxious but Justin was able to keep her company and sooth her while we were gone for a few hours, she eventually relaxed and laid her head on his lap! I would highly recommend Justin to take care of your dog as he loves them and provides great care for them.”

“Christy is great! She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and double checked instructions on care for my dog. My dog came back so happy and tired after her day with Christy. Would definitely recommend!”

“Alexis was very responsive during our "interview" stage and very pleasant upon arrival. Although prince was anxious to leave he seemed to be comfortable and safe and that's all that mattered. Thank you for being available.”

About: Animals have been part of my life since day one. I grew up with dogs and cats of all personalities! I currently share my home with Kisses, my calico, and Teddy, my German Shorthaired Pointer — one of the highest-energy breeds out there — so if your dog goes a mile a minute, I'm more than ready for it!! Over the years I've dog sat for all sizes and breeds — from tiny lap dogs to large, boisterous pups — and I treat every single one like they're my own. Your pet will be loved, played with, and completely spoiled. My home has a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to run, zoom, and explore that's perfect for dogs who need to burn off some energy. I'm also comfortable administering medication, so pets with special health needs are absolutely welcome. Your baby will get the same attentive care at my place that they get at home. Whether your pet needs a calm, cozy stay or a high-energy playmate, I've got them covered. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! I work remotely with a very flexible schedule, which means pet care is never an afterthought. It's woven into my whole day. I'm home the majority of the week, and on the rare occasion I do step out, I'm never gone for more than 3 hours. Your pet will always have someone present, attentive, and ready to play, cuddle, or just keep them company. No long stretches alone, ever. My home is set up thoughtfully for both dogs and cats. The layout is split-level, with cats having full run of the upstairs and dogs enjoying the main floor plus access to the fully fenced backyard — plenty of space to play, explore, and burn energy safely. The two never have to share space unless everyone is comfortable. I do have a resident calico and a German Shorthaired Pointer, both of whom are friendly and social, so I do ask that visiting pets are comfortable around other animals of their kind. I always offer a free meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone — pets and people — feels good about the stay before any commitment is made. My home is puppy-proofed and high-energy-dog-ready, and I have 24/7 SimpliSafe security monitoring for added peace of mind. You can expect regular photos and updates throughout every stay because you shouldn't have to wonder how your pet is doing. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions exactly. Your routines, your rules — meal times, crate preferences, favorite toys, walking routes — I stick to all of it. I respect your home as if it were my own, always clean up after your dog outside, and scoop litter boxes daily. Your pet's comfort and your peace of mind are the whole point.
“Tia was a great puppy sitter for our Monty! She updated us throughout the day with videos. Monty was playful and happy. She took great care of our fur baby! Would definitely recommend her.”

“Such a lovely woman. Sami and Bleu must have had a wonderful time. They had lots of playmates….wore them out. They have been sleeping since we left. I will definitely get in touch again. Thank you so much Regina.”

“Beau had a great time with Joe. He is a 2 yo 100 lb mastiff-Dane puppy who likes to romp around. Joe was happy to accommodate him and provide him with activities and supervised play with the other pups he had visiting. Joe is not intimidated by big puppies in the least. Beau returned home happy and tired! I feel comfortable having Beau stay for an extended stay with Joe and his family.”

