About: I’ve always been a dog lover and both me and brother rescued a 6 year old white Labrador named “Zorro” who we brought before Covid began. We love him so much and since I moved countries he now lives with my parents in India. I wear a paw on my necklace which is a memory that he is not far away and will always take care of my parents behind me. Zorro now sits on the dinner table and enjoys all family meals. As someone with medical training and a responsible active lifestyle, I am calm under pressure, highly dependable and attentive to routines, medications, special care needs and feeding schedule. Whether your pet is playful or prefer quiet companionship I’m happy to adapt to their personality and needs. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family 🐾 I’m currently very flexible with my schedule until June 15th as I recently relocated to Pittsburgh to start my residency training. I will be able to work around a time and a schedule post June and will be open to taking care of your pet as per your need and happy to coordinate a schedule with you with my availability. I live in an apartment with my spouse who has grown up all around dogs as pets since he was a kid so we both love dogs but don’t have one of our own currently. Your pet is allowed on our sofa and enjoy the area of a one bedroom. If I am at your home, I will aim to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress free as possible while the owner is way by keeping a normal routine in their own home environment. I will carefully follow your instructions and communication is very important to me, so I can provide regular updates , photos and check-in to help the owner feel reassured. As someone with a medical background I am very attentive to details and safety.

“Barrett really was amazing. We booked him last minute (less than 2 hours before we needed him) so we could take in a Pirates game while passing thru Pittsburgh, and he was quite gracious. Our Tucker is nearly 15 and a bit of a nervous Nellie. Barrett took it all in stride. I highly recommend Barrett”

“Tia was a great puppy sitter for our Monty! She updated us throughout the day with videos. Monty was playful and happy. She took great care of our fur baby! Would definitely recommend her.”

About: Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a lifelong animal lover based in the Pittsburgh area. I understand that pets are family, and when you leave them with someone else you want the same care, attention, and safety you’d give them yourself. I spent 13 years with my sweet mini poodle mix Theo, who taught me how much love and personality can live in one small dog. Because of him, I’m especially attentive to each pet’s unique quirks, routines, and comfort needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, couch snuggles, or a consistent routine, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel most at home. I’m dependable, communicative, and I’ll send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Your pet will be treated with the same patience, kindness, and care I would want for my own. I currently work from home and have complete flexibility with my job to ensure your pet gets as much attention, walks, and love throughout the day as they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your pet’s routine closely, provide a calm environment, and ensure they are always supervised, secure, and well cared for. I will always send you updates and let you know what we are up to on our days together.

She was reliable, communicative, attentive, and clearly genuinely loves animals. She sent thoughtful updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We would not hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and dependable. Thank you, Valerie, for taking such amazing care of our furry family member!”

“Geoffrey was wonderful with Titan! He took him on plenty of walks, sent me lots of updates, and even dealt with Titan being on restricted play time with his partial ACL tear. I picked up an exhausted, happy pup!”

“Val is an absolutely incredible dog sitter and we are so lucky to have found her. She is very flexible and communicative with us on dates and times. And most importantly, she is so so amazing with our dog Wilson. He is so excited to go over there every time and she sends so many pictures and videos which are our favorite part! They do so many different activities and Wilson loves her son so much! Cannot rave enough, thank you and see you soon!!”

About: Located in Bloomfield / Shadyside — I’ve had over 10 cats in my life (many of whom lived to 18+!) as well as 2 dogs. I’ve pet-sat for all kinds of dogs, cats, and fish for neighbors and friends. Feel free to reach out and I can drop by to feed and play with the cat, take the dog for a walk, whatever you need! About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong pet lover with years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have a sweet three-year-old chihuahua mix, and I truly enjoy meeting and bonding with new dogs. I work from home full-time, so your dog will get plenty of attention, walks, and play throughout the day. I live on Pittsburgh’s Northside with a small, secure fenced-in yard, perfect for safe outdoor fun. Since I work from home full time, I can give your pet plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I have a small fenced-in yard in Pittsburgh’s Northside for safe outdoor breaks, plus I love getting out for longer walks with my dog, at least once a day. Pet care is part of my daily routine, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs. When pets stay with me, they’re treated like family. They’re welcome to relax on the furniture, nap on the couch, or sunbathe on the deck. I stick to their regular routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to help them feel comfortable and at home. I also have a baby gate to limit access to stairs for small dogs when needed. Since I work from home, I’m always nearby to give them the attention, care, and love they deserve.

About: Hi! I’m currently focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits, and I’m not offering boarding at the moment. I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while staying with me. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their dog is in good hands, so I always do my best to provide attentive and thoughtful care. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I’m more experienced with smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) and enjoy spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel at home. I’m always happy to schedule a meet & greet so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. Please feel free to reach out and tell me more about your pup — I’d love to meet them! I currently work 30 hours per week. I’m an early person so I’m happy to take pets to early walks! I am happy to walk your dog 3 times a day. Please chat with me! To ensure I can continue providing the highest standard of care to my clients, I have made the decision to limit my service to take care of one dog at a time I make sure I understand the needs from pet parents. Initially, I would ask pet parent to answer a list of questions I found helpful to know. For example, what’s the daily walking/sleeping/exercise/wasting routine. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.
“Bryce did a great job taking care of Niko on his morning walks while I was out of town. He was reliable, always on time, and kept me updated with pictures and texts, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely book with him again.”
