About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years, and I’ve always been the “animal aunt” that friends, family, and neighbors rely on. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, small animals, and even some shy or nervous pets, and I love learning each pet’s personality and what makes them feel safe and happy. I’m gentle, calm, and patient, which helps animals warm up quickly. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, litter box and cage cleaning, enrichment activities, and giving plenty of affection (or respectful space if your pet prefers that!). Expect lots of updates, happy tails, and peace of mind while you’re gone! I currently work part-time, so I have a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to do drop-ins, walks, and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. I make sure to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for so they get consistent attention, routine, and playtime. Your pet won’t be rushed or squeezed in — I give each animal the time and presence they deserve. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my first priority. I take time to understand their routine, personality, and any special needs before starting care. I’m respectful of your home and very detail-oriented when it comes to feeding instructions, medications, or behavior notes. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, I always move at their pace and create a calm, reassuring environment. I stay in touch with updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing.

About: I have had a family dogs for years, I have watched my friends dogs for about 2 years now! I have watched a few cats in my time as well! I work from home so being around your pet and taking care of them is easy for me! Having pets near me makes my work day better! I have a fenced in yard and live near a dog park! About: I have had many different breeds of dogs including terriers, pinschers, and my current dog Lulu the chihuahua. I am very patient with senior dogs. I have 2 dogs (a chihuahua and a chowchow puppy) and 1 cat. Working on training the puppy currently. My cat has FIV and has health problems from it. I am experienced in handling senior dogs and dogs that may need special attention. My dog is my best friend and not just my pet. I am always gentle and understanding with her. I am always attentive to her needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.

About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter. I am relatively new to Rover specifically, but am in my 40's and have cared for other people's pets for over 15 years, both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle where I am originally from. I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with lots of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days, but quite often it's only 4-6 hours that i am working. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.

About: I've lived with animals pretty much my entire life. I've had two dogs, two rats, a mouse, a ferret, and seven cats total. I often pet sit my friends and families dogs and cats and even guinea pigs and geckos. So while I don't have any trained professional experience in pet care, I do have an abundance of personal experience. I absolutely adore animals so I will do my best to treat yours with as much care as I have. This is my full time job so I will be available for all of my listed services every day of the week from 8 am - 10 pm preferably in day light hours. I am very flexible with my hours so I can prioritize your schedule. While walking your pet I will remain vigilant to ensure its safety. I will follow any rules/instructions given to me such as how/if to interact with other people/animals.

About: I’ve worked at a dog and cat boarding and daycare center for over three years, and have years of experience cat sitting for my neighbor. I’ve worked both in the kennel and daycare and have experience in different areas of animal care. As a recent graduate, I have more free time! About: I’ve had dogs since I was old enough to walk. I currently care for my own Husky-shepherd mix who I’ve had for his whole 9 years of life. I’m not afraid of any size or breed of dog and I’m certainly well versed in the high energy breed. Caring for dogs is second nature to me as I’ve never known life without one. I have genuine love and compassion for animals and treat every pet as if it’s my own. I also rely on pet sitting services for my trips and can empathize with the stress of finding someone trustworthy- they aren’t just pets they are family! I’ll be sure they get the family experience. About: I live on an acre of land with more than half of it being yard With more than half of it being Space. I am able to create a bond with animals by giving them affection, attention, and treats. For walking appointments, my schedule is flexible between 10 AM and 7 PM But I’m also available to to offer overnight boarding care and check-in. I like to keep them active, playing, and happy so they could have the best experience I have to offer. I also like to keep the clients informed,and send them pictures. I like to make sure your pet is in my sight so I could keep them safe.

About: My girlfriend and I love taking care of dogs! We have a large layout in our apartment for dogs to run around in and explore, but we also have a side yard with a chain that the dog can explore as well! We have lots of treats and would love to host your dogs! My girlfriend and I are moving to Austin so my schedule is very flexible right now. I am working as an uber driver right now until our lease is up in a few months! We have a completely separate office room in our apartment that your dogs can stay in. We have a dog bed and area for them to sleep as well as plenty of treats! Also a chain outside for them to run around and play with the toys with have for them!

I'm in college and looking to make some extra cash. I work around my class schedule, that is different day today. I'm able to watch or check in on pets throughout the day and night, and all weekends. I'm in school for theater so sometimes I do go through tech weeks that let me out very late at night, but when that happens, I'm still willing to check in on any pets! I believe in making sure your pets are fully safe and loved while you are away! I have no problem asking about what exactly is the regular routine of your pet to make sure they are the safest and most comfortable they can be without you.