“Nova had a great time at doggy daycare with Matthew and his two pups! We loved getting updates and pictures throughout the day, and how easy it is to communicate with Matthew. Our dog is usually nervous in new settings but she didn't even look back and settled in right away when we dropped her off. Thanks for making her feel at home!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was my first ever Rover reservation, so it’s a little overwhelming trying to choose a sitter from all the options — knowing they’re all strangers after all. I booked last minute AND I adjusted my reservation. Sara was so accommodating and flexible with all of my needs. I immediately felt at ease when I met her and her pup Grim, and I knew Cody was in good hands. Definitely will use again and recommend. Thanks for treating Cody like one of your own!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have cared for many, whether that’s my own, family, friends, and neighbors. I have walked, cared for, and helped train all dog types. I do not shy away from large breeds and will match their energy. If you have anxious or shy pets I will put in the time to get to know them and make them feel safe. Senior dogs with most special needs I have experienced. I am currently launching a business that allows for flexibility. I am wanting to find a feel good passion project and this fits perfectly into my schedule throughout the day. I will treat your pet and home as if you are there, friendly and respectfully. Knowing a pet is inside I am aware of escape artist so I do show caution opening the door. Depending on the person and place I can do a sweep through the house to make sure there were no accidents from your pet as well. While in my care, I am very aware of my surrounding and typically keep an extra leash, treats, and doggie bag on me as well. Depending on the energy level of your dog, I can always take them for a little extra run if needed.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. From the age of five all the way through my undergrad years, my home was always full of pets — dogs, cats, fish, lizards, you name it — so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. That experience started hands-on and early: when I was nine, I helped deliver my dog’s litter of puppies. Today I share my life with my dog, Ollie, whom I raised myself from the day we brought him home from the breeder as a puppy. Knowing a dog from puppyhood — the training, the routines, the little quirks — has given me a lot of patience and a good instinct for what each individual animal needs. The services I offer: Dog walking — A safe, leashed walk at the pace and distance that suits your dog, with plenty of sniff time, potty breaks, and fresh water when we get back. I’ll always let you know how the walk went. Drop-in visits — Feeding and fresh water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, medication if needed, and real one-on-one time for play, cuddles, or just company so your pet isn’t alone all day. I’ll tidy up any messes and double-check doors and gates before I leave. House sitting — Overnight care in your own home, where your pet is most comfortable. I keep their normal routine intact — meals, walks, bedtime, all of it — and keep your home secure and tidy while you’re away. My availability: I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which means pet care fits naturally into my day instead of being squeezed around a commute. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays throughout the week — mornings, midday, afternoons, and evenings — and I’m able to accommodate both recurring bookings and last-minute requests. Because I’m home most of the day, I can give your pet consistent attention and plenty of time, not a rushed fifteen minutes between meetings. My own daily rhythm with Ollie already revolves around walks and playtime, so your pet slots right into a routine I genuinely look forward to. What you can count on: I know that trusting someone with your pet — and often your home — is a big deal, and I never take that lightly. I show up when I say I will, follow your instructions closely, and send photos and updates during every service so you always know how your pet is doing. If anything ever seems off, you’ll hear from me right away. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a happy dog at the end of a good walk or a cat that finally decides you’re worth sitting next to. I’d love to give your pet that kind of care while you’re away — and I’m always happy to do a Meet & Greet first so you and your pet can get comfortable with me before booking. I work from home with a very flexible schedule, which makes pet care a natural part of my day rather than something I have to work around. I can accommodate walks, drop in visits, and house sitting throughout the week in the morning, midday, afternoon, or evening. I am also able to respond to last minute or recurring requests. Since I am home most of the day, I can give your pet consistent attention and stay close to their normal routine, whether that means a lunchtime walk, a couple of check ins, or overnight care in your home. My own dog Ollie keeps me on a steady rhythm of walks and playtime, so fitting your pet into that flow is easy and something I genuinely enjoy. Because I offer dog walking, drop in visits, and house sitting, most of my care takes place in your home and neighborhood, and I treat both with real respect. On walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, follow safe routes, pay attention to weather and pavement temperature, and stay focused on their comfort and body language. For drop in visits, I follow your instructions closely including feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, litter boxes, and plenty of attention and play. I always double check doors, gates, and locks before I leave. For house sitting, I keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible in their own familiar space, keep your home secure and tidy, and treat it with the same care I give my own. Throughout every service, I send photos and updates so you always know your pet is safe and comfortable, and I reach out quickly if anything ever seems off. Trust is the foundation of this work, and I never take it for granted.

“Amy is just *wonderful.*! Prompt, kind, knowledgeable, and great with my Millie. It gives me great peace of mind knowing she is walking and checking in on my dog when I am away and my partner is working long hours. Really grateful.”

