“Molly is so great! She took excellent care of our lab and sent us pictures & notes throughout her stay. It was great to see & hear how she was doing. Violet came home from her stay healthy and ready to play - back to her normal self in no time. We will definitely use Molly again in the future.”

“Wendy and Kurt are fantastic! They took good care of our boy. I’m forever grateful for how much they went out of their way to give our dog his medicine and care while he was recovering from a surgery that had to be scheduled a week before his visit.”

“Teresa was wonderful. Kind and thoughtful to make sure our Maggie had a good time. Even a new friend in Snickers. Perfect experience. Thank you Teresa. Will reach out again.”

“Rayna and Zach are awesome! They took care of Reba on a holiday weekend and accepted an extra night last minute when plans changed. My pup was so happy and relaxed when she got home from playing with their dogs all weekend! I’ll definitely book them again!”

“Brandon went above and beyond with our dogs! He sent pictures and kept us updated on how they were doing. Highly recommend and will definitely use him again! Very happy with the care our dogs received.”

“Katie is just amazing - we left our puppy with her and she could not have been more caring and attentive to him. She shared numerous photos with us daily and allowed us to feel as though we were still connected with him. I could not offer a higher recommendation!! She is just wonderful!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our sweet Bennett! This was the longest we had ever left him and I was very nervous, but he was in such good hands with Rachel and her family! I would absolutely book again!”

About: Hi! I’m Alizée, a stay-at-home mom in St. Peters offering loving, personalized in-home dog care in a calm and safe family setting. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day, which means your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, supervised playtime, and regular potty breaks—no long hours alone. At the very maximum and on special occasions, I may be gone a maximum of 2h a day. I share my home with two sweet senior female Chihuahuas, so caring for dogs is already part of my daily life. Their gentle presence helps create a calm, dog-friendly environment, and I’m very attentive to comfort, routines, and each dog’s individual needs. I also bring a healthcare background to my pet care: I worked for 6 years as a nursing assistant and phlebotomist, which means I’m comfortable and experienced with special care needs, including oral medications, injections/shots, and close monitoring for senior or medically sensitive pets. What your dog will enjoy here: 🐾 A safe fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks - no chemicals are used in our yard and we remove dog's waste every other day. 🌳 Daily walks and outings near our local park 🏡 A cozy home environment—never a kennel 📸 Daily photo and video updates ❤️ Plenty of affection, supervision, and personalized care I intentionally keep the number of dogs I host to one at the time (or multiple from the same family) so every guest gets the attention they deserve and feels safe and comfortable. I’m happy to care for small to medium dogs, including puppies who aren't fully potty trained yet, adults, and seniors, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet before the first stay to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. Make sure your puppy is comfortable with other small dogs, and children. I’d love to welcome your pup into our home! Feel free to ask me any questions, I love what I do and I want my clients to know their puppy will be safe and properly cared for at my house. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available all day to care for your fur baby. Rarely away more than 2h at the time, your pup will have all the attention and playtime he needs. Our family wakes up early the morning, before 6.30am so if your puppy sleeps in a kennel, he will be out of it at sunrise. If the weather permits, we go for daily walks at the park and/or in the neighborhood. I adapt my days to your animal. So if your puppy needs more or less walk, more or less yard play, or any specific care, this is not a problem. My clients usually come with their feeding instructions and a feeding schedule for their puppy, and I will be applying all the rules they see fit for their animal. I like to keep your animal on the same routine as at your house to allow less stress on them. I have a fenced yard, two elderly female chihuahuas and a child at home. Dogs are never left unattended in the yard, I am always with them. I can easily crate your puppy if needed and I am familiar with the app FI that some of my clients already use. As a healthcare professional for several years, I am comfortable caring for older or sick animals. I provide daily pictures and videos to ease your stress while you are away. We do not use any chemicals in our yard and a very limited amount inside the house. Most of our space is cleaned using steam water. We also allow our own pets on the furnitures and your pup will receive the same privilege if this is in accordance with your own rules. We practice separate feeding time/station and separate sleeping area from our own dogs. Our house is equipped with cameras, inside and outside, allowing me to always have an eye on our animal if needed. During walks I do not allow contact with other dogs, and we stay on paved trails (no wooden areas or swamps) or neighborhood sidewalks. Unless it is an emergency, I do not take the liberty to transport my client's dog in the car. *exception will be made if you ask me to do so*
“Camille was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Luna. I truly appreciated how flexible and accommodating she was throughout the entire experience. Initially, we had planned for dog boarding, but when that didn’t work out, Camille quickly adapted and switched to in-home visits. She even made an effort to try crate options beforehand, which showed how committed she was to finding the best solution for Luna. This was a last-minute booking, and Camille was incredibly understanding—even adjusting the dates just one day before the scheduled drop-off. Her flexibility really helped reduce a lot of stress. During her visits, she kept me updated by sending videos and clearly spent quality time playing with Luna. It was very reassuring to see how happy and well cared for Luna was in her hands. Overall, Camille went above and beyond, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and flexible pet sitter.”

