About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always been a true passion of mine! With nearly 15 years of experience in dog boarding and grooming, I’ve had the joy of caring for pups with all kinds of personalities, quirks, and needs. I understand that every dog is unique, and what makes one pup happy and comfortable may not work for another. That’s why I take the time to get to know each pet individually—learning their routines, preferences, and what helps them feel safe, relaxed, and right at home. My goal is simple: to give your furry family member plenty of love, attention, and personalized care while you’re away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands! 🐾❤️ While I work full-time during the day, I’m available most evenings and weekends to provide your pets with the love, attention, and routine they’re accustomed to. Whether you’re heading out for an overnight trip, working an extra-long shift, or simply enjoying a much-needed night out, I’m here to help make sure your furry family members are happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. As a pet owner myself, I know how challenging it can be to fit in that extra walk, potty break, or some much-needed playtime—especially on a busy day. That’s where I come in! My goal is to make life a little easier for you and give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring, dependable hands. 🐾❤️ Your pet is in good hands! 🐾 With nearly 15 years of experience working with a wide variety of dog breeds and personalities, I understand that every dog is unique. I take the time to get to know your pet on a personal level—their personality, routine, preferences, and individual needs—because I believe building trust is the foundation of great pet care. Keeping your dog’s routine as consistent as possible helps them feel safe, secure, and comfortable while you’re away, and my goal is for them to enjoy their time with me just as much as they would with you at the other end of the leash! Before your booking, I’ll take the time to talk with you about your pet, their personality, habits, and any special needs or instructions. This allows us to make the proper arrangements ahead of time and ensures your pet receives care that is truly tailored to them. I also place a strong emphasis on open, responsive communication, so you can feel confident knowing that your pet is cared for, their needs are understood, and you’re always kept in the loop while they’re in my care. ❤️
“Mike took amazing care of our pup while we were away and it was so fun getting pictures and videos of her throughout each day. He pampered her & loved on her so much we didn’t have to worry at all about her having fun while we were gone! He is absolutely phenomenal with her! She had a fabulous time with him. We highly recommend Mike and will definitely be asking him to take care of Didgi the next time we are away!”

“Kylee and her partner David were wonderful with our dog, Rusty! I could tell right away that they would be a good fit and that I could trust them. They provided updates and pictures which helped me feel at ease while I was away. Rusty got lots of cuddles and even got to go on a hike with them, which he loves to do! I will definitely be reaching out to Kylee any time I need someone to watch our pup.”

“Tatum was a dream! Beyond accommodating and loving to our puppy. She sent us pictures, videos and let us know how he was doing the entire stay. By the pictures you could tell our puppy was in heaven and got lots of love!”

“Joan took such good care of our pup Evie. You can tell that she truly loves animals. Our dog is wary of strangers and new places, but Joan made her feel comfortable right away. Evie enjoyed multiple hikes outside, play time and cuddles from Joan. We received updates throughout the day as well. We highly recommend Camp Joan!”

“Very attentive and responsive. Sent pics of my pup all weekend and made sure I was updated with everything going on. Picking up and dropping off was a breeze! I’d highly recommend Kate :)”

“Emily took wonderful care of our Stella while we were at an out state wedding. We were able to enjoy ourselves knowing Stella was well taken care. Emily did a great job of sending pictures thoroughout the weekend of Stella's happenings. I would highly recommend Emily. Her passion for animals, approachable personality, and flexibility made the experience a wonderful success!”

“Lori is more than we could have asked for! She was flexible with our last minute booking and made us feel comfortable leaving our baby overnight. She took our hyper puppy swimming, running and to the dog park. We could tell he was happy with her when we picked him up. She’ll be our first call next time!”

About: I have always had a dog in my home for the past 20 years. I have been hired by many friends and families to watch and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also have extensive experience taking care of older dogs, as I cared for my childhood dog during the last year of her life. I also have lots of experience as an Animal Care Attendant. Taking care of all different ages, sizes, and energy levels of dogs! I am well versed in dogs with behavioral issues. Administering oral medications. As well as feeding. I am a big dog lover and have two rescue dogs myself :) I am very flexible and open during the week days. I can also be available on some weekends with notice! I typically spend my mornings taking care of my pups and getting them out on a walk. The rest of the day I am free! I am very patent when it comes to animals. I love playing, walking, and cuddling (but only when they want to). I am very observant and make sure they aren't getting into things they shouldn't. Your pets health and safety is my number one priority!
About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.

About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
About: I understand that pets have more than food and exercise needs and deserve and need stimulation, play and company, not just rigid mileage — that’s what sets me apart from other walkers. I have worked with puppies, kittens, and senior animals. I am working remotely and have a flexible schedule where I have a lot of autonomy over when I take breaks to go outside and such My personal philosophy when entering someone’s home is to protect their privacy and provide peace of mind that their pets and home are in good hands. I focus on the small details that build trust—following lighting instructions (turning lights off, or leaving a porch light on if requested), returning keys exactly where they were found, and double-checking that faucets are fully off before I leave.
“Christina was wonderful with our cat, Molly! We were so grateful she was available at the last minute. She stayed in contact the whole week we were gone and sent the cutest pictures of Molly! We highly recommend Christina and will absolutely call her again!”

“Our experience having Julia watch our retriever while on vacation was excellent. From start to finish she was very easy to talk with, answered any questions, kept us up to date with how he was doing and even some photos of activities and just his well being. We are strict how we feed our dog and she had no problem with making that happen for us. Our pup was happy, well taken care of and I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing the same. Next time we have to leave town I will be reaching out to her. Thank you Julia!”

“Amazing experience. I had a last minute booking, and Morgan was able to take Bailey for 10 days. Drop off and pick up was easy. Bailey got along great with her dogs and was able to play a ton. Bailey got exercise and attention daily. Morgan was great at giving updates and communicating. The property had tons of space to run around. Highly recommend booking with Morgan.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
