“Jessie was wonderful to work with! She happily met Maisey and me for a meet and greet before I booked. She took care of my shy, scared rescue puppy for the first time she had been away from me. Jessie rose to the challenges my girl presented. She sent photo updates and responded to my nervous dog mom messages. I absolutely trust Jessie and it gave me comfort to know Maisey was with her and well taken care of while I was far away!”

“Our pup had the best time with Zia and family. We got daily updates and communication was perfect! We highly recommend Zia if you want your dog to get wonderful attention and love. Look forward to booking with them again.”

I make every walk a meditation for me and the dog(s). I work on multiple part-time jobs from home with a flexible schedule throughout the week. I walk dogs four times per day if the weather allows. I fulfill dogs’ needs for physical and mental exercise by walking. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks. I have two kids to keep your pets accompanied. I have the knowledge for pet caring given my extensive experience.
About: I am currently a student at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to become a vet! I have had pets at home since elementary school including dogs, cats, and chickens. At home I play an integral role caring for each of my pets. My love for animals extends outside of the house as I look to work with animals professionally as a veterinarian. I have 8 years of experience volunteering and working at veterinary clinics. Through my work, I have learned to handle all kinds of breeds and temperaments. I am so excited to work with your pets and provide incredible service. Shoot me a message with any questions or requests and I will be sure to respond day-of. I am currently in my second year of vet school and will have openings most days at various times to care for all your dog's and/or cat's needs before, after, and between classes. I have previous experience as a veterinary assistant, which consisted of caring for pets, so this will just be an extension of the same care I provided in the animal hospital and the animals I care for in vet school. I am very comfortable tending to all the needs of your pets including walking, feeding, playing with, cleaning up after, and giving medications. I am confident in handling dogs and cats and will ensure their safety around other animals.
“We booked Ann to watch our pug for 4 days. She sent us lots of pictures and updates, which we really appreciated. When our flight coming home was delayed, she was very accommodating and understanding. We really liked how she followed all Covid protocols and her home is very clean and welcoming. We will definitely use her in the future!”
“We have used Marya a few time for daycare. This is the first time we've had to leave town for a few days and Mochi has ever done boarding. He came home happy and healthy as usual.”

“My dog did wonderfully with Kirsten! I've tried a few different boarding options and Kirsten is by far the best! She sent a daily update to let me know how it was going and was very quick and responsive to communication about both pickup and drop off times. I will certainly be using Kirsten again for my boarding needs.”

“Cindy was very wonderful and did a great job taking care of my dog, Finley while I was gone for a couple days. She sent me frequent updates and pictures which was really nice and relieving for me. I would definitely have her watch Finley again in the future!”

“Ally was so caring and communicative, we felt very comfortable with our pup, Eva, in her care! Many appropriate experiences and outings to make for an interesting time during Eva’s stay, and pictures for us to enjoy during our own trip. Thank you so much!”

About: **I don't charge for additional pets!! I’ve always been an animal enthusiast growing up in the country I did whatever I could to be around animals constantly. In our home we had four dogs, two hamsters, a corn snake, a half-blind horse, countless hermit crabs, and a parakeet. There is truly no animal I don't love and won't do my best to care for. Growing up with these animals I've had the privilege to be there when they were puppies/kittens/babies all the way through the end of their life, so I have extensive experience with care in every life stage. I've carried that love and passion with me into adulthood. As an adult I've worked for a year as a kennel technician at a humane society enriching, socializing, training, and advocating for dogs, cats, and small animals. I also regularly volunteer time at humane societies when I can and regularly foster cats, to date I've successfully fostered over 10 cats who are now all in happy homes. Through fostering I've experienced some harder care cases. Including fostering 3 week old sick kittens requiring syringe feedings, multiple medications, and detailed weight tracking. I've also had the privilege of fostering a hospice case who required food, liquid, and medication administration through an e-tube along with extensive monitoring. No matter what kind of care your pet needs I will do my best to ensure they receive the love, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to helping you and your furry (and maybe scaly) family members! I'm avaliable for drop-ins, boarding, and walking M-F after 2:30 PM! I can also do breakfast drop-ins during the week between 5:00-5:30 AM, or earlier if need be. I'm open and available most weekends for all pet care, I keep my schedule updated 3 months out! If you want to book further than 3 months just send me a message and I'm happy to work with you! My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable and safe. Each visit, walk, or stay is individual and entirely customizable for your pet. To ensure your pet receives the best care I require an initial meet and greet, or phone call so we can discuss what the ideal care looks like. I prioritize customizable care, communication, and enrichment to make sure your pet has the best 'staycation' ever!
“I highly recommend Pandi and her husband Tim. They both work from home and we’re very attentive to the details of my dog’s care. Their two school-age kids and little dog Scruffy made for a fun, active stay. I appreciated the photos and updates too.”

“This was Michelle’s first visit with my busy kitty crew, and I felt comfortable, and knew they were In Good hands, the moment that I met with her. This was also a last minute booking, and Michelle was gracious and accommodating. Thank you for the care, and for making a last minute trip, possible for our family, Michelle.”

