About: I live on a small lake just outside of Duluth. I have a Shih Tzu named Poika and a Black Lab named Gunner. Both are very laid back. I know how hard it is to find good pet sitters in my area and so I thought since I love dogs, I would help others out like myself. I have a nice yard, love to play with my dogs and will treat your baby like my own. We love to be on the boat on the lake, have a dock for jumping dogs, a long yard for tennis ball lovers, and just anything a dog would want. I am a work from home person so am here pretty much all the time. I'm flexible, and I love dogs! I know your dogs will love it here. While my yard isn't fenced, I never let clients dogs out without them being on a leash. When in my home, I keep pets under close supervision. I do prefer if the pets are younger, that they come with a kennel for crating at night or during the day if I need to run somewhere. However, older, mellow, non aggressive and non destructive dogs are free to just be comfortable wherever they choose while they are here. I do have a Vari Kennel here that fits my 50 pound lab so if you don't have a kennel to bring and your dog will fit in mine, that is fine.

About: I've cared for a total of 8 kitties in my lifetime, from the daily feeding and litter scooping to claw trimming to intensive palliative care, and the 12 weeks of injections for Minky's FIP (she is totally healthy now!), and Poppy's twice daily epilepsy meds. I can handle any and all of it! Now I have 3 cats. Moki, my 16 yo boy, Minky, who's 3, and Poppy, the youngest at 2 years old. We all love our play sessions, whether that's with their wand and feather toy, their colorful springs, or exploring the outdoors in their harnesses. About: Have much patience as I helped raise litters of puppies from 17 on, experience with IVDD (intervertebral disk disease) paralyzed, expressing bladders, dog grooming assistant for 2 yrs, cancer/kidney failure, comfort cares, giving meds, behavior/aggression issues and more :) Currently work another part time flexible job. I don’t have a sitter for my dog so I would have to bring him along if it’s for an extended stay. He is very dog and cat friendly. I am a hard worker and learn things quickly. Pets have always been my passion to be around :) I always feed my pets before myself and they go out to use restroom the same most times. Safety is my top priority! I don’t have any special skills such as pet training, just really good with dogs. I am a full time nurse and I’m off every other week. I would love to take/walk dogs on my weeks off. “Lori is more than we could have asked for! She was flexible with our last minute booking and made us feel comfortable leaving our baby overnight. She took our hyper puppy swimming, running and to the dog park. We could tell he was happy with her when we picked him up. She’ll be our first call next time!”
About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.
