About: Hi there! I have decades of animal care experience both personal and professional and look forward to providing your pet with stellar care, attention, and love (if they prefer). I take pet care seriously and will tend to your pet the same way I would my own. Though I made a career switch from working with animals in a professional capacity I remain knowledgeable and continue to petsit for others and care for my own pets. I have personally owned a variety of pets including cats and dogs. About: I’ve had pets of my own since I was 5. Mainly dogs and cats, but I’ve cared for birds, turtles, frogs, and fish too. I love all breeds and sizes. I also have worked in a professional dog training facility and learned so much about dog behaviors. My entire life is based around my pets and the care they need. Whether it is hiking with the dogs, finding new ways to give them mental stimulation, or finding ways to keep my cats entertained (especially my orange boy). About: I’ve taken care of my brothers pitbull and my mom’s Argentinian dogo on and off for the last six years and I love it! I’ve always loved taking care of animals, in a different life I would have been a vet! I’m new to the are and moved here to be a co manager at a clothing store. I work full time as a manager at a clothing store, but have two days off during the week and usually time before or after a shift to help as well. About: I've been taking care of pets for 6 years and have 4 pets currently. Bluto (olde english bulldogge), Ruby (rottweiler), Tibby (siamese), and Molly (longhair). I do have experience with senior cats and dogs. We can talk a long walk on nature trails, or we can go for a slow stroll around the neighborhood! I only do gig work, so my schedule can fit around whatever your needs are. If something ever changes, you can always reach out and we'll work something out. For drop ins, I'll stop in and make sure theres no potty mess and if your kitty wants to we can play with whatever toys are available. I have lots of pet caregiving experience, I often will take care of my friends puppy while she is out of town. As a full time student I have classes throughout the day. Monday, and Friday I am available anytime after 2:30pm. Tuesdays I am available all day, I have no classes that day. Wednesday and Thursday I typically get out of class at 5:00pm, so anytime after 5:30pm I am available. Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings I am typically available as well. At home I have a semi-unfenced yard. My backyard area is for the most part blocked off with my garage, my neighbors garage, and my backyard neighbors fence. I do however have a leash out front that I can attach to a post/hold while letting them outside. My roommates dog I mentioned previously is not staying at our home currently, so there are no other pets to worry about. I have a doggy gates, poop bags, toys, dog treats, and dog bowls! In any clients home, or mine, I will adhere to the rules in which they like to care for their furry friend!
About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