“Valerie is a caring and attentive pet sitter for our dog Cali. She gave Cali her medications on time and took her on daily walks. Valerie took great care of Cali, I really appreciated the daily pictures and prompt messages. I would definitely book Valerie to care for our pets.”

“Beyond fantastic! Kasandra kept our cocker while we were away for 2 weeks. Not only was he very well cared for—he was actually better than when we left him! He is way calmer and has better manners than he had at drop off. Kasandra gave me some pointers that will help me a lot with him at home. This gal is a dog whisperer!! I could not be more grateful. Thank you Kasandra!”

“Jordan took care of our 2 cats for a week when we went away on vacation. He was really on top of things, responsible and reliable. He sent us photos daily by text to assure us everything was happening according to plan. He’s really nice too. I highly recommend him!”

About: I truly believe pets are happiest when they feel comfortable and understood, so I do my best to stick to their normal routine and give them care that fits their needs. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive, and I take instructions seriously, whether that means feeding schedules, walks, medication, or just knowing what helps your pet feel most at ease. I’m comfortable caring for younger pets who need consistency and older pets who need extra gentleness and patience. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, so you can be away with peace of mind.

About: I understand that cats need more time to ease up to a new person. I am patient, careful, and understand their body language. I have genuine love for every pet and love every experience I have with each. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved.
“Carmen was just the person we needed to give us peace of mind knowing our cat was cared for while we were away for the week. She followed instructions provided, asked follow up questions for clarification when needed, and showed great patience as our cat was quite shy for the first few days.”

“Megan was fantastic with my cat Norman. Norman is a diabetic cat who can be aggressive with strangers when they try to give insulin, so it's often tough to find sitters who can manage him. I was so happy with how patient and compassionate Megan was with him. She was extremely reliable and a great communicator, and was able to make sure he got his insulin on time everyday. I would really highly recommend Megan, you can definitely trust her to take great care of your pet!”

“Juliana was great with my cat! She was communicative and flexible, and she did her best to get my cat to eat her food (which is honestly a struggle). It seems like they had fun together, and she even got Dulce to practice the tricks I taught her.”

“We hired Jessica for a long weekend while we were on vacation. Jessica went above and beyond for our two cats and sent lots of pictures! I would highly recommend her and definitely book again!”

“Sydney showed up at 8am before we left for our day to Disneyland. We acquainted her with our two dogs and they took to her right away.. Sydney really has a way with dogs. They both loved her so much, immediately. Our dog situation isn’t easy. We have a four year-old American bully and a one year-old very energetic pitbull who’s so much fun however, for the time being we’re keeping both dogs separate and Sydney kept both of our dogs, safe & clean, and even though Henny had an accident, Sydney cleaned up everything & was even able to feed her and get her back in her crate safe safely. Our family is so grateful to Sydney for taking such incredible care of our family dogs! Thank you!”

About: I’ve owned a menagerie of pets since I was 12 years old. I’ve owned cats, dogs, rodents, birds, you name it! As an aspiring veterinarian who had an amazing internship last summer and someone who has owned many senior animals, I am able to accommodate special medical needs as long as you leave me clear instructions on how to care for your fur baby. I am currently a full-time student and part-time veterinary assistant, but I do not have any other commitments outside of that! Depending on my daily academic schedule, I can typically fit in brief visits in the early morning, and longer visits in the evening during weekdays. I’m available on weekends almost any time! I will follow any instructions left to me to a T. If there is something I’m unsure about, I will be sure to ask clients before taking any drastic actions (unless it is truly an emergency).

“Sydney is absolutely fantastic! My little pup is very shy around new people but within a day or two, he warmed up to Sydney and felt very comfortable with her. She is super responsive, communicative, and provides great rover cards. I love receiving her updates immediately following her drop ins!”

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dina! Time and time again, she has gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make things work with her schedule. She is incredibly dependable, flexible, and genuinely caring. On one occasion, she even carried cat litter up three flights of stairs because they needed it, something she absolutely didn’t have to do, but did without hesitation. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our cats are in the hands of someone who truly cares about their comfort and well-being. Thank you Dina!!!!”

I am familiar with training animals and am not afraid of a challenge. I do not currently have any obligations, so my schedule is completely open and I am available to care for your pets at any time. I try to create a safe and welcoming environment for the animals, making them feel at home while making sure they are safe and cared for.

I’m a college student who is home for the summer that loves to walk and exercise while hanging out with your furry family member! I’m free in the mornings until 12pm, Tuesday-Saturday. I am open to dog sitting and dog walking during that time. If needed, I’m free after 9pm most days as well for dog sitting or walking! I’ve always had pets in my home and have learned over the years and growing up the responsibility a pet is. Your dog/cat is part of the family and they should be treated like that by everyone!

“Ally expertly and confidently took on our 3 month old puppy for a long day, and it went even better than I expected. Cannot thank her enough and highly recommend her.”

