About: I’ve always had animals in my life—cats, dogs, and even a couple of donkeys at one point! I’ve helped multiples friends with house-sitting and taking care of their pets, making sure they’re happy and loved while their owners are away. I genuinely love being around animals, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just hanging out for some cuddles. I will treat your pet like it’s my own! (: I have multiple openings in my schedule, allowing me to check on pets throughout the day. I love going on walks and I could easily (and would love to) bring a pet along! For cats, I will keep them inside and give them all the playtime and cuddles they need! For dogs I’d go for walks, play with them outside, and give them all the love they need!

About: Hi! My name is Tenaya! I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. About: I've been nothing but surrounded by animals my whole life. I grew up with at least 4 cats, a 900-gallon pond for water turtles, and an entire room dedicated to reptiles and amphibians. I spent over a thousand volunteer hours at a primate sanctuary taking care of primates, alligators, ducks, pigs, and macaws. I also recently graduated with a degree in zoology. I started pet sitting around the age of 10 and have not stopped since. It is something that always brings me joy. I have experience with senior, disabled, and young care, whether that is tricking an old dog into taking his medicine wrapped in a piece of cheese or administering an insulin shot for a cat. I'm truly happy with anything from the big and scary to the creepy and crawly. I'm just happy to be here! I normally work a regular 9-5 job, but my hours are somewhat flexible if needed and Im a federal employee currently on shutdown so I am very available! I'm happy to work any time of night, or early in the morning. I am unable to house pets in my current home due to housing restrictions. In the client's home, I respect the pet’s established routine and try to follow it closely, ensuring they experience as little disruption as possible. This includes maintaining their regular feeding, exercise, and sleep schedule. I also make sure to spend quality time with the pet, providing them with attention and affection so they feel safe and happy in their familiar surroundings. I’m mindful of keeping the home tidy and secure while the owners are away, following any specific instructions for care, cleaning, and home security. I try to always be attentive to the pet’s behavior, ensuring they’re comfortable, healthy, and stress-free. I’m also experienced in administering medication if needed and always keep a close eye on their health and well-being.
