About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have two dogs named Bailey and Henry. They are 8 and 10 years old. I have a lot of experience with caring for dogs. I always watch my friends dogs when they go out of town. I have experience with giving medications such as pills or eardrops. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes and all breeds. I work from home so I am able to do drop-in visits at any point of the day or nights during the week or weekend. I have two large dogs of my own, so I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I will care for your dog by letting them outside if you have a fenced in yard, walking them, playing with them if they enjoy ball or tug, giving any medication’s needed, and filling their food and water.

About: I've always enjoyed being around animals, and over the years I've had the chance to care for both dogs and cats for family. I've watched my girlfriend's family's three senior cats (now 15, 14, and 21 years old) several times while they've been out of town, making sure they're fed, have fresh water, and keeping their litter boxes clean. Caring for a 21-year-old cat has taught me how important patience and consistency are with senior pets. I've also cared for my brothers' dogs—a 5-year-old Siberian Husky and a 7-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix—sometimes for several days at a time. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and giving them plenty of attention. I'm comfortable with high-energy dogs as well as older cats and always treat every pet like they're my own. I'm currently a full-time student finishing my last semester of college while working part time as a digital forensics intern. During the summer, my internship is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and I'm available for pet care anytime after my internship each day. Once the fall semester begins, my internship is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00 p.m. I'm also available most evenings and weekends, so I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work around you and your pet's needs. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or visiting them in theirs, I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and boundaries, so I never force attention or affection if they are not comfortable. I believe pets should be able to approach and interact on their own terms. I make sure their needs are met through feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, litter box cleaning, and plenty of patience. I always follow the owner's instructions and treat every pet with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

About: I am a current kennel attendant at Camp Bow Wow and a volunteer at Kitty Queen Cat Rescue for many years! I have plenty of experience with all ages and breeds of animals! I am completely available outside of my doggie daycare schedule! It does change weekly, but I don’t mind squeezing your pets into my schedule! I am very well educated on the love and care that our furbabies need to thrive! I pride myself in my commitment to building a trust filled relationship with every animal I come across!

About: I am a young professional violinist based in Pittsburgh, and I have spent many breaks home from school dog-sitting around my neighborhood. Whether it‘s walks or giving pets, being around animals brings me so much joy and I would love to keep dog-sitting while I build my career as a musician. As a gigging musician, I have a flexible schedule based around performances, lessons, and auditions. My schedule can vary week to week, but I am almost always squeeze in walks and drop-ins according to my daily availability. About: Hi!! My name is Taylor, and I am a very passionate animal lover:) I have two Frenchies and am an experienced foster Mom through East Coast Bulldog Rescue. I own a local cleaning company, and the best part of my job is all the pets I get to see! I grew up with cats and absolutely adore them. I am experienced with animals with medical needs, senior pets, I can administer any and all medication, and am not scared of a lengthy specific routine:) I am a brachycephalic dog specialist, so any dog or cat is in good hands with me. I treat every animal like they are my own, so cuddles and attention are to be expected when your pet is in my care. I own a local business, but due to my amazing employees I work 5 hours a week or less. Animals are my life, so a typical day for me revolves around hanging out with my pups and relaxing on our balcony/playing with their toys/going for walks! I live in a big two story home, but have fences at the stairs to prevent any pups going up or down unattended. I do not have a fenced in yard, but my next door neighbor does (they have no kids or pets), and I have full access to that yard. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, and love to push my pups in their stroller in the evenings! If I am staying in your home, I will adhere to any and all restrictions or safety practices you have in place for your pets.

About: For more than 10 years, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I care for dogs by feeding, walking, and supporting their daily needs. I have been a lifelong dog owner and have developed a strong understanding of their care and behavior. I currently have two dogs: a dachshund and a medium-sized Labrador/Pit Bull mix. Spending time with dogs is something I enjoy, and caring for them is rewarding. Their companionship brings me a great deal of happiness. I currently work full-time and am available during the evenings. Beginning in the fall, I will also be attending school, so my availability will vary depending on the day. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, especially playing with their favorite toys. We often play fetch outside and enjoy relaxing together in the sunshine.

About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter. I am relatively new to Rover specifically, but am in my 40's and have cared for other people's pets for over 15 years, both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle where I am originally from. I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with lots of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days, but quite often it's only 4-6 hours that i am working. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.
