About: My pets have always been my children! I’ve had my own pets for 25 years as well as family pets growing up. I also enjoy light puppy/dog training. My schedule is very flexible as I am an entrepreneur. I may also be able to accommodate rush requests so please feel free to reach out! I’m available to feed, provide medication, walk your pet, or let them out to the yard for play and potty break. Your pet will always be leashed while outside of your home/ fenced yard.

About: Since I was young, I've been very drawn to caring for pets of all nature and have a very deep connection with dogs. From my experiences with having 2 dogs of my own to being the best aunt to my sisters’ poodles, I know that a dog really is a human's best friend. I'd love the opportunity to help others care for their best friends too! Currently, I have reduced my hours at my hospital job to an average of around 20 hours a week, thus have a lot more flexibility in my schedule and can change my work availability as needed. For the remainder of the summer, I am preparing myself to start graduate school in the fall, when I will be enrolled at GWU and living in Alexandria. As such, I am available to take on any and all services necessary to offer help in any way that I can! Though I would not be looking to house any pets in my home, I do prefer fenced yards for client's homes so that outside play can ensure safety for the pet as while as myself. If this is not feasible, I will gladly resort to playing inside (with permission from the owners), as well as traditional dog sitting indoors and frequent neighborhood walks.

About: Hi! I’m Jessie and I’m a lifelong animal lover I have even been called a cat whisperer. Personally, I have been an owner of German Shepherds since I have been alive and I have had cats since I’ve been four years old. Friends and family have been trusting me with their house keys since I’ve been able to drive even when I’m not pet sitting for them. I treat every pet like my own with kindness, patience, and all of the love. I have experience with a wide range of temperament from anxious animals to high energy animals. I will make sure I take the time to make sure your pet is comfortable with me and make sure I prioritize their routine. ✅Patient with all animals ✅Experience with medication administration ✅Flexible availability for daily drop in visits ✅Will provide photos and updates with every visit I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, snuggles, and potty breaks throughout the day. I’m available most weekends, mornings, and evenings for drop in visits. While I am there, I will make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I offer drop-in visits only and I take the responsibility of entering your home seriously. I will treat your space with the same respect I would want for my own- keeping things clean, secure, and exactly how you left them. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment and giving you peace of mind that both your pet and your home are in good hands

“I'm so thankful to Ava for watching and attending to our Maine Coon. She's extremely dependable and trustworthy. Knowing that our Niki is in good hands while we're on travel is invaluable.”

“Baylie took such great care of my sweet boy and was able to accommodate us on short notice. She sent tons of cute pictures, left detailed notes for each visit, and went the extra mile to make sure Guillermo was comfortable and happy. I will absolutely be reaching out for future bookings. Thanks Baylie!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for pets with fur and scales my whole life. Neighbors and family have often relied on me to walk, feed and groom their pets. I’m an experienced puppy trainer. I’ve also been a volunteer dog walker and cat socializer at Barcs! Last year I returned to school to finish my degree part-time so my schedule can vary each semester but is flexible. Caring for your pet will be the highlight of my week, and hopefully for your pet too! My current housing situation does not allow additional dogs/cats, but that may change someday in the future. I’d be happy to care for your pet from your home!

“Andrew is always reliable and is punctual when needed. He has a passion for pets and pays attention to every detail related to the walk. I will continue to use Andrew in the future and I highly recommend him for all your pets needs.”

“Diana was amazing. She was on time and sent photos. She was easy to reach out to and we felt really good about having our dog taken care of by her. We especially were pleased with her coming to meet us. I would highly recommend her. We hope to use her again.”

“Madison was able to stop by with less than 48 hours notice to take care of my two puppies during our night out. She did a great job and they were so content when we got home!”

“Annette was so sweet and communicative! We felt so good about leaving our pets with her and would absolutely book her services again.”

About: My name is Molly and I just graduated from Stony Brook University with my bachelor’s in marine biology. I am currently in the process of applying to veterinary school and am employed as a vet assistant. I have worked as a kennel assistant at Dogwood Acres and I have dogs of my own. I have worked with small and large dogs, as well as dog-aggressive dogs. I have also house-sat cats before. I care for my 2 reptiles and fish and I grew up on a small farm with goats, sheep, chickens, and more assorted pets. With my knowledge of the vet field and background in animal care, I will do everything I can to make your pet comfortable and happy <3 I am working as a vet assistant to get oriented in the field and I am also writing my vet school applications this summer. I work Monday-Wednesday and every other Thursday. Occasionally I have half days on Saturday. Every day is filled with pet care for me, and I have extensive experience in the field. I would love to give the best care I can to your pet! If boarding: I have a dog named Jane who gets along with other dogs and loves people! I have both a fenced yard and an open yard that your dog would be free to roam if staying with me. I also have a pool that is available to them. There is a doggy door to the fenced yard and pool, water available throughout the day, and I will be around to keep an eye on them unless my schedule states otherwise. I’ll make sure they’re eating, sleeping, getting medication as needed, and having normal potty breaks. I will update you with daily photos and call in case of any abnormalities or emergencies. If housesitting: When going over to your home I will make sure to check on your pet regularly and observe their behaviors. I will make sure that your pet is eating, having normal potty breaks, getting medication as needed, and that the house is in good condition after your pet has been left alone. I am willing to water plants, feed fish and reptiles, and do other general housesitting tasks as well. I will send updates at least once a day with photos and call in case of any odd behavior or emergencies.

Molly S.
“I have a dog that loves people but dislikes all other animals. She is no doubt a difficult dog. Before Molly, she had to be kenneled, which I didn't love doing. I tried several other dog sitters and it was a disaster. I even had to leave my vacation early once because the sitter let her loose w another dog. Molly gets animals, their behavior, requirements and fully understands the seriousness of my situation. She is the ONLY pet sitter I allow to watch my dog. It also helps that she is studying to be a Veterinarian, has her degree in Marine Biology and has access to veterinary advice and care from her coworkers should a question arise. She is also a very friendly, honest and a reliable young lady, who also loves plants, so if you need those watered or cared for as well she has a great green thumb!”