“My family could not thank Masha and her family enough for the wonderful care that they have shown our dog Bella. From the first meet till the time we got Bella back, it was just a wonderful, heartwarming experience to have a family take care of your beloved dog. They have been so accomodating and welcoming in every way possible and we feel so blessed to have known them. The constant updates and videos that Masha had been sending made us feel at ease and confident that our Bella was in super capable hands.”

“This was my first experience in using this site and it was 100% positive. I was nervous because one of my dogs is quite timid and had never been boarded. Typically, I have a pet sitter come into our house but that was not possible this time. I explained my concerns to Staci and she kept me informed of how they were settling in along with sending me lots of great pictures. I would definitely hire her again. She is kind, compassionate and a natural with dogs. Thank you, Staci!”

“Elisa and her family took the best care of Baxter and I would highly recommend them to watch your puppies. We were nervous as we don't usually leave Baxter but Elisa ( and family & Norman) provided loving care. She sent updates and pictures, which we loved! The sweetest part of Baxter's stay was her sons drew pictures for Baxter! I can positively say, Baxter was a loved puppy! Thank you Elisa, Family, and Norman!”

“Christine was so kind and flexible with drop off and pick up! & our pups loved her and her dog Koko who is also a sweetie! They stayed a week with her and seemed very loved and happy when we picked them up!”

“Elisabeth took fantastic care of our pup and was able to accomodate us on short notice. She communicated well and sent us lots of pictures and updates of our dog which were much appreciated!”

“Our dog spent 10 days with Sara and her family and when we picked him up he was his same happy self. Sara sent a daily picture that helped us to know he was in good hands. She even took him for a car ride :) Would definitely recommend! Thanks for taking good care of our Loki!!”

“Hanna was very kind, and willing to help us at the last minute before the Christmas holiday. My dog Cooper was very nervous, and Hanna did her best to make sure he was comfortable during his short stay. Thank you, Hanna!”

Harkiran was an amazing host and took wonderful care of our Laddu! She kept us updated with photos throughout his stay and communicated with us consistently, which gave us great peace of mind. She even gave him a bath after he decided to jump into a muddy puddle! We truly appreciated the extra care and attention she gave him. We highly recommend Harkiran to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and thoughtful pet sitter.

Brianna was amazing with my girl! She provided excellent communication throughout the entire stay and sent photos two or three times a day, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that my girl was well cared for and loved while I was away. I highly recommend Brianna to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to watch their pet!

My dog had an excellent stay with Barbara. She made us feel at ease about leaving our dog with her for a weekand and sent us daily pictures and stories about how she was doing. I think my dog had more fun during her stay than we did on our vacation 🤣. We will definitely send our dog to Barbara for our next vacation.

This was our first time leaving Gerti with a non-family member and using Rover. Dawn was very responsive with the initial request and willingness to have a Meet & Greet. We left Gerti with Dawn for about 16 days and Dawn was GREAT with Gerti. Dawn kept us updated with texts and pictures. We would definitely book with Dawn again!!

Kim did a fantastic job taking great care of our dog Lucy! It was clear when we met Kim that providing great care for Lucy was important to her and Lucy came home very happy. Kim provided lots of pictures and regular updates over Lucy‘s three day stay, which I appreciated so much. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that Lucy was being well cared for!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
