About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.

About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.

I am working remotely and have a flexible schedule where I have a lot of autonomy over when I take breaks to go outside and such My personal philosophy when entering someone’s home is to protect their privacy and provide peace of mind that their pets and home are in good hands. I focus on the small details that build trust—following lighting instructions (turning lights off, or leaving a porch light on if requested), returning keys exactly where they were found, and double-checking that faucets are fully off before I leave.

“Our experience having Julia watch our retriever while on vacation was excellent. From start to finish she was very easy to talk with, answered any questions, kept us up to date with how he was doing and even some photos of activities and just his well being. We are strict how we feed our dog and she had no problem with making that happen for us. Our pup was happy, well taken care of and I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing the same. About: Hello! My name is Amanda, I’m 22, and love animals more than humans! I’ve taken care of, rescued, and owned almost every pet imaginable! I had springer spaniels and a cavalier growing up that I trained. Also had a cat, turtles, ferrets, hamsters, and fish all through my childhood. Now living on my own, I have a rescued cat and two ball pythons! Pet care fits easily into my routine and happy to work around pet’s schedules. I have a consistent full-time work schedule and flexible on days off. I enjoy spending time with animals so always happy to make pet care apart of my day! I offer boarding/daycare in my home, which has a small fenced yard and blocks away a from a park. Plenty of opportunities for outdoor time and play.
