“Courtney was so kind and welcoming while meeting my animals. She also took on the job very quickly and was great about communication! I could tell she is an animal lover to her core and my animals took to her quickly! Highly recommend Courtney if you need your animals cared for!”

“Elyse did a lot for my kitties besides feeding them. My cats responded well to her even if it was a pill one had to get each day. She worked well with me to fit her visits into my cats feeding schedule. From the pictures she took I knew my kitties had great care. I will request her again the next time I need a pet sitter.”

“Nicole was great! Communicative, shared lots of pictures from the check in, and even went the extra mile to keep an eye on and water started plants for our garden. We will definitely book again!”

“Kimberly did a great job. She took great care of my two cats while i was away and was very responsive to all my communications with her. I felt very comfortable working with her and having her in my home while i was away.”

“Alexandra has done an amazing jobs in taking care of my 2 cats when I was gone for vacation. She was so patient following all my instructions. She helped me move my two cats to their new place. I’m very grateful to her and highly recommend booking her. I will definitely book again. Thanks so much Alexandra.”

“We absolutely loved Talia! She was able to help us out last minute when our last sitter fell through and gave us such relief with her updates and pictures. When we got home from our trip, we could tell that our pets were so happy and well cared for! :)”

“Peter and Barbara helped me out on very short notice when I unexpectedly had to be admitted to the hospital. Wonderful folks, and they built up trust with my dog who is wary of strangers.”

“Kate took good care of our cat during the four days we were away. She did everything we asked related to cat care and a couple other tasks to take care of our home. I would ask her to take care of our cat again in the future.”

“HIRE. THIS. WOMAN. Went above and beyond taking care of my dog for the two weeks I was out of town. My dog hates strangers, but she loved all the attention, treats, pets, and brushes that Courtney gave. Definitely will hire again.”

About: I simply adore animals! I will provide loving, playful, patient, high quality care that will leave your fur babies begging for more! I am able to administer medications and general care as specified. I also offer nail/claw trims for dogs and cats for $20. Just check the bathing/grooming box. I prioritize play, so even drop ins will get plenty of entertainment! Supervised puzzle feeds, or playing with favorite toys, or whatever pops up in the moment. Pup-led play is usually the most fun! My schedule is fairly open most of the time, but I am going to be starting trade school to become a barefoot specialist for equines sometime in 2026. I need a flexible work schedule so I can trim my case study horses, and the horses I already trim for a friend. - REGARDING OVERNIGHT STAYS! My rates are for ONE 12 hr overnight visit. If you need me for consecutive nights with drop ins during the day, my rates increase to cover each drop in. Walks, nail trims, daily brushing are also an additional cost. These additional charges will be discounted, not my full rate. Let's discuss it 😃 My kitties and I enjoy a peaceful life out in the country. We're new to it, and it's not our house, so I am not currently offering boarding or doggy daycare. I am incredibly respectful of others' spaces. I follow the 'leave no trace' hiking guideline into clients' homes! I respect privacy and will never invite strangers in or take photos for any other reason than to update you, the owner.
About: Hi there! My husband and I have had dogs our entire life so we’ve been around the block! We’ve grown around labs, Goldens, aussies mostly but have taken care of families/ and friends dogs of different breeds and adore each of them:) We will 100% treat your buddy like one of our own. Can’t wait to meet you guys 🐾 😊 We just bought a new house! And we have a really big yard that is fenced in! We said once we have a yard we are wanting to open it up again to serve dogs in the Duluth/Superior area. We both teach at schools, so there are times and days we have breaks. Weekends too:) We have a big fenced in yard. We have a female Australian Shepherd and a female Golden R- both love to run and play :) With that, they love to play with other dogs! My husband and I are quite active as well. We love hiking, biking, running, going on walks, go to the water ANYTHING. So if you need us to tire out your pup we got you😆. We can close off our house with gates so your pup has access to a portion of the house if we have to make an errand otherwise we can have them in a kennel if you prefer. We understand that sometimes it’s scary dropping off your pup at a new place, so if you would like to schedule a time to meet to see if we are a good fit we can do that:)
About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I grew up with long haired dachshunds. I have also owned labs, a Dalmatian, huskies, you name it. I love big cuddly dogs the most, but will love up on the smallest to the biggest dog the same. I also have a big heart for senior pets. I work full-time during the week but I am always on the go and able to help with pet sitting, dog walking, helping with caring for animals as needed. I am available for house-sitting depending on the days/times. When I go to someone's home to care for their pet I will treat it as though it is my own pet, which is with the utmost care, kindness and love. I have a huge heart for all living beings including animals and humans. I am highly responsible, and responsive.
“Absolutely amazing and professional! Very trustworthy…Smokey was well taken care during our stay out of country. Liz kept us updated and spent good quality time with him. She was able to accommodate his ‘unique’ lifestyle habits and he was able to spend his enormous amount of energy…we can’t thank you enough!”

About: I love animals. My childhood cat was my bestie, my current cat (a 2-year-old cutie named Ghost) is my soul kitty, and I consider my friends’ pets my furry nieces and nephews. :) I’ve been pet sitting (dogs and cats) for friends and family for at least 15 years (probably longer!), and I truly love caring for their pets. I look forward to meeting your pets and giving them love, food, pets, walks, and playtime when you’re not able to. I work from home and have a pretty flexible job. Because of that, arranging drop-in visits or dog walks in the Duluth area will be easy. I work to create a calm, safe atmosphere for pets, so they can get to know me on their terms and learn to trust me. I like doing drop-in visits because it allows the pet to be in their own space, where they feel most comfortable, while they get to know a new face. :)

About: I've been taking care of family and friends pets for nearly a decade. I love spending time and getting to know each individual animal and what makes them unique. I would love to treat your pet like my own. https://www.rover.com/sit/fial23278 I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of spare time to spend with your pet! I normally only work a couple hours Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. I love long walks or time in parks as well as quiet time at home for whatever suits your pet best! I'm more than happy to do whatever I can to make your furry friend as happy as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Superior. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
