About: From St Bernards to Yorkies we have sat for a wide variety of pets. Our family, including Banjo the Beagle would love to host your pup. We are conveniently situated in The Lincoln Park Craft District- 2 blocks away from the trail and daily trail walks are an important part of our routine. My daily routine consists of 2 miles of dog walking- at least. As a teacher I am off in the summer, so I have lots of time to spend with your pup. During the school year I work nearby by and could cruise home for a midday potty break at lunch-as needed. I have a very social 4 year old dog to keep your pet entertained. I live very near excellent dog walking trails. If you have a social dog we love dog park trips.

About: I am currently a LVT (licensed veterinary technician) since 2020. I can medicate animals and help pets with special needs. I grew up with animals and have lots of experience working with them daily. I am a full time licensed vet tech. I have one day off a week that varies and I am available after 5:30 during the work week and available some weekends! I can stop by on weekends to care for your best friend and take them on walks after work or exercise them once a week for a longer period of time.

About: I have owned cats my entire life. My very first pet was a Siamese cat named Emma that I got for Christmas when I was 7 years old. Since then I have owned pretty much every breed of cat throughout my lifetime. I have owned mama cats, and kittens. I have no problem cleaning litter boxes and have no allergies.

“Patty is the absolute best. Our boy is reactive, and when we had family visit, we needed a place for him to stay during the day to avoid the stress of having strangers (to him) in the house. Oh my goodness I cannot say enough good things about his stay! She was so flexible with timing, which was great since our dinners and activities were very variable. She gave us lots of pictures, followed his lead on if/when he wanted to meet new dogs, and he was so excited to see her every day! She was responsive, kind, and the big yard to run around in was so so good for him. Patty is very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs, and asked all the questions that made me feel like she was going to handle our dog well. About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.

I am able to administer medications and general care as specified. I also offer nail/claw trims for dogs and cats for $20. Just check the bathing/grooming box. I prioritize play, so even drop ins will get plenty of entertainment! Supervised puzzle feeds, or playing with favorite toys, or whatever pops up in the moment. Pup-led play is usually the most fun! My schedule is fairly open most of the time, but I am going to be starting trade school to become a barefoot specialist for equines sometime in 2026. I need a flexible work schedule so I can trim my case study horses, and the horses I already trim for a friend. - REGARDING OVERNIGHT STAYS! My rates are for ONE 12 hr overnight visit. “Christina, was very accommodating when we had an emergency family funeral to attend. The initial planned day was for a meet & greet but we needed emergency care for Willow & thankfully she had room. She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. Thank you again for accepting Willow especially under the circumstances.”

About: From St Bernards to Yorkies we have sat for a wide variety of pets. Our family, including Banjo the Beagle would love to host your pup. We are conveniently situated in The Lincoln Park Craft District- 2 blocks away from the trail and daily trail walks are an important part of our routine. My daily routine consists of 2 miles of dog walking- at least. As a teacher I am off in the summer, so I have lots of time to spend with your pup. During the school year I work nearby by and could cruise home for a midday potty break at lunch-as needed. I have a very social 4 year old dog to keep your pet entertained. I live very near excellent dog walking trails. If you have a social dog we love dog park trips.
“We boarded our dog Astro with Kaylee for two weeks in October. She took excellent care of him, and he clearly was fond of Kaylee and David, and felt very comfortable staying with them. About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
