About: I have grown up with animals all my life and love to be in the company of them! My first job was working for my neighbor who trained k9 search and rescue dogs. She had many other types of dogs I got to work with as well. So I am very comforted around animals and enjoying getting to spend time with them! I have a full time job 8-4:30 so I am looking for some part time work I would be able to do after 4:30 and some weekends! I would be doing drop in visits, so whatever your expectations in your environment were for your pet, would of course be more than happy to follow.

About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.
About: I’ve loved all sorts of animals since I was a young kid. From begging my parents for a puppy since I could speak, and going to friend’s houses who had pets, I always found a way to surround myself with animals. I have two dogs and two cats at home, who each have different energy levels. I love tending to the needs of all different ages and types of animals, whether that means going on a long walk or playing fetch, or giving some nice snuggles and pets for calmer animals. As a college student, I love to take a break from the daily grind and reconnect with other people and animals! I am free sporadically through the day to check in with your furry friend, take a walk, and attune to their other needs as described by you. Ultimately, how I care for your pet depends on what you are most comfortable with and what the unique needs of your pet are. I have experience with crating my own dogs at home, and am more than comfortable doing that and taking any extra measures in your home that would make you feel even more comfortable leaving me with your pet! I also enjoy clean up spaces if that's something you're comfortable with.
About: I specialize in large dog breeds as I have 1 Pyrenees and 1 golden retriever myself. They are both very well trained and certified ESA’s. I don’t have any special skills such as pet training, just really good with dogs. I am a full time nurse and I’m off every other week. I would love to take/walk dogs on my weeks off. I have always had a dog in my family. I’d love to hang out with your furry friends! I have two big loving dogs to keep yours company. We will spend a lot of time outside hiking and going for walks! If your pet is not staying at my house we will still have fun going for runs, walks, or being outside.

About: I’ve had a pet my whole life so I’ve grown up knowing how to to care of dogs. I have taken care of senior dogs and also puppies so no matter the age I can manage! I have had about 3 years of experience on this app so I know how it works and I’ve done plenty of bookings! I am currently a full-time student at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and I am a part of a sorority. My schedule is pretty flexible. I do have classes during the day and I sometimes have events I need to attend but I am able to house sit, drop in, or walk at almost any time unless my calendar says otherwise. I will give the dog/a plenty of attention and make sure they are well taken care of. I’ll get them outside at least once a day and bathe them if needed. If there’s any other additional services your dog needs I will happily provide it for them.

About: I'm Ashley. 29 years old. I have 7-8 years of experience sitting dogs. I give them my full attention at all times. I will play with them, and walk them. I will make sure they are fed, and hydrated! I'm a big animal lover! Most dogs that I've sat in the past loved me, and my attention I gave them. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
