Availability

I work part time at the hospital in town so I’ll have plenty of time for your fur babies! I walk my dog and any dogs guests once before work and once after work on days I work. I have pretty open availability for walking or drop in clients, but do not like to walk dogs after sundown/before sunrise.

Safety, trust & environment

I only allow dogs from one family at a time, so you can be assured that your dog will be safe and get plenty of attention. As priority, I will be taking any instruction from you about how you would like your dog and house treated. Meaning, for example, if you are a positive re-enforcement only household, then that’s how I will interact with your dog. If a situation ever comes up with your pet or home that you did not leave explicit instructions for, then I will use safety centric decision making to triage, and then contact you asap as needed. My primary concern is always the safety of your fur babies, and then your property. It’s an honor to be left with the care of your kiddos and your home, and I take the responsibility seriously. My dog is the center of my universe, so I will treat your dog the same ♥️

Information Chloe "Zada" Y. would like to know about your pet

For boarding guests I require emergency vet info. If you are not from the area, please leave your local vets number so that they can be contacted if needed . Let me know if your dog has a special diet at all. I usually bring high value treats like boiled chicken and pepperonis to build trust quickly with your pet. Please let me know if there is anything you prefer your dog to have or not have. Please let me know any behavior traits that I need to be aware of including how your dog interacts with other dogs and children in case we interact with any on a walk.

A typical day

For overnight guests, I love to start the day with a long walk or run first thing in the mornings. After that, we’ll both eat breakfast and relax a bit. All dogs who come over get to play in the yard with me and my dog Blue. We love fetch and keep away. I have frozen peanut butter puzzle toys for any dogs whose parents approve. We love cuddle time in this house, dogs are allowed on the furniture! We have lots of toys that Blue will share - you are welcome to drop off your own but please no rope or soft toys. For overnight guests, I like to end the day with another walk to really make sure they’ve had a fulfilling and fun day before we wind down for the night.

Pet care experience

🐾 While I've had dogs my entire life, I really began learning about animal care when I started volunteering for a dog rescue 10 years ago. Since then I have fostered and baby sat dozens of dogs, some for months at a time. I am comfortable & capable taking care of dogs from tiny puppy size to large guardian dogs. I’m strong & confident even with pullers! 🐾 I can re-enforce basic commands like down, sit, stay, shake, etc. I can usually teach dogs a spin dance move in about 20 minutes 💃 🐾 Dogs staying for boarding or daycare will get to hang out with me & my hound dog Blue. Blue gets along with all dogs, whether they are shy, dominant, playful, young, elderly. She is great at matching energy but she LOVES playing if your dog is receptive. 🐾 If you’re grabbing dinner or shopping for the day in Two Harbors, you can park at my house after booking a daycare service. Your dog will get to play with my dog Blue instead of waiting in the car! I am walking distance to lots of restaurants & stores in Two Harbors. I am a thirty second walk to Dairy Queen, so you can look at a map to see how far that is to other places you may be interested in going. I frequently walk to the shoreline from my house but it might be a bit far for some folks or kiddos. Please let me know if you have other questions. 🐾

Chloe was absolutely amazing for our fur babies. She went above and beyond in caring for them. My family was able to be away and not worry about anything because they were in Chloe’s care. Highly recommend her services.

This girl goes above and beyond when she is Pet sitting, she interacted with all the animals and left my house the way it was when I left. I will be using her again most definitely. She really does care and puts 100% into her pet sitting and makes me feel at ease to leave them.

Zada has been my friend for over a decade and I’ve watched her work with animals professionally and am a witness to what a phenomenal pet parent she is! She is absolutely amazing with animals! She’s watched my cats several times and always goes above and beyond. I never have to worry when she’s around! I have complete peace of mind knowing they’ll be loved and receiving all the attention they need and more! She genuinely cares about every animal she meets, and it really shows.
