About: I limit the number of pets so they get personalized love and attention. From shy senior cats to high-energy puppies, I have had and worked with all ages and needs. I provide frequent updates catered to the owner’s request. I like to build trust through consistence and long-term relationships so your pet sees a familiar face and is happy. I am retiring from teaching and will have a part time work-from-home job and will have plenty of time for love and cuddles with your pets. I walk several times a day so your dog (or walking cat), gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced in covered patio so they get plenty of fresh air! Again, I walk several times a day, have a park at the end of my road, I have a fenced in patio and there is a dog park within walking distance of my home. If they ride well in a car, I will take them to a big park for walks and dog park socialization. I have had dogs since I was born and cats all of my adult life. I have watched many animals for friends, families, neighbors, etc. I have had rabbits, turtles, fish, iguanas as well. I have a special place in my heart for animals.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, especially cats and dogs, and I’ve always felt really comfortable with them. Growing up, pets were just part of daily life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. As a teenager, I used to walk a family friend’s dog, which I really enjoyed. It taught me how important patience, consistency, and trust are when working with animals. I also have a senior cat now who even moved across the country with me, so I’m very used to caring for pets that need routine and a gentle, steady approach. When I’m with dogs, I just try to keep things calm, safe, and positive. Whether it’s a walk, feeding, or hanging out for company, I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m flexible throughout the week and can adjust my schedule as needed for walks, check-ins, or drop-ins. I like keeping things consistent for pets, so I do my best to stick to their normal routine and times whenever possible. When caring for pets, I focus on keeping things calm, safe, and familiar for them. I always follow any instructions exactly as given, especially for feeding, walks, and routines. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and make sure everything stays clean and as you left it. With pets, I take my time to build trust so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

I am completely available outside of my doggie daycare schedule! It does change weekly, but I don’t mind squeezing your pets into my schedule! About: I've had cats for over 20 years, all of my adult life. I'm an expert at giving medications. I've also owned small and medium sized dogs. I subscribe to positive reinforcement training. I am independently bonded and insured. Please request more info if needed. I live in the heart of Dormont. Have experience with cats and small/medium dogs. I drive so no issues with transportation. My availability is open! I prefer to watch your pet(s) in your home. If you leave me a schedule, including food, treats, play, and walk times, I will stick to that precisely. I feel that pets not only need a routine, but they do much better in their own environment. If there's an emergency, I will be able to bring them to my home. Obviously communication will be key, and this is only for extenuating circumstances (if I feel they are unsafe due to unforeseen situations). My goal is to continue their established routine, so when you come home, there will be a smooth transition.

About: I've lived with animals pretty much my entire life. I've had two dogs, two rats, a mouse, a ferret, and seven cats total throughout my life. I often pet sit my friends and families dogs and cats and even guinea pigs and geckos. I have been working through Rover as a pet sitter for about four years and I hope to meet many more of your little critters! As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away.
