“Ashley took great care of my 10 year old golden. After the initial Meet & Greet, I was confident that I could trust her with his care. He was wagging his tail & happy when we got to her door for his boarding. Ashley sent me pictures & updates throughout his visit, which was a great comfort to me. He was happy & healthy when we picked him up. This was the first time we had left him with someone other than family. I would not hesitate to use Ashley again!”

“Hanna was very kind, and willing to help us at the last minute before the Christmas holiday. My dog Cooper was very nervous, and Hanna did her best to make sure he was comfortable during his short stay. Thank you, Hanna!”

“Kelly took wonderful care of my dog, Jeze, and I couldn’t be more grateful! Jeze can be a bit particular about eating but Kelly went above and beyond and hand fed her. Kelly was patient, attentive, and clearly experienced with animals. She kept me updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious that Jeze was happy and comfortable. I had total peace of mind while I was away, and I would absolutely trust Kelly again. Highly recommend!”

“Alicia and her family welcomed our dog with open arms. She sent us regular updates with pictures and videos. Cora enjoyed her stay and we are so grateful for a place for her to go when we need to leave town!”

“Melanie was simply amazing! We had a unique situation where we needed care for our dog and she was able to care for Ace in a pinch! She took great care of him, including making an ornament for Christmas 🥹 We will definitely be using her in the future.”

“I had a great experience with Saranya. They were communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about my pet’s well-being. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My pet came home happy and well cared for. “We are so happy and grateful for Leanne! She was absolutely amazing looking after and taking care of our big boy Oakley! She sent us daily updates with photos and we can definitely tell he had such an awesome time with Leanne! Highly recommended and we can’t wait to board Oakley with her again!”

“Christine was so kind and flexible with drop off and pick up! & our pups loved her and her dog Koko who is also a sweetie! They stayed a week with her and seemed very loved and happy when we picked them up!”

“My dogs absolutely love her and Snicker. She has the perfect yard for them to roam around with no tick or flea. Teresa watched them like a hawk making sure they don't eat anything in the yard they're not supposed to. She gives us update throughout the boarding time. She will be my default whenever we need to board our dogs going out of town.”

About: I’m a devoted dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I raised one of my English Bulldogs through all 13 years of his life and currently care for my active four-year-old bulldog every day. My experience has taught me how important patience, consistency, and personalized care are in helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine and personality so they feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away. Whether your pup needs walks, cuddle time, companionship, or playtime, I’ll treat them like my own dog and make sure they receive plenty of love and attention. I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog and give you peace of mind while you’re away! 😊 I work remotely from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and consistent care throughout the day. My flexible schedule makes it easy for me to accommodate walks, potty breaks, playtime, feedings, and companionship. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends and love making pets feel comfortable, active, and cared for while their owners are away Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I create a calm, loving, and clean environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, needs, and personality to make sure they are comfortable at all times. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are in good hands.
“Smalls loved staying at Stacy’s! Smalls is usually scared of everything. As soon as he met Stacy, he was comfortable and happy, as were we! Stacy makes herself available for any time of drop off/pick up and sent pictures of his whole stay. Stacy is very reliable and trustworthy. We will definitely see if she is available for our dog’s future needs!”

“Rachel did a wonderful job taking of Patrick while I was on vacation. Great communication throughout and I felt very confident and safe that Patrick was well looked after. Thank you!”

“"Brandon was very good with our dog, who is large and can have high energy. He asked for any specific care details and provided brief updates throughout our trip. He kindly accommodated an extra day for us on short notice when we had to delay travel due to inclement weather. Would recommend! We will definitely use Brandon again in the future, Moto had a great time!"”

