“We recently starting using Sophia two times a week for day car and I am so glad we did. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and keeps you updated throughout the day with videos and pictures. My fur baby loves when we arrive and we will definitely continue to use Sophia for the foreseeable future.”

About: I have two dogs, although one lives with my ex currently. I have had them both since 2008 and having them has been nothing short of a blessing. Besides having my own, I have also frequently dogsitted for a friend, staying at his place and taking care of his two dogs. Besides those experiences, I just have a genuine love for all animals and want to make sure that they feel that. I try to give them as much as attention as needed.

“I am so bless to have Raghavi P. on Rover. She took excellent care of my toy poodle, Nema. Nema has never been to daycare, and Raghavi P. made me and Nema feel at ease from the very start. She communicated well and even sent me pictures each day. I will definitely use Raghavi P. again and highly recommend her services.”

“Toby LOVES daycare at Kira’s! He is always so happy to go to her house in the morning and comes back tired. We really love and appreciate the photos of Toby that Kira puts in the Rover card and Kira always leaves a lovely note about Toby’s day like if he went to the school bus stop to pick up her son, if he had playmates during the day, or even if he guarded the door while she showered! It’s clear that Kira loves, cares, and understands dogs; for example, if her dog Jazz is still eating when Toby arrives, Toby gets a little bit of food too. We can tell from the photos and when we pick him up that Toby has the best time with Jazz, Kira, her son and husband.”

“I gave Gail 5 stars but she needs 10. First time booking and she was a life saver by stepping in after our regular options informed us they they could not accept the booking due to other obligations. She was able to accommodate for the two days and I can tell Buddy really enjoyed his stay. When the creators of this service envisioned the what type of sitters they would need to be successful this is who they had in mind. Thanks Gail.”

“Khushboo is amazing at watching Kholby. Kholby loves you going over to her home and comes back tired. Khushboo sends multiple pictures and gives updates every few hours. I never have to worry when Kholby is in her care. An added touch is someone is always home so he has someone to watch him at all times.”

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my extensive experience and genuine love for dogs. I've been caring for dogs since I was 16, giving me a deep understanding of their needs at various life stages. I have a special knack for training puppies, ensuring they receive the guidance and socialization they need to grow into well-behaved companions. Additionally, I have experience in caring for senior dogs, which requires patience and an understanding of their unique needs, such as administering medications and adjusting to mobility challenges. I also prioritize creating a comfortable and safe environment for every dog in my care. With a strong emphasis on exercise, play, and positive reinforcement, I tailor my approach to each dog's personality and needs, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve. My friends and neighbors often rely on me to care for their dogs, which speaks to the trust and rapport I've built in the community. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, especially since I work from home. This arrangement allows me to provide consistent attention and companionship to the dogs in my care. Each day, I schedule regular breaks to walk, play, and engage with them, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I dedicate time for training sessions, particularly for puppies, helping them learn essential skills in a positive and supportive environment. With my flexible schedule, I can accommodate their needs, whether it's a midday walk or some extra playtime during breaks. Working from home also means that I can closely monitor their behavior and well-being, offering reassurance to anxious dogs and ensuring seniors get the care they need. My focus is on creating a nurturing environment where every dog feels loved and secure while I manage my work responsibilities. In my home, I create a safe and comfortable environment for pets, ensuring they feel relaxed and at ease. I have designated areas for play, rest, and feeding, and I maintain a clean and secure space to promote their health and well-being. My home is pet-friendly, equipped with plenty of toys and engaging activities to keep them entertained. I also have a cockapoo named Eevee, who loves to play and socialize with other dogs. My 8-year-old daughter is very energetic and enjoys spending time with dogs, providing additional companionship and playtime. Together, we engage in activities like fetch, agility exercises, and playful training sessions, ensuring all pets receive plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I believe communication with pet owners is essential, so I provide regular updates and pictures to keep them informed about their pets’ activities and well-being. My goal is to ensure that every pet feels loved and cared for while they are with us.

“My dog loved spending the day with Sara and her family. Their home has such a warm, welcoming energy. My dog seemed to vibe with it right away when we went for our meet and greet. Thank you, Sara!”

“Katherine was seriously a life save for our 3 month puppy Finn. We unexpectedly realized we could not take our puppy to an event and she had a quick response and was willing to take care and watch our puppy. We are incredibly grateful to have found Katherine. Couldn’t recommend her enough and will definitely be rebooking!”

“The care our 6 mo.-old Golden puppy received for four days was superb. Tevie enjoyed long walks in the woods and playtime with Ivan's friendly dog, Sunny. Our pup was comfortable with Ivan and his friendly parents right away and the daily photos Ivan sent assured us of the quality care Tevie was consistently given. When my husband wasn't able to fit Tevie into his small car to bring her home, Ivan's dad kindly offered to drive her and her crate to our house. We greatly appreciated his offer to do this. I look forward to booking the next stay with Ivan. Glad I found him on Rover.com!”

About: My name is Lulu. I have a medium size dog Judo who loves doggie friends. Because of allergies, dogs are not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom. We only take one dog at a time so he/she gets the best care. We only accept dogs that are fully house trained. Before booking with us for the first time, I would like to do a meet n greet to ensure a good fit. I am currently working from home so I can spend more time with the dogs. Potty breaks in the yard available throughout the day. Two walks a day with my dog. All interactions between dogs will be monitored. When I’m not around I will keep them separate in the first three days until I am confident that they get along. Toys and food will not be left around.
