“Lindsay was incredible to Cooper! Pup cups, walks and all the snuggles. He was a happy boy and very clearly loved on. We will continue to ask Lindsay to watch our fur baby. Thank you Lindsay!”

“Jessica was wonderful! Mollie loves other dogs so she had a blast playing with Jessica’s two dogs and other dogs that came to visit. It was such a relief not having to worry if she was being well cared for. I would use Jessica again!”

“Gustavo was amazing! He sent us plenty of pictures and videos to keep us updated and to make sure our dog was happy and comfortable the entire time. He took her on daily walks and gave her plenty of time to play and run in the yard. We will absolutely reach out to him again whenever we need someone to watch our dog! Highly recommend Gustavo!!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hand-on experience caring for pets of my own. We currently have a friendly dog and a cat, and over the years I’ve cared for a variety of other pets as well. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. As a reliable person, I’ll treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a reliable routine, I’m happy to provide loving care and keep you updated while you’re away. As a stay-at-home mom to three wonderful kids, I’m home throughout the day, which means your pet will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and care. Our schedule allows for regular walks, outdoor time, and lots of love and companionship, so your furry family member will never feel lonely. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe and happy, and I’ll care for them like they’re one of my own. Our home has a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play. We also have a friendly Doberman and a cat who get along very well with each other. Our Doberman is gentle, well-behaved, and loves making new friends. We also have a walking trail nearby, so your dog will enjoy plenty of walks, exercise, and outdoor time during their stay.
“It’s always a great sign when your picky little pup pulls you to the sitters door! My two pups had another great stay with Carolina, this is our third time. I love the daily pictures and updates while we are gone. They always come home tired and happy! I will definitely use her again!”

“Nicole did a phenomenal job with our dog, Flash. He has a lot of anxiety, but Nicole managed to make him feel comfortable and let him adjust on his own time. I will definitely have her baby sit Flash in the future!”

“Jing D. Was awesome! Both my beagle and mini Aussie had so much fun! She took them out for walks everyday and sent us pictures daily! My and my girlfriend had peace of mind on our trip because both of our dogs were in good hands! Her dog seemed great and playful as well! We would definitely recommend her! If you are looking for someone reliable and good with dogs!”

“Dani and Graham were fantastic with Kobe. They took very good care of my little Kobe. Kept me updated with pictures and videos. Dani is definitely easy to work with. Would highly recommend her.”

“Sierra and Matt took great care of my baby while I was out of town! I definitely plan to book with them again. They kept me updated and at ease with daily pics and videos (overthinking dog mom here). My dog is very social. He loves kids, people, and other dogs. So I love the fact that he had playmates and was able to bond with their kids and dog as well. I know he had a blast and will be returning again :)”

“I can’t say enough about Amy and family and how well she cared for our pup while we were away. She was sure to familiarize herself with Junie’s commands, daily schedule and routine all to make sure she was comfortable without us. Communication was great with daily updates and pics, including things she knew I would be worried about (like how she slept the first night)! Junie was well loved and well taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely contact Amy again for any Rover needs in the future!”

“Fergie is incredibly sweet, caring, and dependable. She is flexible and makes things very simple when I can be a little over complicated especially when we are getting ready for a family trip with a 10 month old! I can't recommend her enough, and I have actually sent her Rover profile to friends looking for dog sitters! Whenever our pup sees her he forgets about us immediately lol It stings a little, but I am so happy because I know he's well cared for with her! ❤️🥰🐕”

“Rayna & Zach took great care of our pup! They were so kind, flexible, and easy to work with! My pup didn’t want to come home with us when we got there. I would definitely recommend them and their dogs are great as well 😊”

Saranya took care of our pup for 4 nights and I felt comfortable leaving him in her care. She is very knowledgeable, and kept us updated about our anxious pup. She went above and beyond to make my pup a comfortable stay. We will definitely board our pup with Saranya again!

Kelly was amazing! It's easy to see how much she loves dogs, and she cared for ours like they were her own. She was very communicative and responsive, providing plenty of updates and photos, and lucky us — she was available for a last minute booking! I highly recommend Kelly!

Bryan and Kellie are at the top of their game. I have the utmost confidence in their pet care skills. They treat Louie with love and kindness. I received daily updates on my furbaby and his antics along with pictures. I highly recommend Bryan and Kellie for your pet sitting needs

Camille was great with our senior, Billie. She sent texts and photos or videos regularly to keep us updated on how he was doing on this very extended stay. When we picked him up you couldn’t even tell he had been in a new place. He wasn’t anxious at all and didn’t even seem excited to see us LOL! Camille obviously spoiled him during his stay and he would have rather had stayed there than go home. Billie usually is anxious and panting when we have picked him up from standard boarding facilities. We would highly recommend Camille!

Laurie took wonderful care of our two little dogs while we were away. They were happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable with her. She sent just the right amount of updates, which gave us peace of mind without feeling overwhelming. We wouldn't hesitate to have her watch our dogs again and highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
