Hello, my name is Lori. Since I was little, I have always had a love for animals, from my cat named Sweetie, to my Yorkshire Terrior, named Dusty. I am a previous owner of a rescue dog, a 14 year old female Weimaraner, named Diamond. She passed away December 2022. 🐾💕🌈I am located right off of Highway 35 and the beginning of Highway 61, located just two blocks away from Glensheen Mansion in a nice, friendly neighborhood. I am a lover of the outdoors and I am an avid runner also. I also volunteer for Iowa Weimaraner Rescue and Ruff Start Rescue. I will provide you the ultimate in pet walking, running or playing with your dog! I consider myself a “Dog Activity Director”, I am always finding fun adventures or special playdates for dogs!! Safety is always first. I will keep your dog happy and safe when you are called to other commitments in your life. Whether it is a 20 minute walk or an 6 mile run, I would be honored to exercise and keep your dog happy! I will gear the run, walk, hike or play experience to the individual needs of your dog whether you own a large or small breed. I am also available to help your dog become more obedient. Whether you want to improve walking, walking off leash, or basic obedience training I can help you! Thanks, Lori Dog Care is my full time job , I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup. My kids who are 18 and 20 are very good with all kinds of breeds and often help me! I like to take The dogs I care for to the dog park, dog friendly patios, fun trails or even the beach for a walk in the summer! Your dog will get lots of interaction and socialization from both humans and other dogs! Dogs that stay in our home become part of our family. It is their home away from home.
