About: I have cared for animals since I was 8! As a certified dog trainer, I've worked with dogs ages 2 months-14 years in both obedience commands and trick training. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their individual personalities! I take my clients' animals happiness very seriously, and use play and praise to accomplish that. About: I’ve taken care of my brothers pitbull and my mom’s Argentinian dogo on and off for the last six years and I love it! I’ve always loved taking care of animals, in a different life I would have been a vet! I’m new to the are and moved here to be a co manager at a clothing store. I’m hoping to fill my extra time with taking care of furry family members! I work full time as a manager at a clothing store, but have two days off during the week and usually time before or after a shift to help as well. About: I recently moved to Duluth and while I'm loving settling into a new place, I'm desperately missing the time I used to spend with my parents' dogs (a golden retriever and a yellow lab). I was always around dogs growing up, as many as two or three in the house at a time sometimes, and still take advantage of any chance I can get to spend time around dogs - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, any dogs! I have two cats of my own - I've moved around a lot the last several years and some of the places I lived were better suited for cats than dogs, otherwise I'd have a dog as well by this point. I commute two days a week to teach at a community college on the Iron Range, leaving my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays-Sundays very free and flexible. I'd love to help you take care of your little loves (cats or dogs - or any other pets, really, if you're willing to teach me a bit about it!) whenever you find yourself in a spot where you can't be in two places at once or need the extra set of hands! I teach at a college on the Iron Range on Tuesdays and Thursdays - outside of some travel to see family back in Grand Rapids, my Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends are very open at the moment. I have my own vehicle and can get around easily - I'm also more than happy to transport dogs to walking trails in my own vehicle. I'm currently renting a smaller apartment that would make any visits in my own home difficult to manage, but I live close to various walking trails and love to spend time out on them. Spending quality time with animals is something that I find deeply comforting - I truly enjoy being near animals when I'm doing anything (reading, working, walking, whatever). About: Hello! My name is Tessa, I have lived with all sorts of animals my whole life, dogs, bunnies, and a lizard. I have lots of pet caregiving experience, I often will take care of my friends puppy while she is out of town. I have experience with basic care such as feeding, walking, letting out to go potty, and playing! I am a full time healthcare worker with a flexible schedule that allows me to be available early morning and early to late evening. I look forward to help taking care of your furry friends! As a full time student I have classes throughout the day. Monday, and Friday I am available anytime after 2:30pm. Tuesdays I am available all day, I have no classes that day. Wednesday and Thursday I typically get out of class at 5:00pm, so anytime after 5:30pm I am available. Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings I am typically available as well. At home I have a semi-unfenced yard. My backyard area is for the most part blocked off with my garage, my neighbors garage, and my backyard neighbors fence. I do however have a leash out front that I can attach to a post/hold while letting them outside. My roommates dog I mentioned previously is not staying at our home currently, so there are no other pets to worry about. I have a doggy gates, poop bags, toys, dog treats, and dog bowls! In any clients home, or mine, I will adhere to the rules in which they like to care for their furry friend!
About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I grew up with long haired dachshunds. I have also owned labs, a Dalmatian, huskies, you name it. I love big cuddly dogs the most, but will love up on the smallest to the biggest dog the same. I also have a big heart for senior pets. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
