“Saturdays and Sundays are our longest days away from the house so we hired Wendy to come and break the time up for our three dogs by letting them out in the backyard to relieve themselves and just have some human contact. Two of our three dogs are not very sociable. Toby, for some unknown reason was being uncooperative but Wendy took it all in stride.”

About: I’ve taken care of puppies and dogs practically my whole life. From walking shelter dogs for school community service to watching after friends and family pets while they’re away, I have walked/fed/bathed all sorts loving boys and girls. I’ve also fostered puppies before they went off to their forever homes. I have experience in all types of care. I work from home on a pretty flexible schedule so I am able to walk your pet at any time of day or night and can board all throughout the week as long as I have notice. I like to take care of pets as if they’re my own and part of the family. Walks, fetch, snuggles, you name it. I have bowls and a crate available within my own home and capable of following any diet and/or exercise needs instructed by an owner.

About: What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each pet’s personality and needs while making them feel comfortable and cared for. For example, I regularly walk an energetic, playful puppy who needs both stimulation and calm guidance. I’m able to give him the attention he craves while helping him release his energy in a positive way. I’ve also walked a dog who typically never poops during the day, but after spending time with me, she felt relaxed and comfortable enough to start doing so on our walks, a small but meaningful sign of trust. Whether it’s an energetic puppy, a shy senior, or a pet with unique habits, I focus on building trust, understanding their needs, and making every walk or visit safe, enjoyable, and tailored to them. I have a flexible schedule, with daily openings outside my mid-day walks. I’m available for pet care in the mornings, early afternoons, and some evenings each week. I care for every dog as if they were my own, making sure each walk is safe, enjoyable, and tailored to their needs. I follow your instructions closely, whether that’s a favorite route, specific pace, or special commands. Along the way, I give plenty of attention, play, and positive reinforcement so your dog comes home happy, exercised, and relaxed.

“Lucy is fantastic. She went above and beyond taking care of our 2 cats. Everything was perfect when we came back. She even grabbed our packages for us. Can’t thank her enough and would def book her again.”

“Neshie is a very responsible person! She communicated with me proactively, came to check on my cat in advance, and asked about important things to note. My cat looks happy and well.”

About: I’ve taken care of a puppy that was new to the family. We practiced training everyday. I also take care of my friend’s pitbull when needed for a walk or play time and grooming. I have time to spend with new fluffy friends. This can be a great opportunity to go outside more and take a new pal with me every time. We can exchange important information I’ll need to know for their care like their behavior and favorite scratch spots. If they aren’t friendly towards other dogs or people knowing in advance is important.

“Melissa is a life saver!! My cat was in great hands with her taking care of him while I was away for a few days. She's kind and understanding and does a wonderful job.”

About: I've been lucky enough to have dogs in my life since I was a kid. Our first dog was Charlie the Poodle, followed by several Pekinese pups Molly, Chang & Oliver. As a teenager I had a full blooded Chow Chow! (purple tongue!) Later in life I moved to NYC and unfortunately couldn't handle owning my own dog with a busy work schedule, but as time goes on and with a more relaxed work schedule, I know have the time to work with pups in my area! I do help out with my friends dogs at times. One in particular (Wendy the Boston Terrier) is a senior pup who requires special care. She's nearly 90% blind but you wouldn't know it by her tail wag! I work from home most days and would love to help pups in my community. I have a special bond with with them since i was a kid. I’ll treat your home like my own. I’ll respect your space and follow your instructions clearly so we have a safe and comfortable pet session

“We are super thankful for Shay & her amazing care of our cat Jeter. She is caring, attentive & responsive. She provided us with peace of mind while we were away. 100% rebooking.”
