“Great communication, sent lots of updates and pictures. My pup is an only child and loved being able to play with other dogs that were there for doggie day care etc. Peter was wonderful. Would definitely book again!”

“I would definitely book with Nicole again! This was my first time using Rover, and I was a little nervous at first. Okay, maybe a lot nervous, haha. Drop off and pick up were a breeze. My dog got to meet some new friends and go to the dog park. Nicole was very responsive and sent great updates and pics! It was such a relief knowing he was happy and safe. He even got to sleep on the bed.”

“Shiloh did amazing with our golden doodle Jinx! She sent sweet update photos and jinx came back happy as ever. Her children gave our dog lots of love and her dog was very sweet and playful!”

“I was happy to leave my dogs with Patty. She has a very nice, large fenced yard, has a great demeanor and a is obviously a dog lover. My dogs weren't sad to see me go, lol. I'll definitely be bringing them back to "visit" Patty. I'm sure the dogs will love staying there again.”

“Grateful for availability on short notice. Took good care of Opie, busy with lots of playmates. Kept us updated via text and videos. We were grateful for flexibility in pick up times.”

About: With almost 7 years of professional experience, you can trust that your pets are in good hands! I grew up on and around farms, so I have experience with pets ranging from dogs and cats, to goats and chickens, to lizards and guinea pigs and more. Now, I have my own little zoo at home, which includes a dog, a cat, two guinea pigs, turtles, and fish. I started my professional experience at the age of 16, when I started working at a doggy daycare. Once I moved to the Duluth area, I continued caring for pets through Rover and similar sites. In the last few months, I have started my own business petsitting and dog walking. In addition, I have done volunteer work through animal shelters and worked closely with dog trainers to expand my knowledge and experience with pets of all kinds. I currently work full time Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, as well as 9am-3pm Saturdays and 5pm-9pm Friday and Saturday nights. In order to make sure that my pets are getting all the love and attention they need, I will no longer be able to do overnight visits on weekdays. I am more than happy to stay over on weekends and do drop-in visits during the week, though! I love spoiling my pets, and would love to do so with yours as well. I have a lot of experience with complex feeding and medication instructions. I am also very active, so I can exercise your pup in a safe one-on-one environment, bring them to the dog park, provide mental stimulation with puzzles, or cuddle with them if they're a little older- whichever is preferred by you and your pupper.
“Scout had a wonderful stay with Marly! She is a senior canine-citizen and needs a few extra potty breaks and TLC and she got exactly what she needed at Marly's house. Thanks, Marly!”

“Amber was fantastic. Prior to our scheduled overnight amber spent time getting to know Otis, my super high energy, sort of anxious, golden retriever puppy. Amber immediately made a connection with Otis, I knew Otis would be in good, experienced hands.”

“Mike took amazing care of our pup while we were away and it was so fun getting pictures and videos of her throughout each day. He pampered her & loved on her so much we didn’t have to worry at all about her having fun while we were gone! He is absolutely phenomenal with her! She had a fabulous time with him. We highly recommend Mike and will definitely be asking him to take care of Didgi the next time we are away!”

“Carly was amazing with my pup, Opal! She kept us updated regularly with pictures and texts. They took great care of her (playing outside, taking her for walks, and most importantly, snuggles on the couch! I will most definitely use them again!”

“Tatum was a dream! Beyond accommodating and loving to our puppy. She sent us pictures, videos and let us know how he was doing the entire stay. By the pictures you could tell our puppy was in heaven and got lots of love!”

“Lori is more than we could have asked for! She was flexible with our last minute booking and made us feel comfortable leaving our baby overnight. She took our hyper puppy swimming, running and to the dog park. We could tell he was happy with her when we picked him up. She’ll be our first call next time!”

“My dog can be picky when it comes to staying with others and other dogs but I could tell right away Christina was a perfect fit! She was super communicative while I was away, sent pictures, and gave immediate updates when there was a small issue. A rabbit chase caused a broken collar. She's so amazing she had already given him a new one by the time I was able to respond. 10/10”

About: I have never lived without having both a dog and a cat in my house. Current residents include 2 dogs and 2 cats, but my family has fostered cats/kittens for about 8 years and dogs/puppies for about 5. I have taken care of neighbor's pets for both drop-in visits and extended care periods. I am currently in Graduate School and missing my animals so I would love to come visit yours!! I'm currently taking classes for my Graduate program Monday-Wednesdays, but I am available those evenings and the entire day Thursday-Sundays. I would love to use pet care as a break from homework! I have experience with animals with many different personalities, and I have developed the skill to adjust my approach to each pet to match what they need from a caretaker. Trust between me, you as the owner, and your pet is incredibly important to me, so I am happy to learn how to best support each dog or cat's safety and happiness!
About: Hi there! My name is Savannah (or Sav for short!) and I’ve worked in pet care for 6 years in Minneapolis before moving to Duluth, resulting in completing hundreds of walks and dozens of sittings- and I love what I do! I also am the dog mom of a spunky 11 year old German Shepard mix. I understand the need for detailed and compassionate care, especially in the winter and summer when extra resources like dog boots or extra water may be needed. The pets I’ve had in my care lately range from pit bulls and labs to pugs and even older dogs. I am excited to meet your dog! I spend all day, everyday walking dogs of all ages and breeds. Pet care is my full time job and I love what I do! Many dogs feel most comfortable in their own home so I am happy to provide sittings in your home to care for your pet the way you would! I have experience training and specific requests, like administering medications. I always will treat your pet with the utmost care and respect!
About: While I have not been a professional dog sitter I have always been the one to offer to walk or watch my coworkers, family, and friends dogs.I absolutely love being around them, and can't wait to meet yours. In the past I have used Rover to find a sitter for my dogs when I am travelling with them. Having a safe place for them to be when I go tour around a new city is such a nice option to have. Sometimes this is a few hours other times an overnight. Hoping to be able to provide this for others. I have 3 dogs of my own, one shelter rescue and 2 foster fails. Luna, Ole, and Birdie have been great foster siblings to foster dogs I have cared for also. I have a fenced yard with enough room to play. I also have a few spare bedrooms so will have the ability to separate dogs if that is needed however I prefer to dogsit those that are dog friendly due to already having a few in the home.
About: I have two cats of my own. My tuxedo lu has been around since I was super little, I’ve carried her with me everywhere i go! My fluffy boy moo was a rescue a few years ago, he’s a big sweetie. I have a dog named ollie that I share custody of with my mom. he comes with me on all of the road trips and hikes. I’ve sat for family members and people in my area since I was 15. I also have reptile experience caring for chameleons and snakes. I’m here for any pet! Taking care of animals is my passion ☺️ I do photography full time so my schedule stays pretty flexible. I’m typically available on holidays! I don’t mind to travel a little for your furry friends, so don’t worry too much if you’re far away! I love spending most of my time with my cats. No matter what I’m doing—they’re at my feet or on my lap. My cat moo comes on hikes with me! I enjoy getting fur babies out of the house into the world. I have a dog cover on the back seats in my car. I will always reach out to ask before traveling with your dog, this is not necessary, just an offer! :)
