About: I simply adore animals! I will provide loving, playful, patient, high quality care that will leave your fur babies begging for more! I am able to administer medications and general care as specified. I also offer nail/claw trims for dogs and cats for $20. Just check the bathing/grooming box. I prioritize play, so even drop ins will get plenty of entertainment! Supervised puzzle feeds, or playing with favorite toys, or whatever pops up in the moment. Pup-led play is usually the most fun! My schedule is fairly open most of the time, but I am going to be starting trade school to become a barefoot specialist for equines sometime in 2026. I need a flexible work schedule so I can trim my case study horses, and the horses I already trim for a friend. - REGARDING OVERNIGHT STAYS! My rates are for ONE 12 hr overnight visit. If you need me for consecutive nights with drop ins during the day, my rates increase to cover each drop in. Walks, nail trims, daily brushing are also an additional cost. About: I recently moved to Duluth and while I'm loving settling into a new place, I'm desperately missing the time I used to spend with my parents' dogs (a golden retriever and a yellow lab). I was always around dogs growing up, as many as two or three in the house at a time sometimes, and still take advantage of any chance I can get to spend time around dogs - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, any dogs! I have two cats of my own - I've moved around a lot the last several years and some of the places I lived were better suited for cats than dogs, otherwise I'd have a dog as well by this point. I commute two days a week to teach at a community college on the Iron Range, leaving my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays-Sundays very free and flexible. I'd love to help you take care of your little loves (cats or dogs - or any other pets, really, if you're willing to teach me a bit about it!) whenever you find yourself in a spot where you can't be in two places at once or need the extra set of hands! I teach at a college on the Iron Range on Tuesdays and Thursdays - outside of some travel to see family back in Grand Rapids, my Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends are very open at the moment. I have my own vehicle and can get around easily - I'm also more than happy to transport dogs to walking trails in my own vehicle. I'm currently renting a smaller apartment that would make any visits in my own home difficult to manage, but I live close to various walking trails and love to spend time out on them.
