“Our dog Foxy had a brief stay with Nathan & Laura and had much needed play time with a couple other pups and came home smiling and exhausted from her visit. Thank you!”

“Heather is amazing! She’s so kind and always goes above and beyond for my dog, Reka. She even carved a pumpkin for her this time! I really appreciate the regular updates and photos, and Reka gets multiple walks every day. Her sons also play with Reka, which she absolutely loves. Always a great experience with Heather — highly recommend!”

“Jamie took great care of Opie, as usual. She sent many updates to ease our minds as he stayed with her shortly after a dental procedure. Opie loves to stay with Jamie!”

“Christina, was very accommodating when we had an emergency family funeral to attend. The initial planned day was for a meet & greet but we needed emergency care for Willow & thankfully she had room. She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. Thank you again for accepting Willow especially under the circumstances.”

“Nicole was awesome! Super good with communication and keeping us updated on how our pup was doing. Also Nicole was super flexible and very kind when our plans got shifted due to a flight cancellation. I highly recommend you book Nicole for all your pet sitting needs. We’re so happy that we knew our dog was in good hands and Nicole made sure we never had to worry about anything with our pup through our whole vacation.”

“Patty took great care of our dogs and was flexible when a family emergency made us later getting back to town than expected. Huge fenced yard and the boys came back exhausted so we know they had a good time. Thank you!”

“Kelli and her daughter Maddie were just great watching our big poodle for a few days. Very informative with updates each day and very accommodating when we had a delayed flight. Highly recommended and will certainly use again.”

“Lori is amazing. We are newer to the area, so this was our first time. She made Jasper part of the family with lots of love and attention. Great at communicating and sharing pics.”

“Kylee and her partner David were wonderful with our dog, Rusty! I could tell right away that they would be a good fit and that I could trust them. They provided updates and pictures which helped me feel at ease while I was away. Rusty got lots of cuddles and even got to go on a hike with them, which he loves to do! I will definitely be reaching out to Kylee any time I need someone to watch our pup.”

“Shiloh and her family took such great care of Pico and Maggie so we could enjoy the weekend with extended family and friends as we celebrated graduation. Thanks for the kind and excellent care.”

“As always, Jai had a fantastic time with Amber. She will take care of your pet like her own. You can relax and go on your vacation and even forget you have a pet (like I did 🙈)”

“Lisa took great care of our dog while we were away. She was always prompt with communication and also kept us updated with pics and videos (but not an overwhelming amount of them). Opie returned home worn out from playing with His new furry pals. He also returned mysteriously smelling like a newly-groomed dog....:) We will definitely look to Lisa for future care for our pooch while we are away.”

About: I have two chocolate labs at home. I have cared for these dogs for 8+ years, and I have also dog-sat plenty of my neighbors', community members', friends', and relatives’ dogs over the years. I love to adventure with my dogs, but I can accommodate whatever adventure means for each dog, based on ability and the owner's desire. Also, I have done training with my oldest dog, have experience giving medication upon the owner's instructions, and have sat with quite sick dogs (my attentiveness to needs in this department is high). Overall, excited to sit for you! And let me know if you have further questions for me! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to devote to your pups! I’m available for watching on both weekends and weekdays when you need my help! I will have work throughout the week, but I can pick up times to watch as my schedule is flexible. I spend a lot of time with my dogs when they go outside, and I walk/run them every day. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I also have experience ensuring owners’ dogs receive their medications and the correct dosages. Overall, I can adjust to all your pup’s needs!
“Sammie loved staying with Casey! She was happy to see us when we picked her up but obviously very comfortable with her new friend while we were away. Would have her stay there again! Thanks, Casey!”

“Very attentive and responsive. Sent pics of my pup all weekend and made sure I was updated with everything going on. Picking up and dropping off was a breeze! I’d highly recommend Kate :)”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