“Ann E. was a great sitter! I had a day-long event for work and reached out to Ann just a few days ahead to take care of my dog, Beau. She was super accommodating and even let me drop my dog off at 6am. Throughout the day, Ann sent me pictures of Beau looking super happy. She also walked him multiple times and gave me written updates on how Beau was doing. Once I picked him up, he was extremely happy and did not exhibit any characteristics of anxiety. I would gladly have Ann take care of my dog again. I would also recommend Ann for any folks looking for a sitter :)”

About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. Starting at 14, I volunteered in local vet clinics and wildlife rehab centers, gaining hands-on experience with everything from cats and dogs to peacocks, horses, goats, snakes, fish, birds, and cattle. At UC Davis, I deepened my care skills while working at the world-renowned Vet Hospital, tending to cats and dogs during the swing shift. I also worked with campus goats, pigs, sheep, fish, cattle, and horses—and even fostered cats for the hospital. Now in my 30s, I’m an education professional and dedicated pet mom to both cats and dogs. I continue to care for friends’ and neighbors’ pets with the same compassion, attention, and responsibility that’s guided me my whole life. I’m certified in Cat & Dog CPR & First Aid, and Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/AED/First Aid, and have emergency care experience with animals large and small. I’m calm under pressure, reliable, and always communicate clearly—your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'm currently taking a break from teaching, and being a full-time stay-at-home mama to my 3 year old daughter and 6 month old son. I have plenty of time to care for your furry family member. Please note that at this time, we are seeking families whose pets are comfortable around toddlers and babies. I have a fully fenced yard, and a park just around the corner from my house for those whose furry friends enjoy a stretch, walk, or playtime! I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.
“Anna, was fantastic for my 16 yr old Chihuahua mix dog. Very understanding of Chica’s limitations and seemed to enjoy my old girl. Sent nice pictures and kept me updated on Chica’s day. I could tell my dog enjoyed being there. Anna’s dog experience was evident. I would definitely use her again when I travel to Davis area again. Very comfortable with my dog in her care.”

Feel so fortunate to have someone like Kathleen take care of my Coco as if she were her own.”

“She is an amazing pet sitter! She is great with my dog, is very reliable, and I always know that my dog is safe with her and having fun! She walks my dog, throws the ball for her and lets her get energy out and use the bathroom while I’m at work and I always know she’s in good hands. She’s great at communication and is really flexible about what time she comes over. I highly recommend her!!”

“Carmen has been a terrific dog walker for our two hounds. They were practically smiling in the photos she’d send us each day. 5 stars and would definitely recommend to anyone in the Davis area looking for assistance with their pets.”

“Suhani took wonderful care of my corgi, Willy, for a few hours, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. She went above and beyond by baking homemade dog treats for him, taking him on a nice walk, and showering him with plenty of love and attention. When I picked Willy up, he was happy, relaxed, and pleasantly tired—the perfect sign that he had a fun and enriching time. It's clear that Suhani genuinely cares about dogs and treats them like her own. I would absolutely trust her with Willy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, thoughtful, and reliable pet sitter.”

I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m available anytime and any day during the summer. I have a flexible schedule, so I can spend plenty of time caring for your pets. For morning visits, please let me know in advance! Pet’s safety and emotions are my top priority. In a client’s home, I will follow the pet’s usual routine to keep them comfortable, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I clean up after them, make sure they have fresh water, and provide plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of the home space and always leave it as I found it. If pets are staying with me, they’ll have a safe, clean, and calm environment where they can relax, play, and feel comfortable.
“Esmerilda is an absolutely fantastic person and cares immensely for our dog. She has been our weekly dog walker for a little over 6 months--Our dog is a rescue and was quite difficult in the beginning, but Esmerilda has done a lot to help train and rehabilitate her. She also has done house sitting for us. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with their dogs.”

About: I have been a dog lover ever since I was young and I got my first dog when I was 7. I took care of him until he left me. I feel like all animals around me are my best friends. I also volunteered in a non governmental organization in the Philippines to help out with animals who are in need and needs love and attention. Interned in a pet clinic which taught me how to prepare their medicine and inject them in their IV lines If only I could adopt all those animals who need a home I would rush to any animal shelter and provide everything they need. I think that’s what makes me different from other sitters and walkers because in the future I want to be a veterinarian and save animals. It has been my dream to help these lovely creatures. I’m currently a full time veterinary assistant who works Monday to Friday. I have an hour lunch so if its close or they are staying with me, I can swing by and check in on them. During weekends, I am available. I provide a safe environment by dog/cat proofing my place. I am very particular about making sure they don’t get into absolutely anything. These pets are treated like my own. Under my watch, they are treated the best care they possibly can get.
“Kathleen took great care of my cat while I was away. She kept me updated on her and made sure to spend lots of time with her. Definitely will be booking with Kathleen next time I’m away!”

“Erika was super sweet and communicative. She took Juno out for walks and gave frequent updates with pictures. She made sure Juno was comfortable and took great care of her. Would definitely recommend.”
