About: Hi there! I have decades of animal care experience both personal and professional and look forward to providing your pet with stellar care, attention, and love (if they prefer). I take pet care seriously and will tend to your pet the same way I would my own. Though I made a career switch from working with animals in a professional capacity I remain knowledgeable and continue to petsit for others and care for my own pets. I have personally owned a variety of pets including cats and dogs. I have a soft spot for senior and special needs pets and also have a long-term chicken sitting position as well :) I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting your pet soon! Im a lifelong pet owner and lover and have recently found myself with a much emptier and quiet home so I am hoping to fill that void with getting to spend time your pets :). I work 2 regular jobs but look forward to having fun with your pets in my spare time I will treat your pets as dearly as I'd treat my own, I have a childless quiet home with no other pets and many years of experience both professionally and personally to provide your pet with a safe and fun experience.

About: Hello! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with dogs since I was a young girl. I was privileged enough to have the opportunity to watch puppies grow up and see them through their training classes. Here I learned the basics on how to train puppies, as well as how to potty train them. Not only have I worked with puppies, but I have also had the pleasure of working with senior dogs who are closer to their end of life. I understand these dogs need to take it slower and be more careful with their bodies. I have given medications to dogs before in the form of pills, I am able to apply ointments if needed as well. My managers have had me watch their two dogs every time they go out of town for the past couple of years and I have had experience stopping by other coworkers, friends and families houses before to check in on animals and watch them for a day or two. I believe that my experience working with a large mix of dog breeds (e.g., bichon frises, terriers, corgis, golden retrievers, labs, dobermans, mastiffs and bernese mountain dogs) has given me the knowledge to know every dog is different and requires different care. I intent to give this utmost care to your animal while also showing them respect and warmth. Your animals having the most fun time and gaining a new friend will just be a plus to the excellent care I will give. I have a bit of an odd schedule where I have my mornings and afternoons free. Because of this, I am usually available from 5am-3pm and then I am available again by 9/10pm and after at nights. This allows me to take care of animals in the morning and afternoon, feed them and take them for their walks. Then by evening, I can do a nightly feeding if that is on their schedule, and play with them for a bit before they head to bed for the night. I truly believe this gives dogs a beneficial schedule of having company for most of the day and then having some alone time for the evening before receiving that company for the night again. When it comes to animals in my home (I don’t like using “pets” because they are our equals) I give them the utmost care. I usually wake up when they wake up and will take them potty first, feed after and then usually another potty after feeding. Then it is walk time, and then we rest for bit. Next comes a bit of rest and play routine where I will play with the animals if they show interest and then let them rest when they want alone time. Before I head to work for the evening, I will potty again and usually feed dinner for the day. Once I am home for the night, I potty the animal and then play for a bit until they are tired. That is when I will do my night routine. When it comes to taking care of your animals, they might not require the whole 9 yards. Whether or not that is the case, I will be able to accommodate mostly any animals routine and keep it as similar as possible to the routine mom and/or dad have them on.

About: From St Bernards to Yorkies we have sat for a wide variety of pets. Our family, including Banjo the Beagle would love to host your pup. We are conveniently situated in The Lincoln Park Craft District- 2 blocks away from the trail and daily trail walks are an important part of our routine. My daily routine consists of 2 miles of dog walking- at least. As a teacher I am off in the summer, so I have lots of time to spend with your pup. During the school year I work nearby by and could cruise home for a midday potty break at lunch-as needed. I have a very social 4 year old dog to keep your pet entertained. I live very near excellent dog walking trails. If you have a social dog we love dog park trips.

About: I’ve watched dogs, cats and birds before! No matter the animal I’d love to take care of them so you’re able to enjoy your time away! I’m currently back at CSS as a graduate student pursuing education. With that, I am able to accommodate for bathroom preferences, and spending as much time possible together. I will always do my best to make time for people and animals who need it! In my spare time I love to crochet, which is easily transportable! I will stick to any instructions I am given! About: I’ve loved all sorts of animals since I was a young kid. From begging my parents for a puppy since I could speak, and going to friend’s houses who had pets, I always found a way to surround myself with animals. I have two dogs and two cats at home, who each have different energy levels. I love tending to the needs of all different ages and types of animals, whether that means going on a long walk or playing fetch, or giving some nice snuggles and pets for calmer animals. As a college student, I love to take a break from the daily grind and reconnect with other people and animals! I have a very flexible schedule, and can work with many different needs at this point in my life! I’m a student at UMD with a part time job and a flexible schedule! I am free sporadically through the day to check in with your furry friend, take a walk, and attune to their other needs as described by you. I am even more free in the evenings throughout the week to provide sitting for your animals in your home, or the same services I described earlier. Weekends are a great time to contact me too because I am frequently available to look after your pet(s). Ultimately, how I care for your pet depends on what you are most comfortable with and what the unique needs of your pet are. I have experience with crating my own dogs at home, and am more than comfortable doing that and taking any extra measures in your home that would make you feel even more comfortable leaving me with your pet! I also enjoy clean up spaces if that's something you're comfortable with.

About: I have over 20 years of professional experience working with pets and have had family pets my entire life. I have extensive knowledge of dog and cat care, including medicating, basic training, and senior care including diabetes injections. I have worked in vet boarding and pet sales at both local and corporate retailers for over 20 years. Pets have always been a part of my life, dogs, cats, fish, reptiles/amphibians, birds, small animals, poultry, and small livestock have all been a part of my family! I currently have a young dog, 2 senior cats, an ancient turtle, and many aquariums. I am also a plant lover and am happy to care for your photosynthetic friends as well! I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule to care for your pets! I have a reliable vehicle and dedicated work ethic. The comfort and safety of your pets will be my priority during visits. My own pets are treated with compassion and dignity, I strive to treat all animals this way. I am extremely observant of environmental factors involving safety. Did I latch the gate and lock the door? Absolutely, I double check every time I let my own dog outside even when I am certain the gate is closed. I will notice subtle changes in your pets behavior after I get to know them. I have extensive care for pets experiencing UTIs, seizures, diabetes, allergies, and other age relates illnesses. Your home is your sanctuary and your pets are family, both will be treated with respect and concern.

About: I’ve taken care of my brothers pitbull and my mom’s Argentinian dogo on and off for the last six years and I love it! I’ve always loved taking care of animals, in a different life I would have been a vet! I’m new to the are and moved here to be a co manager at a clothing store. I’m hoping to fill my extra time with taking care of furry family members! I work full time as a manager at a clothing store, but have two days off during the week and usually time before or after a shift to help as well. I can only help animals in the home of their own parents, but can follow instructions and will do anything to help and take care of your pet.