About: Hi! I’m Alizée, a stay-at-home mom in St. Peters offering loving, personalized in-home dog care in a calm and safe family setting. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day, which means your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, supervised playtime, and regular potty breaks—no long hours alone. At the very maximum and on special occasions, I may be gone a maximum of 2h a day. I share my home with two sweet senior female Chihuahuas, so caring for dogs is already part of my daily life. Their gentle presence helps create a calm, dog-friendly environment, and I’m very attentive to comfort, routines, and each dog’s individual needs. I also bring a healthcare background to my pet care: I worked for 6 years as a nursing assistant and phlebotomist, which means I’m comfortable and experienced with special care needs, including oral medications, injections/shots, and close monitoring for senior or medically sensitive pets. What your dog will enjoy here: 🐾 A safe fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks - no chemicals are used in our yard and we remove dog's waste every other day. 🌳 Daily walks and outings near our local park 🏡 A cozy home environment—never a kennel 📸 Daily photo and video updates ❤️ Plenty of affection, supervision, and personalized care I intentionally keep the number of dogs I host to one at the time (or multiple from the same family) so every guest gets the attention they deserve and feels safe and comfortable. I’m happy to care for small to medium dogs, including puppies who aren't fully potty trained yet, adults, and seniors, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet before the first stay to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. Make sure your puppy is comfortable with other small dogs, and children. I’d love to welcome your pup into our home! Feel free to ask me any questions, I love what I do and I want my clients to know their puppy will be safe and properly cared for at my house. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available all day to care for your fur baby. Rarely away more than 2h at the time, your pup will have all the attention and playtime he needs. Our family wakes up early the morning, before 6.30am so if your puppy sleeps in a kennel, he will be out of it at sunrise. If the weather permits, we go for daily walks at the park and/or in the neighborhood. I adapt my days to your animal. So if your puppy needs more or less walk, more or less yard play, or any specific care, this is not a problem. My clients usually come with their feeding instructions and a feeding schedule for their puppy, and I will be applying all the rules they see fit for their animal. I like to keep your animal on the same routine as at your house to allow less stress on them. I have a fenced yard, two elderly female chihuahuas and a child at home. Dogs are never left unattended in the yard, I am always with them. I can easily crate your puppy if needed and I am familiar with the app FI that some of my clients already use. As a healthcare professional for several years, I am comfortable caring for older or sick animals. I provide daily pictures and videos to ease your stress while you are away. We do not use any chemicals in our yard and a very limited amount inside the house. Most of our space is cleaned using steam water. We also allow our own pets on the furnitures and your pup will receive the same privilege if this is in accordance with your own rules. We practice separate feeding time/station and separate sleeping area from our own dogs. Our house is equipped with cameras, inside and outside, allowing me to always have an eye on our animal if needed. During walks I do not allow contact with other dogs, and we stay on paved trails (no wooden areas or swamps) or neighborhood sidewalks. Unless it is an emergency, I do not take the liberty to transport my client's dog in the car. *exception will be made if you ask me to do so*
“Elisa was an amazing dog sitter for Coco! From the start, she was friendly, communicative, and clearly experienced with dogs. Coco can sometimes be a little shy at first, but Elisa was patient and quickly made her feel comfortable and cared for. Throughout the stay, Elisa kept me updated with messages and photos, which really gave me peace of mind. It was clear Coco was happy, well-exercised, and getting lots of attention. When I picked her up, she was relaxed and in great spirits. I’m so grateful for the care Elisa gave Coco and would absolutely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend Elisa to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive dog sitter!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Saint Louis
This was our first time leaving Gerti with a non-family member and using Rover. Dawn was very responsive with the initial request and willingness to have a Meet & Greet. We left Gerti with Dawn for about 16 days and Dawn was GREAT with Gerti. Dawn kept us updated with texts and pictures. We would definitely book with Dawn again!!

Kim did a fantastic job taking great care of our dog Lucy! It was clear when we met Kim that providing great care for Lucy was important to her and Lucy came home very happy. Kim provided lots of pictures and regular updates over Lucy‘s three day stay, which I appreciated so much. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that Lucy was being well cared for!

Hannah was very sweet and accommodating! She went above and beyond to take care of my dog and I couldn't be happier with the service she provided. She kept me updated throughout the stay with photos and updates, which put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter - she is the best!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
