About: Love to walk and hike, have one lovable six year lab mix that is super friendly and still thinks he's young and would love to take your dog out. I am busy most of the day but am able to house sit and/or walk your dog rain/snow or shine alone or with my lab mix. I have a six year old lab mix that could stay home, or can walk with your dog on walks/hikes. My dog loves everyone and other dogs.

I am very active so long walks are my favorite and I have a soft spot for old animals. I communicate very well. The standards I have for the care of my pets is exceptionally high and I provide that same experience for every pet I take care. I currently work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am available to do check ins or walks multiple times a day, if needed, and also have weekend availability. I am a big fan of communication(and photos!) but am trustworthy and reliable enough that you can also be out of service and rely on me to take care of things.

About: An active member of 4H since I was 8 years old I have regularly taken care of Horses, Goats, Chickens and Dogs. I've been professionally employed as a dog/home sitter since 2004 with rave reviews. Total pet wellness is very important to me as I take my commitments to animals seriously (with the intent to have a lot of fun and play as well). I regularly trim dog nails for friends and family and have been training dogs for the past 14 years. My dog is 13 years old, in excellent health and is frequently used to assist in training puppies (she's a great communicator). I have a clear and intuitive understanding of animals and animal behavior. 9/25/2022 Update - My books are currently open to new clients for daily drop-ins, walks and day care. I work part-time, from home and create a stimulating daily environment for my dog and any dogs I am responsible for (I only take one client at a time). Regular daily activities include indoor and outdoor sniffari's, daily training, multiple daily play sessions, 1-2 walks per day, and 1-3 hikes per week. Pet care is my daily and weekly routine! I own a condo in which dogs must be leashed and immediately picked up after. The first outdoor adventure starts at 5-6am and the last outdoor adventure ends between 9-11pm. We walk/hike 1-2 times per day and my dog, Nova, is always with me. When I care for pets in a clients home I adhere to the schedule they are accustomed too and incorporate more play and exercise as the dog is able. My goal is to have a dog that is happy to see their owner but would also be happy to continue living with me!
