About: I have always had a deep love and respect for animals of all kinds. This led me to get a degree in zoology and now I’m working at UC Davis animal science. I have owned and cared for a variety of animals including small and large dogs, reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. Currently I have a playful sweet husky-staffy mix named Astrid for your pet to play with if interested! I currently work at UC Davis in the animal science department so I am most free in the early mornings and afternoons on weekdays as well as weekends. About: What really sets me apart is how much I truly care. I have two dogs of my own, a Pitbull/Great Dane mix and a German Shorthaired Pointer, so I know how much love, patience, and energy pets need. I also help care for my grandma, who has dementia, which has taught me to be extra gentle, attentive, and understanding. I bring that same kind of warmth and care to every pet I meet, treating them like family from the start. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making time for in my daily routine. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I love staying active, so getting outside for walks is something I look forward to, and I also enjoy spending quiet time with pets who simply want company. I make it a priority to be dependable, follow each pet's routine closely, and provide regular updates so owners can feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. About: I grew up with dogs and would oftentimes feed and walk them. I also helped my friends take care of their pets and pet sat for them as well. I am free anytime Fridays-Sundays and can stop by in the mornings and afternoons before, after, and in between classes. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher but I can still make them work. I like to spend as much time with them as I can, either sitting with them, playing with them, going out for walks, and feeding them at times instructed by the owners. I also often like to do chores such as sweeping/vacuuming and tidying up spaces in the house.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with about five years of hands-on pet sitting experience. Growing up around animals has given me a natural comfort with them, and over the years I've cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Some of the breeds I've looked after include Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Beagles, Corgis, and plenty of wonderful mixed breeds. I've also cared for cats here and there—and while I'm slightly allergic, that has never stopped me from giving them the love and attention they deserve. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for nine pets at the same time alongside my girlfriend: two cats, three adult rescue dogs, and four brand-new puppies. It definitely kept us busy, but it reinforced how much I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure each one receives the care, patience, and attention they need. I know how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I recently graduated from UC Davis and am currently in an in-between stage before starting the next chapter of my career. That means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or your cat prefers a calm companion, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I currently live in an apartment complex in Davis with no fenced in yard but a lot of great walking paths nearby as well as a big park for some running around if they want to play some ball! There are also no other pets in the home.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for many types of dogs, and it has always been more of a passion than a job. I will always care for and love your dog like one of my own! I currently work part-time and am available daily in the afternoons (after about 1 PM) for check-ins, walks, feedings, and more. My schedule is flexible in the early mornings, evenings, and on weekends. I am very detail-oriented and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I make sure they are well cared for and receive plenty of love and attention. I approach every dog with a calm demeanor, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for them so they can feel safe, relaxed, and at ease in my care.

About: We are excellent dog, cat, bird, poultry, reptile, and fish caretakers as we have raised most of these, and a few years ago, we had a thriving Rover business taking care of folks' animal babies. We can take care of medications if your pet needs: We have administered medicine to most of the animals on our list, including oral medication for a rooster and injections for a snake. We have had some experience in training our current dog as a service animal. While we have not had the chance to care for farm animals on our own, we love them and have had experience being around them (horses, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, alpaca). Animals, plants, gardens, farms, and home-care are all in our wheelhouse and are the foundations to our lives. If you are looking to have your fur baby stay with us, we have a large home with a fenced backyard. Our German Shepherd loves to play with other dogs, and we take him and our guests to local dog parks or fenced fields to play ball and or frisbee. We take care of our guests exactly how we want our pup to be taken care of! I work part time remotely and part time I will need to be in the field. What that means is a lot of the time, I will be in the home, hanging with your furry, feathered, or scaly baby, working on my laptop. During the times I need to work outside of the home, my 19 year old daughter (who has been doing Rover with me since she was 11) will give the best care in my place. I have a thriving Airbnb business in my home for over a decade, so I have a ton of experience and mindset on home-care: I treat other folks' pets and homes as well as I treat my own. I make it point to keep my clients connected via photos and updates. If I am providing boarding in my home, our 4 year old German Shepherd will love to play with your pup. If I am providing sitting in your home, then my pup will stay home unless requested for a playmate in your home.

About: I have three cats and one dog of my own! I’m used to all and any antics they can get up to. I’ve got a crazy routine for my pets, so no requests are too much for me :) Typically I am free in the morning or afternoon most days. My weekends are usually free with a usual trip to the Saturday farmers market when it happens. I regularly take care of my cats which includes feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, cleaning their areas, brushing them, and generally heeding their every need. I like to make enrichment toys using cardboard boxes/paper towel tubes or by teaching them tricks like spin and high five! When taking dogs out, I try to make sure to wipe their paws down with a wet paper towel prior to entering the house, especially after going in more muddy areas. I like going at the dogs pace on walks whether that be sniffing around a bunch or taking a jog around the neighborhood until they get tired! I used to have a cat that required medication, so I’m familiar with giving pills and liquid meds to cats.

About: I've had multiple dogs all my life (all shelter rescues of all sizes and temperaments) and cared for them up into their senior years. From unique feeding routines to walks/runs in the early morning, to fetch, tug-of-war, midday potty breaks, and cuddles, I've done it all! I've also raised and fostered several litters of rescue kittens to be adopted, from bottlefeeding to litterbox training and handling practice. I am well learned in cleaning litterboxes, prepping midday snacks, and providing love and attention for kitties of all ages. I provide runs and walks for various dogs several days a week and house-sit on occasion during the summer. I also drop in to play with, feed, or entertain dogs whose families are away for long periods of time during the day. Because each pet is unique, I ensure clear communication of expectations from the pet's family prior to any walking or sitting. I always carefully monitor pets for signs of stress, discomfort, or injury and am prepared to take action in the event of emergencies. I maintain regular communication with pet families when they're out of town (send pictures and updates of their pets) and organize my weekly walking schedule frequently to ensure convenience for both me and the client. As someone with pets and a love for animals, I hold myself to a high standard to make sure every animal is comfortable and thriving with any walk, run, or visit.

About: I've owned multiple dogs from seniors to puppies and I will treat your pet with the same care I treat my own. At my house they will be able to play and relax to their heart's content. If I am not working from home my husband is. So your pet will be able to freely go in and out as they please, with some pets and playing in between! I have a fenced yard and a lab mix to keep your dog company. I can give medicine, kennel, or care for your dog and their schedule any way you need.