About: I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while staying with me. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their dog is in good hands, so I always do my best to provide attentive and thoughtful care. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I’m more experienced with smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) and enjoy spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel at home. I’m always happy to schedule a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. Please feel free to reach out and tell me more about your pup — I’d love to meet them! I currently work 30 hours per week. I’m an early person so I’m happy to take pets to early walks! I am happy to walk your dog 3 times a day. Please chat with me! To ensure I can continue providing the highest standard of care to my clients, I have made the decision to limit my service to take care of one dog at a time I make sure I understand the needs from pet parents. Initially, I would ask pet parent to answer a list of questions I found helpful to know. For example, what’s the daily walking/sleeping/exercise/wasting routine. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.

About: I am a non profit professional with a fully remote work form home job who is passionate about animals. I have been caring for pets professionally for over 5 years (mainly dogs and cats). He’s a 10 year old golden retriever lab rescue mix who loves to sleep, go on walks and play with other dogs. If you’re interested in pet sitting with me, he’s always down to meet other dog friends (with a meet and greet visit prior to make sure it’s a good fit, of course). The care and wellbeing of your pets is my number one priority, which my reviews and testimonials can attest to! I live in close proximity to many dog parks and walking paths. I understand how stressful being away from your pets can be, so I ensure to provide a photo and text update every time I see your animal. Having a remote job allows me the flexibility to be with your furry friend as long as need be to put you both at ease! I currently have a remote, work from home job from 8-4PM. This gives me the flexibility to do multiple check ins, lots of walks or snuggles or all of the above to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable. I live close to many dog parks and love to play with animals. I care for your pet like they were my own and love to make them feel comfortable and like they’re on their own doggy vacation!

About: I am an experienced petsitter who has worked in a professional, insured capacity (for Heavy Petting Petsitting) for over a decade. I also have experience working as an Adoptions Counselor at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, where I was trained in the “Fear Free”, positive reinforcement-focused method of animal training and handling. I have an extensive understanding of both canine and feline body language and behavior, and have worked with dogs and cats of all breeds and personality types! Updated rates reflect current gas prices and road closures. Thank you for understanding! I’m a college professor who has wide availability during the summer months. During the fall, my daytime schedule may be more restricted, but I am usually at home at least a couple of days of the week! I have a household of a dog (cattle dog mix) and two kitties who are all very animal friendly! However, if your fur baby is not a fan of other animals, I am happy to stay at your home and follow your preferences as far as house conduct goes.
“Meghan is very gentle and sweet. She did an excellent job communicating with us and took great care of our pup! She was prompt and I felt very comfortable having her in our home.”

“Ann has been walking Hank for the past month. She has been so dependable and conscientious. Hank is sweet but he can be obstinate about walking. Ann has gone above and beyond to work with him and help him trust her. Hank loves her!”
“Yasmeen is just the sweetest and truly cares about animals. She was so patient with my skiddish pup and did her best to make sure my dog felt safe and comfortable with her. I'd highly recommend!”

Thank you!”

“Nelia took excellent care of Daffy while our family was away! She sent us 2 to 3 updates each day, along with pictures of our dog, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. The photos showed that Daffy wasn't simply being boarded, but was truly being included in the family's daily activities. We could not be happier with the care and service Nelia provided. If you're in the Pittsburgh area and need a reliable, caring dog sitter, we highly recommend her. We will absolutely use her services again in the future. Thank you, Nelia, for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby!”

“It's always a good sign when your dog is excited to get to the dogsitter's home. And Krista was also understanding and flexible when my flight home went all wacky. I'll happily let her continue to take care of my dog.”

“Regina is a great dog sitter. This was my first time leaving Bamboo with anyone besides my dad. I was a little anxious about it but Regina put me at ease with all her photos & update text. She has many dogs & cats of her own & wasn't sure how that would work out. It turned out to be a plus, her dogs are really friendly. Regina treated my dog as one of her own & I really appreciated that! If you get a chance to leave your dog with Regina do it, you won't be disappointed & your dog will be happy & well cared for.”

“Tamara was an excellent sitter for my little dog! I will definitely book her in the future! I'm not sure my dog even wanted to come home. She was comfortable there from the get go! Tamara also went above and beyond when my dog grabbed a chicken bone thrown in the grass.”

“Raeann is truly the best. She cares for Bronn as if he were her own. She always sends lots of updates and pictures (which as anxious dog mom I appreciate immensely). I could not recommend her enough and Bronn is looking forward his next visit!”
