I am experienced at caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and energy levels. Handling more than one dog on walks or sittings is also easy peasy! My specialized training enables me to safely administer medicine and I have an eagle eye when it comes to monitoring health issues. Pets are an important part of the family and I do not take that lightly! I am prepared to handle any weather Duluth throws my way! About: I recently moved to Duluth and while I'm loving settling into a new place, I'm desperately missing the time I used to spend with my parents' dogs (a golden retriever and a yellow lab). I was always around dogs growing up, as many as two or three in the house at a time sometimes, and still take advantage of any chance I can get to spend time around dogs - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, any dogs! I have two cats of my own - I've moved around a lot the last several years and some of the places I lived were better suited for cats than dogs, otherwise I'd have a dog as well by this point. I commute two days a week to teach at a community college on the Iron Range, leaving my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays-Sundays very free and flexible. I'd love to help you take care of your little loves (cats or dogs - or any other pets, really, if you're willing to teach me a bit about it!) whenever you find yourself in a spot where you can't be in two places at once or need the extra set of hands! I teach at a college on the Iron Range on Tuesdays and Thursdays - outside of some travel to see family back in Grand Rapids, my Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends are very open at the moment. I have my own vehicle and can get around easily - I'm also more than happy to transport dogs to walking trails in my own vehicle.
