About: Call me Kim, I have loved and cared for many animals starting at a young age, while growing up in the country. I have also had pets my whole life including; dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, chickens, turkeys, turtles, pet rats, fish, pigs, cows and horses. Currently I have 2 cats, one is a 14 year old senior who is hard of hearing. He is social and gets along well with everyone. My younger cat, Timba is 4 years old and is the ‘typical’ orange cat, always ready to play, be in everybody’s business and wants to be every dogs best buddy. Currently, I am taking online classes, making my schedule flexible and open to help out other pet parents. I have grown up with a background in caring for farm animals and have experience caring for many types of animals including; horses, cows, turkeys, goats, pigs, snakes, rabbits and chickens. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have regarding my experience. I really look forward to meeting and spending time with your fur baby(s). Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile! My senior cat is respectful and very friendly being open to any pet guests that come to visit. My younger kitty Timba loves to play, and enjoys lots of attention. I do treat any fur babies in my care as I would *my own*, so we go for rides in the car, walks, trips to the beach, the pet store for a Birthday or special treat, the local dog parks & occasional trips out to the country. I am currently doing online classes with a few afternoon appointments so your fur baby would have my full attention for fun play time, frequent bathroom breaks and leisurely walks.
“Joan went above and beyond taking care of our dog Nala. The frequent updates gave us peace of mind while on vacation. And as any dog owner knows, that is priceless. Joan is a superstar in our book, and we would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter. We couldn’t possibly be happier!”

“Lisa made us and our boys us feel welcome and comfortable from the beginning. She sent us updates and pictures of them while we were away. She was easy to get ahold of and responded quickly. We would recommend her to anyone and would definitely have her look after our boys again.”

“Lori is amazing. We are newer to the area, so this was our first time. She made Jasper part of the family with lots of love and attention. Great at communicating and sharing pics.”

About: I've worked with a foster care program with many puppies and older dogs. Grew up with three dogs in a dog-loving family, familiar with many breeds and needs! I just graduated from the College of Saint Scholastica. I am available after 4 on weekdays and all day on weekends! My schedule for potty breaks is very flexible! I am very attentive to dogs, and I am able to adjust to their needs (puppies, seniors, disabilities). I also don't mind doing small house-sitting chores, such as dishes and laundry.
About: I'm Ashley. 29 years old. I have 7-8 years of experience sitting dogs. I give them my full attention at all times. I will play with them, and walk them. I will make sure they are fed, and hydrated! I'm a big animal lover! Most dogs that I've sat in the past loved me, and my attention I gave them. They will always leave happy :) I will sometimes spoil them if they're good. I'll go to the store, and pick up some toys or treats. My kids get along very well with animals. They will always play with them as well. My kids have never got injured by any dog or cat. I'm hoping you'll choose me to sit your animal!:)) I'm a stay at home so I have all day to care, and play with them! If my kids don't need me first then they have my full attention. I make sure to get them comfortable first. I fill up their dish bowls right away. They'll either come to me to sit or if they're a smaller dog I'll pick up, and sit with. They always show they are content by licking my hand, and following me around.

About: I grew up with cats and was drawn to dogs wherever possible! Even now I can’t help but stop and pet all the puppies!! As an adult I have had the opportunity to welcome 4 dogs and 4 cats into our home through the years. I have no problem administering medication or cleaning up messes. I have an alternating schedule and have seven days off in a row every other week. I would generally only plan care on the times that I have off unless your animal is one that can be left in the house 12 hours a day when I do have to work. I would like to get out walking more and the added motivation of a doggo would be great! I have a fenced in yard and a dog that loves doing zoomies all day long but also chilling in the sunshine. Pets are treated with love and care.
About: Hi there! My name is Savannah (or Sav for short!) and I’ve worked in pet care for 6 years in Minneapolis before moving to Duluth, resulting in completing hundreds of walks and dozens of sittings- and I love what I do! I also am the dog mom of a spunky 11 year old German Shepard mix. I understand the need for detailed and compassionate care, especially in the winter and summer when extra resources like dog boots or extra water may be needed. The pets I’ve had in my care lately range from pit bulls and labs to pugs and even older dogs. I am excited to meet your dog! I spend all day, everyday walking dogs of all ages and breeds. Pet care is my full time job and I love what I do! Many dogs feel most comfortable in their own home so I am happy to provide sittings in your home to care for your pet the way you would! I have experience training and specific requests, like administering medications. I always will treat your pet with the utmost care and respect!

“Laren, Mark, and their fur babies took our big fur baby on short notice. They were flexible and helpful. Chewie had a wonderful time with nice folks in a great environment. Thanks, y'all!”
About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.

“Emily was wonderful throughout the whole experience. She invited us to her home to see how my dog would be before booking the stay. Throughout my dog's stay she sent pictures and updates on how he was doing. She was also very understanding of my flight issues I had and was very flexible. I'd recommend her to everyone.”
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities for over 15 years, starting with family and neighbors and continuing through friends and repeat clients. I also volunteer walking dogs at the Humane Society in Superior, where I regularly work with nervous, high-energy, or more challenging dogs. I take a calm, patient approach and adjust to each dog’s needs, earning trust is always my goal. If a dog is difficult, I see it as an opportunity to connect. I truly love dogs, and I already love yours. I have a flexible schedule and work from home most days, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. With about three days’ notice, I can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care needs. On days I’m in the office or traveling for personal reasons, I communicate clearly in advance to ensure expectations are set and care is consistent. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I have two friendly dogs of my own, and I’m mindful about introductions and routines. If a pet needs a quieter or separate environment, I have family nearby who can care for my dogs as needed. I have a partially fenced yard and use leashes and close supervision for outdoor time. I follow care instructions closely and focus on providing a calm, structured, and safe environment.
About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is the genuine bond I create with each dog, treating them as if they were my own. I prioritize not just their basic needs, but also their emotional well-being by giving them personalized attention, plenty of affection, and engaging activities tailored to their personality. I focus on maintaining a calm, safe environment that feels like home, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel at ease. My reliability and commitment to clear communication with pet parents also help build trust and peace of mind. Incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine is seamless due to my structured schedule. After my nannying hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, I have plenty of time in the evenings and weekends to provide dedicated care for pets. I’m available for longer visits or overnight stays on weekends. Routine Maintenance: I adhere to the pet’s regular schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime to maintain consistency. Comfort and Safety: I ensure the environment is safe and comfortable, keeping familiar items nearby to reduce stress for the pet. Personalized Attention: I spend quality time with pets, engaging them in their favorite activities and providing companionship. Health Monitoring: I keep an eye on their health and behavior, promptly addressing any concerns and communicating with the owner as needed. House Care: I respect the client’s home by maintaining cleanliness, taking care of any pet-related messes, and following any house rules. Communication: I keep clients updated with regular messages or photos, so they can feel connected and reassured while they’re away. This comprehensive approach ensures that pets feel loved and cared for while their owners are not home.

Nelle stepped up on short notice when our planned Rover Day Care provider had to cancel because of a family situation. Nelle was sweet to work with and took really good care of our 100# Doodle (Cole). We cannot thank her enough and would chose her first if ever needing daycare in the Duluth area in the future.
