Ethan J.

“He took our Luna the Great Dane in on short notice for us. We got pictures and updates of her making new human and dog friends! Was so heart warming to see her settled in with them. She must have enjoyed her stay she passed out and slept like a champion the first night back home. I would definitely leave Luna again with them to care for her.”

Nathan & Laura R.

“Laura & Nathan were fantastic! Bandit had an amazing time with them. We loved all the pictures they sent letting us know Bandit was having a great time.”

Aneesa & Ethan T.

“Great experience for our doggies!”

Nelle R.

“Nelle is the BEST!!! She watched our pup for the weekend and he was so calm and happy when we picked him up:) She took him for multiple walks on Park Point, to the dog park, and gave him tons of attention and snuggles. (Sent us snuggle pics too?) In the past, we’ve boarded him at kennels and he comes home pretty anxious and stressed, so we were looking for something a little more personal and homey. I’ve NEVER seen him so happy and relaxed after a weekend away from home…I can’t recommend Nelle highly enough!! 5 stars isn’t enough! Thank you, Nelle!!”

Patty S.

“Patty is fantastic! My animals were so happy, and especially loved the huge fenced yard. Really, really appreciated Patty’s flexibility and the ease of communication!”

Emmily & Dustin G.

“Emmily and Dustin were super great with my pup, Winnie. I got many photo updates and could reach them at any time. They are true dog lovers, and Winnie will definitely be staying with them again on my next trip!”

Christina B.

“Christina was great! She communicated clearly and professionally. Her training in veterinary science made it clear that she is a skilled expert in dog care and behaviors. Her space is perfect for big dogs that need space to run. Our dog came home happy and healthy.”

Sheryl & Stephen S.

“Wow! Sheryl and husband were phenomenal as caregivers for our dog Zoey! For sure Sheryl is a 'dog whisperer'. She also keeps a horse and trains them too and we have no doubt that she is a 'horse wihisperer, too!. We describe her as a 'dog whisperer' because Zoey ALWAYS wails and barks when one or both of us leave the house, even if it is only to spend 10-15 minutes in the yard. Both times we left Zoey with Sheryl, she didn't even seem to care and inside followed Cheyl as she walked away. The Simmons were very attentive to our and Zoey's needs. They were very kind and very friendly with us and Zoey. Since Sheryl works from home, Zoey got a LOT of attention. In fact, we held a groom's party at a local brew pub and we ran into Sheryl and her husband just there to get a pizza and beer. They took Zoey with them so she wouldn't be alone at home even though they were only gone for a couple of hours. We were totally awestruck! I would highly recommend them. Unfortunately, this was a one-of-a-kind situation as we live 130 miles away and this is most likely the only time we'd travel to their city and stay multiple nights during which Zoey couldn't be with us. We know people that have dogs that might travel to their area to ski at one of the areas ski resorts and may need dog sitters so we will recommend the Simmons to them.”

Chase E.
“We brought our two labs to stay for an overnight in town while we were in Duluth. Prior to our stay chase was very communicative and wanted to ensure he had all the info needed prior to our stay. Chase took good care of both our labs. They were happy and content. And you can tell chase really cares about animals and their well-being. When Berkley got I’ll, chase made sure to follow up and ensure he was ok.”

Casey W.

“Casey was so great with my Frenchie! He was very attentive and sent lots of updates throughout her visit. She was exhausted and had so much fun at his house.”

Austin A.

“Austin wad great with Leo. Very flexible and welcoming. He also gave Leo plenty of needed exercise throughout the week. We'll definitely have Leo back!”

Rachel A.

“Sophie had a great 2 night stay on the farm! She's still exhausted from playing with all her new friends. I was a little nervous leaving my pup for the first time but Rachel sent loads of pics and kept me in the loop. Thanks so much Rachel! Highly recommend!”

Amber Z.
About: I've taken care of all sorts of animals since I could walk. My parents used to breed shelties and I would help leash train them. I have owned rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, cockatiels, guinea pigs, cats, dogs and ferrets, many at the same time. While I was in the military I assisted in the training of military working dogs. After the military I got my certification to train dogs in basic obedience using positive reinforcement. I am currently attending online classes and caring for my children in the evening so I have plenty of daytime hours that I can dedicate to keeping your best friend company. I also have little helpers (my 12-year-old and 8-year-old) to assist with play time and walks in the evenings. We are available every day during the week and many times in the evening. You just let us know what works best for you. I would care for the animals in the clients' homes following the family's established routine for their animals to the best of my ability. If the animals were to come to my home, then we would try to follow the established routine to the best of my family's ability. We would include all boarding dogs on our many outings with lots of potty breaks. I would also work on any basic dog training behaviors that the owners would request of me. We have a small fence that encloses my front yard and a tie out lead to help prevent escapes during our outdoor supervised yard time. Upon request I could bring my dog for puppy play dates if that is feasible.

Kate W.

“Kate was amazing! This was my first time leaving Nala with anyone but family. I was slightly anxious about it. Kate reassured me and sent me multiple updates with photos and videos to calm my nerves. Nala adjusted amazingly with her. We will gladly send Nala back to stay with Kate any time.”

Ashley M.

“Ashley’s services are a perfect match for our family. Flexible with dates and times, other dogs to socialize with, and easy going drop off/pick up very near to the main road. Thank you!”

Renee & John C.

“Our usual dog sitter was unavailable and I was beginning to get really stressed about what we were going to do with out little dog on a weekend trip we couldn't bring him along on. A Facebook friend recommended Rover, and I ended up booking with Renee and John. I am so glad we did! Their daily updates were really appreciated by me and my kids, and you could tell he was really well taken care of. Thanks so much!”

Aleeya V.

“Aleeya was honestly one of the best dog sitters! She sent me lots of pictures and kept me in the loop with everything. I will definitely be booking with her again! :)”

Christine P.

“Very pleased with the care our dog received. Our dog was treated great and very tired when she got home.”

Courtnie C.

“Courtnie took great care of our dog while we took a last-minute trip out of town. She let us know how she was doing and even let her have a toy she fell in love with. We'll definitely contact Courtnie again when we need someone to watch her.”

Lisa L.

“My girls were so well taken care of. They had medications and I was gone so long but I didn't feel I had anything to worry about with Lisa. I will definitely be booking with Lisa again!”
