“Peter was wonderful in taking care of our Edith, many pictures and videos. He actually cares about the animals he takes care of and the people of the animals too.”

“Jaime was punctual and very easy to work with! She came to meet our pup beforehand and we showed her the ropes! She even sent me a video of her playing with our dog. I would definitely recommend this app and Jaime to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Thanks Jaime!”

“I can’t recommend Ashley highly enough!!! She clearly has a passion for animals. She went above and beyond our expectations with our dogs. She was so patient with our puppy who is still leaning his manners and how to regulate his puppy energy. Ashley is a gem!”

“Marya was very sweet with our dogs and made sure that they were taken care of while we were out of town for the day. Our dog Roscoe is sometimes nervous with new people dropping in when we’re gone so Marya came to meet them the day before. We really appreciated knowing they were well taken care of via updates, it allowed us to enjoy visiting family and not have to worry.”

About: Hi! My name is Abigail, and I’m 24 years old. I’ve been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always felt like second nature to me. I have experience working with a wide range of pets, including dogs of all energy levels—from high-energy breeds that need structure and engagement to calm, easygoing companions like golden retrievers—as well as cats with a variety of personalities. I’m comfortable adapting my care to meet each animal’s unique needs. I currently offer in-home pet sitting, providing attentive care in your pet’s familiar environment so they can remain comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I also provide basic training support and walking assistance, especially for owners who may need extra help keeping their pets active and well cared for. I’m open to caring for other animals as well, such as birds or reptiles, as long as clear instructions are provided to ensure their routines and needs are met properly. With availability during the second half of my week, I’m excited to grow my pet-sitting business long term. My goal is to earn trust, build strong relationships with both pets and owners, and eventually turn my passion for animal care into a full-time career. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I look forward to connecting with interested pet owners and would be happy to answer any questions. Wishing you a wonderful day! I currently work the first half of the week but am available after 4 PM on Wednesdays and anytime from Thursday through Saturday. With this flexibility, I’m able to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets during my off days. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I closely follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions provided by the owner. I keep a clean, pet-safe space, supervise pets at all times, and never introduce new animals without permission. In a client’s home, I respect their space and ensure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure. I pay close attention to pets’ body language and behavior to keep them comfortable and stress free. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so owners can feel confident and at ease while they’re away.
About: I grew up with family dogs and frequently interacted with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments at friends and neighbors homes. I have been honored with the trust of my friends, family, and coworkers in the caretaking of their dogs (and cats), often when they are out of town or when experiencing disruptions to their schedules. I have provided care to elder dogs needing medications and help with mobilization; to puppies needing active play, behavioral consistency, and clean-up; and also to dogs with separation anxiety and other behavioral tendencies like food aggression. I often receive requests on short notice to provide pet care and am glad to provide relief to those needing the peace of mind having their pet's needs met. While I am not certified to provide behavioral training to dogs, I am more than willing to reinforce training(s) that a dog may be working on or have established with their owners. I am available Monday-Friday most weeks and can provide drop-by visits for pets starting at 6 PM until 9 PM most days. I can typically work in about 4 visits per day. My highly flexible schedule allows me to adapt day-of to those needing to adjust their plans. I respect each client's home as if it were my own. I am attentive to details and leave client spaces the way I found them. I am mindful of cleaning up after pets and will dispose of pet waste as soon as I am aware of it. I approach animals in a unprovoking manner and pay attention to their reactions to maintain a fear free environment. I am responsive and communicative and make sure to coordinate with clients to provide the desired care to their pets, discuss emergency procedures, and provide updates on the services that I'm providing.
About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.

“Elyse was fantastic with my 2 dogs. She sent pictures after every visit. The pictures showed my dogs were being well taken care of. If I need a sitter again, it will definitely be Elyse.”

“While we were away for Christmas Kimberly came over twice a day to check on our cat S'more. He is a blind senior cat and she went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of while we were away. She was amazing! We are so thankful!”

About: I understand that pets have more than food and exercise needs and deserve and need stimulation, play and company, not just rigid mileage — that’s what sets me apart from other walkers. I have worked with puppies, kittens, and senior animals. I am working remotely and have a flexible schedule where I have a lot of autonomy over when I take breaks to go outside and such My personal philosophy when entering someone’s home is to protect their privacy and provide peace of mind that their pets and home are in good hands. I focus on the small details that build trust—following lighting instructions (turning lights off, or leaving a porch light on if requested), returning keys exactly where they were found, and double-checking that faucets are fully off before I leave.
“Stef is always very helpful when we need someone to watch our pets! She is easy to communicate with and fast to respond. She always sends us videos or pictures during her visits. We've booked with her multiple times! She's even gone above and beyond doing other things while she's here for her visits (grab mail etc) Thank you Stef!”

“Nelle has consistently been a good friend and a reliable care taker for our temperamental and shy fur babies. She took the time to learn their personalities and gain their trust, and has gone above and beyond each visit. Nelle is the best and we love her!”

“Christina is awesome. She is very professional, punctual, seems to really love pets. She sent awesome photos of the pets. I will definitely use her again. Five stars!”

Gabrielle is a dream pet sitter. She was responsive and communicative throughout the booking process. Her photo and video updates were invaluable as it gave us peace of mind that our kitty was well taken care of while we were traveling. We highly recommend Gabrielle!

This was our first time having anyone watch our dog. He’s terrified of everyone. We have not had him at a kennel either, so we were a bit nervous. Our dog was friendly with Cassie right when she came to meet him! She was great and we know our dog was well cared for. We will definitely hire her again!

Amy was wonderful with our kitties on our long road trip. We felt pretty guilty leaving them, but she sent us pictures and updates every day. Made me feel better having them in her hands! She also took care of little things around the house - taking the trash out, mail, and kept an eye on the fish tanks.

Raelin is fantastic! Super swift response to every and any questions, excellent with my shy and under socialized 1.5 year old grump of a puppy, and gentle with my little old man. I could tell her approach was kind and careful--both pups responded very well to her and I felt very confident leaving my little ones and my home under her care. She even asked about feeding my tank full of state-fair goldfish, and was kind enough to 'put them to bed' by flipping off their light! She comes with my highest recommendation. Thanks so very much for helping us take a MUCH-NEEDED vacation, Raelin!
