“Zoe was super flexible and great with our new pup. She communicated well and took time to come meet him when we booked last minute. We look forward to using her again!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of Sparrow, Haze, and Champagne. I was able to enjoy my vacation with peace of mind. All instructions were followed, and you my cats were in good hands. I would recommend.”

“Elise did a fantastic job watching our elderly, very particular dog. He normally is very scared of strangers, and will sometimes not go outside for walks with sitters. Elise did a great job of gaining his trust and getting him out! She was very accommodating, and on time.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and calm, reliable presence around animals of all types. I have a background in environmental education and service through AmeriCorps, where I developed patience, strong communication skills, and a love for caring for others, including our four-legged friends. I’m especially good with dogs that need consistency and routine, including puppies who are still learning and senior dogs who need a gentle, attentive touch. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I take pride in being dependable, clean, and respectful of your home and your pet’s needs. Whether it’s getting the zoomies out on a long walk or keeping an older dog comfortable and relaxed, I’m here to help your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I like having structure in my day, and pet care fits naturally into that. Whether it’s morning walks, feeding routines, or playtime, I enjoy building my schedule around giving pets the attention they need. I’m active and responsible, so making time for walks, check-ins, and quality time with animals feels easy and rewarding. Plus, being around animals helps me de-stress and stay grounded—so it’s something I genuinely look forward to, not just a task to check off. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment that matches the pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions—whether that’s giving medication, keeping a puppy on track with training, or making sure a senior dog gets their quiet time. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure to leave everything clean and in order. My goal is always to help pets feel secure and loved, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.

“Dina did a fantastic job taking care of our cat. She was very responsive and a great communicator. We felt confident our cat was in good hands and reassured by the detailed notes/photos provided.”

About: I grew up around dogs, and always knew I would want one of my own. I finally adopted my beagle rescue mix, Busy, three years ago! Being a dog mom has deepened my love for all creatures and I value any time I get to spend with all types of furry friends! I have experience with puppy training, administering medications, senior care, and more :) I am a graduate student at UCD currently on summer break! My research schedule is very flexible so I would love to come care for your puppy anytime of day :) I am happy to come take your dog for a mini adventure, hang out at your house, or anything in between! If your dog would enjoy a furry friend, my dog can tag along or she can stay at home. I have experience with crate training dogs, walking/playing with reactive dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dog for with more than 5 years. I personally have two dogs in the house which are 10 lbs and 30 lbs. I’ve successfully trained 3 puppies in the past 5 years and also fostered before for a rescue. I’ve also been providing boarding service for my friends with at least 6 dogs, pictures are included in my profile. All the dogs will be separated when I’m out, and basic training can be provided if owner requests. I’ve successfully taking care of 5 dogs at one time including two puppies. I’m a recent graduate at UC Davis, and currently WFH all day. I will walk dogs twice a day and give them bathroom break at least 4-5 times every day. I have a fenced yard in the house. All the dogs will be separated when I’m not at home. For safety reasons, dogs will stay in the crate when humans are not around but they can be on furniture once humans are presented.

About: I have been dog sitting since I was 17, spent the night at houses with animals, provided walks, food, baths and playtime. Many clients have asked me back. I have worked with both cats and dogs. I also grew up with cats and dogs and know how to care for them well. I am currently on summer break here in Davis with a pretty open schedule. Please reach out and we can coordinate a time that works with both of us! A clean and safe environment that is comfortable for both the animals and myself. Has parking, preferably fenced for extra safety, neighbors who are willing to communicate with me.

About: I just graduated from UC Davis and I am looking for more opportunities to apply my animal behavior skills. I have been working at the UC Davis Vet hospital for 2 years and have been pet sitting since I was 12!! I have experience with walks and home visits. I specialize in long walks to tire out those crazy pups! I am free every week day and Saturday at anytime! There are some weeks in the month where I participate in Field Research on birds, so may be gone at certain times. I can usually work around your schedule and what your pet(s) may need! I am capable with dealing with large or small dogs and can easily handle their different energy levels. I like to send pictures and write down our daily activities if you decide to choose me for overnights or check ins. For our walks I can tell you the routes I may walk on and if there are areas, people, or dogs you’d like me to avoid or be closer to! I will care for your pets as if they were my own!

“Sydney is very personable and did an excellent job caring for our very energetic rottweiler as well as our senior kitty. She was on time, trust worthy and responsible and just a kind positive person. I would trust her again in a heartbeat with my pets!”

“Misha did a fantastic job taking care of my cat while I was out of town! I highly recommend her :)”

About: Since I was 5, I've cared for a variety of family pets including cats, rats, turtles, and dogs ranging in size from miniature Pomeranian to Great Dane. In the past few years, I'm proud to have been the dedicated cat- and dog- sitter for my roommate and friends. I have experience with all ages: I'm no stranger to teething or to diapers and pills. I'm so excited to meet your furry friends! I currently work part-time, so I'm free nights and most mornings, and I have some weekdays off. I'm happy to work with you and your pet's schedule to make sure everyone is happy! Your pet’s safety, well-being, and happiness are my top priorities. While no one can replace you, I do my best to keep things as familiar and comforting as possible while you’re away. Let me know your routines, preferences, and any special quirks! I'm here to keep your pet feeling secure and loved until you're home again.

About: Hi! My name is Tenaya and I'm currently a graduate student at UC Davis. I grew up around animals and now I have a cat named Gnocchi. I worked as a veterinary assistant for three years, so I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and I'm capable of administering medications. I also have experience taking care of a range of exotic animals from working at an animal sanctuary. As a student, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I can usually create availability during the day, depending on your pet's needs. As someone who has worked with animals for several years, I understand that each pet is unique and may require special care and attention. I really love animals and will do my best to care for your pet as you would!

About: I grew up in multi dog homes with large and small breeds (a Lab, a Weimie, a GSP, and 2 frenchies). I have PLENTY of experience walking, feeding, playing, cleaning up after, and interpreting body language of dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs in every life stage including puppies and seniors. Having a dog of my own hasn’t been feasible since moving to Davis for various reasons but I miss having furry companions! I’ve been getting my fix by walking and sitting for my friends and coworkers as well as volunteering with the “Barks and Rec” program at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter. An awesome program where shelter dogs get some much needed time out of the shelter and in front of potential adopters. The German Shepherd (named Dexter) in my profile picture was my last dog through the program and we had a lovely time walking along the American River. I work full time as a researcher in the agricultural biotech space. My hours are a bit flexible but usually hover around the 9am-4pm range. On weekdays, I’d be available for drop in visits/walks in the morning before work and in the afternoons after work. If necessary, a lunchtime visit may be feasible. Weekends are very flexible! You know your pet best! I’m most comfortable following your tried and true routines and rules so you and your pup can feel comfortable and at ease knowing I’m caring for them exactly as you would.

“Jessica was the perfect sitter for our cats! She exceeded all of our expectations and was very kind. We will certainly be requesting her again.”

About: I always wanted to have a dog but my current situation does not allow me to do so easily. Thanks for Rover so that I can walk your dog while you need someone to take him or her for a walk. : ) Um.... should I mention I'm a working professional with no criminal record? Oh! And I personally have two cats. I am 100% working remotely so usually free during early morning, lunch, or evenings. If it’s close to home, I can also drop by multiple times a day. All fur babies need love and attention. Even though we don’t speak our pets’ languages, they can feel the love from us ❤️ it’s that simple

“Bray was great! Very communicate and took lots of adorable pictures. Would book again :))”

“He was super well taken care of. Very happy boy. Booked last minute and had no issues”
