“Quick to reply and very accommodating for drop off and pickup! It was a relief to have someone watching him while on vacation where he didnt need to be crated all day! He enjoyed playing with the other dogs as well!”

“We loved having Lindsay and her family take care of Rocco. She updated up with pictures (and stories!) during his stay. He was exhausted when we got home...a sure sign of a great weekend.”

“This was our first time leaving our Rottie while we went on vacation. I think it is safe to say, as long as Kirsten is in town and available we found our sitter when we go on vacation. I was nervous about using an app but from the first conversation those nerves subsided. Our puppy was so happy and she was so well taken care of!! So thankful for the peace of mind I was able to have while on vacation, knowing our fur baby was so well taken care of!”

“Brandon did great with Bailey! I could tell she really had fun. Met her bestyyy ZZ and was pretty bummed about going home as soon as we put her in the car😆 won’t stop whining as soon as we got home. Will definitely book brandon again! Real soon.”

“Rachel was very easy to work with! She was always quick to responding and sent tons of pictures keeping me updated throughout the stay. I would recommend and use again, our dog had a great time!”

“I think if my dog had a choice, he may have chosen to stay for good! He was happy and SO well taken care of. There was more than enough good communication and pictures to assure us he was having a blast and loving life which made our time away even more relaxing. We will definitely be using this sweet family for boarding again! 👏✨️”

“I decided to give Rover a try for the first time, when my regular kennel was booked. I am SO glad I did! Katie did an amazing job taking care of my dog, who can be pretty timid around new people and situations. She sent daily pics and updates about how she was doing, which was extremely reassuring. It was obvious my pup was receiving the 5-star treatment, and knowing she was in good hands helped me to enjoy my time away from home. I highly recommend Katie, and we will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“My three chihuahuas has been with Tara now for 1 year total of two times and this visit was wonderful as well! Tara is so sweet, attentive and thoughtful throughout my babies stay. Highly recommend Tara as your sitter, great grounds too!”

“Stacy was awesome with my puppy! She definitely caters to dogs. She makes sure that your pup is comfortable and has a ton of fun. We will definitely be going back in the future!”

“Camille was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Luna. I truly appreciated how flexible and accommodating she was throughout the entire experience. Initially, we had planned for dog boarding, but when that didn’t work out, Camille quickly adapted and switched to in-home visits. She even made an effort to try crate options beforehand, which showed how committed she was to finding the best solution for Luna. This was a last-minute booking, and Camille was incredibly understanding—even adjusting the dates just one day before the scheduled drop-off. Her flexibility really helped reduce a lot of stress. During her visits, she kept me updated by sending videos and clearly spent quality time playing with Luna. It was very reassuring to see how happy and well cared for Luna was in her hands. Overall, Camille went above and beyond, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and flexible pet sitter.”

“Jing was great! She put our minds at ease leaving our dogs for the first time. We received photos and updates regularly, communication was easy and responses were quick. Jing has a tidy and calm home, which was great for our dogs, and a playful dog of her own that was a great playmate for ours. We definitely recommend Jing!”

About: I have personal experience caring for my own dogs, along with professional experience working at a dog boarding and daycare facility. Through my work, I’ve learned dog behavior, body language, attention needs, medication administration, and how to provide a safe and comfortable environment. I also have experience pet sitting and dog walking for other families, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all kinds and treating every pet with the same attention and care I give my own. I work part-time at a dog boarding and daycare facility a few days a week, so my Rover availability is based around the days I’m free and able to give your pets plenty of time and attention. On my available days, I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, walks, daytime play, and other care services based on your dog’s individual needs. I am flexible and detail oriented that each dog gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I’m happy to provide whatever care your dog needs in their home. I have two friendly, laid-back dogs of my own, and my experience working professionally in dog boarding and daycare has helped me develop strong skills in handling dogs safely and understanding their individual needs and behaviors. When caring for your pet, I’m happy to bring toys, treats, and anything else they enjoy, along with providing walks, playtime, or keeping them company. My goal is to create a clean and comfortable environment where your dog feels well cared for.
“Wendy and Kurt are fantastic! They took good care of our boy. I’m forever grateful for how much they went out of their way to give our dog his medicine and care while he was recovering from a surgery that had to be scheduled a week before his visit.”

“Fergie was amazing. Very nice and accommodating of my dogs special needs and quirks. I'm very thankful for her being able to handle my 'short notice' request. She walked them daily and sent lots of pics. My pups really love her and they will be visiting again.”

“Kirsten did a great job with our boy Pinto while we were gone. She gave daily photos and updates, and make the entire process smooth and pleasant during our last trip. We can’t wait to use her again!”

“Sierra and Matt took great care of my baby while I was out of town! I definitely plan to book with them again. They kept me updated and at ease with daily pics and videos (overthinking dog mom here). My dog is very social. He loves kids, people, and other dogs. So I love the fact that he had playmates and was able to bond with their kids and dog as well. I know he had a blast and will be returning again :)”

Drew had a great time. When he came home, he ate, and passed out snoring. That is the sign of a successful visit. Harkiran's ability to hold onto my big puppy is impressive. She was accommodating, professional and a joy to talk to. She sent videos and photos to ensure I was updated on the stay. She's asks questions, makes suggestions and listened to the things needed to make my big baby as comfortable as possible. I will definitely be calling her again and again. Do yourself a favor and give her a try, you will not be disappointed l.

I rebooked with Evan, and once again he was there for us, even with very short notice. Our travel plans changed unexpectedly and we had multiple flight delays, and Evan was incredibly flexible and accommodating through it all. I truly appreciate the care he gives Luna and the peace of mind I have knowing she is in good hands. He sends pictures, keeps me updated, and makes sure Luna is well cared for and loved. We’re so grateful for Evan and will definitely book with him again!

Amie was amazing!!! So loving and warm- and has great energy. Our little guy had some issues while we were gone (not her fault!!! He has Anxiety!) And she went WAY above and beyond to care for him- send us photos, and even took to the vet. I cannot think of anyone better!!! Simply amazing!!!

My dog had an excellent stay with Barbara. She made us feel at ease about leaving our dog with her for a weekand and sent us daily pictures and stories about how she was doing. I think my dog had more fun during her stay than we did on our vacation 🤣. We will definitely send our dog to Barbara for our next vacation.

Melissa is simply the best! She takes the best care of Bart and provides amazing updates and pics! She is attentive and caring! Wish I could give More than 5 stars! Bart gets along fantastically with her dog Abby! He comes home a happy (and somewhat worn out-yay) pup!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
