“Jennifer was friendly , thorough, reliable AND took great care of my 3 cat crew! They were well loved and thoroughly entertained. 😺 I especially appreciated the text updates with photos. I would definitely call upon Jennifer again.”

“Clint was a great with our dog Otto! He can be a high energy and sometimes anxious dog, but Clint worked through it and they became fast friends. Clear and prompt communication, regular updates - Clint is trustworthy and made sure our dog was tired and happy :) highly recommend!”

“Chloe was absolutely amazing for our fur babies. She went above and beyond in caring for them. My family was able to be away and not worry about anything because they were in Chloe’s care. Highly recommend her services.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have had to watch them, feed them, walk them, and play with them. I love meeting new dogs! I’m currently waiting for a call back for an interview so my time is very open as of right now! I’m available during the week or weekends! I have two dogs who like to play. I can keep your dog leashed around the yard and on walks. I would keep them in a good environment.
“We absolutely loved Talia! She was able to help us out last minute when our last sitter fell through and gave us such relief with her updates and pictures. When we got home from our trip, we could tell that our pets were so happy and well cared for! :)”

“Jessica was awesome! She watched our two dogs for 1 week. She was very quick to respond with anything I had to tell her. She came for a very nice visit before we left to meet our pups. She sent many pictures while we were gone. Very highly recommend her!”

About: I simply adore animals! I will provide loving, playful, patient, high quality care that will leave your fur babies begging for more! I am able to administer medications and general care as specified. I also offer nail/claw trims for dogs and cats for $20. Just check the bathing/grooming box. I prioritize play, so even drop ins will get plenty of entertainment! Supervised puzzle feeds, or playing with favorite toys, or whatever pops up in the moment. Pup-led play is usually the most fun! My schedule is fairly open most of the time, but I am going to be starting trade school to become a barefoot specialist for equines sometime in 2026. I need a flexible work schedule so I can trim my case study horses, and the horses I already trim for a friend. - REGARDING OVERNIGHT STAYS! My rates are for ONE 12 hr overnight visit. If you need me for consecutive nights with drop ins during the day, my rates increase to cover each drop in. Walks, nail trims, daily brushing are also an additional cost. These additional charges will be discounted, not my full rate. Let's discuss it 😃 My kitties and I enjoy a peaceful life out in the country. We're new to it, and it's not our house, so I am not currently offering boarding or doggy daycare. I am incredibly respectful of others' spaces. I follow the 'leave no trace' hiking guideline into clients' homes! I respect privacy and will never invite strangers in or take photos for any other reason than to update you, the owner.
“Kimberly did a great job. She took great care of my two cats while i was away and was very responsive to all my communications with her. I felt very comfortable working with her and having her in my home while i was away.”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I grew up with long haired dachshunds. I have also owned labs, a Dalmatian, huskies, you name it. I love big cuddly dogs the most, but will love up on the smallest to the biggest dog the same. I also have a big heart for senior pets. I work full-time during the week but I am always on the go and able to help with pet sitting, dog walking, helping with caring for animals as needed. I am available for house-sitting depending on the days/times. When I go to someone's home to care for their pet I will treat it as though it is my own pet, which is with the utmost care, kindness and love. I have a huge heart for all living beings including animals and humans. I am highly responsible, and responsive.
“Amber took care of my two cats, two budgee parakeet birds and our corn snake through the duration of a week by dropping into my house to feed and care for them all, twice daily. Absolutely no complaints, she rocked it, took great care of every baby under the roof and followed instructions to the exact detail! She happily accommodated our booking request over Christmas time, which says alot, but also did so with only a few weeks notice so bravo to her for her flexibility as well.”

About: Hello there! My name is Ella. I’ve been pet sitting for over a decade now and have met some wonderful people and pets along the way. From a young age, I've been fortunate to have had opportunities to care for a variety of animals - from parrots to puppies! I have extensive experience walking, cleaning, feeding, and providing basic medical care. I understand how important it is to find a caring, trustworthy sitter for your pet while you're gone. I would love to connect with you to see if I could be the right fit! My work schedule is flexible and I work remotely Monday-Friday. That way I’m able to spend as much time as needed with your pet, especially if housesitting is an option for you. While pet sitting, I prefer to proactively communicate with my clients. I text you when I arrive at the house and give a status update, reassuring you that everything is in order and your pets are doing well. I recognize the needs of your pet and respond accordingly. I'm patient and calm with those that are withdrawn or scared. I understand that many animals are sensitive to change and may be missing their people when I first arrive; so I make sure to maintain their schedule as much as possible. My goal is to provide seamless, loving care for your pet - ensuring their routines remain as normal and as consistent as they would be if your were home with them. I allow them as much time as they need to warm up and begin to trust me. When they feel comfortable, I like to send pictures to let you know how they're doing, all the while keeping your home clean and tidy.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Two Harbors. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
