“Stacy is seriously the best. I just moved to KC from Los Angeles and was worried about finding a host in the area since there aren't very many DogVacay hosts in KC. THANK GOD I found Stacy. My dog Frankie has some resource guarding and food aggression issues toward other dogs and humans so I was very nervous about leaving him with someone new. She was patient and understanding when I was explaining the issues to her and was very good at managing situations to avoid any reactions from Frankie. I'm so grateful to have found her and 100% trust her to watch my baby boy while I'm away. She also sends the cutest photos of Frankie! Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be returning!”

“My family could not thank Masha and her family enough for the wonderful care that they have shown our dog Bella. From the first meet till the time we got Bella back, it was just a wonderful, heartwarming experience to have a family take care of your beloved dog. They have been so accomodating and welcoming in every way possible and we feel so blessed to have known them. The constant updates and videos that Masha had been sending made us feel at ease and confident that our Bella was in super capable hands.”

“I had a great experience with Saranya. They were communicative, reliable, and clearly cared about my pet’s well-being. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My pet came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our sweet Bennett! This was the longest we had ever left him and I was very nervous, but he was in such good hands with Rachel and her family! I would absolutely book again!”

“Wendy and Kurt are fantastic! They took good care of our boy. I’m forever grateful for how much they went out of their way to give our dog his medicine and care while he was recovering from a surgery that had to be scheduled a week before his visit.”

“Another great stay with Kirsten! Our pup had a great time socializing with other dogs in her care, and soaking in all the love from her kiddos during the week we were gone. 💕”

About: I have lived my whole life with dogs and I am currently a Dog Mom of 1. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes, including a summer job at a local dog + owner fitness facility and volunteering at stray rescue in STL. My pet is also a rescue, so I have experience working with dogs who need a little extra care and comfort. My main focus is to show your pet some extra love while they are patiently waiting for you to return, and to help you as a dog parent feel at peace, knowing your dog is being well taken care of. I work a full time job, but I do have the ability to work from home when needed and a flexible lunch break. I am mostly free between 7:00-8:30 AM or 6:00-9:00 PM M-F, but I am also available during lunch hours (11:00AM-2:00PM) and weekends upon request. It is important to me that I get to know both you and your pet! I want everyone to feel safe and sound during appointments. For first-time customers: I am available for phone or video calls prior to the booking date, as well as in person meet and greets (when scheduled in advance). Afterwards, we can discuss communication preferences during visits and, if requesting regular care, what days/times you would like to book in the future.
“Elisa and her family took the best care of Baxter and I would highly recommend them to watch your puppies. We were nervous as we don't usually leave Baxter but Elisa ( and family & Norman) provided loving care. She sent updates and pictures, which we loved! The sweetest part of Baxter's stay was her sons drew pictures for Baxter! I can positively say, Baxter was a loved puppy! Thank you Elisa, Family, and Norman!”

“Our dog spent 10 days with Sara and her family and when we picked him up he was his same happy self. Sara sent a daily picture that helped us to know he was in good hands. She even took him for a car ride :) Would definitely recommend! Thanks for taking good care of our Loki!!”

“Katie is AMAZING!! This was the first time Guinness stayed with someone he didn’t know. She sent me pictures of him all weekend with updates on how he was doing, which really put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my weekend away!!”

“Thanks again for having Bruce stay over for a short stay. He was definitely worn out when I picked him up! He loves getting in his exercise playing with the kids in the fenced in backyard!”

“We had someone that was supposed to watch our pups back out last minute and Yingfei stepped up and was able to watch our pups on a last minute notice! She sent plenty of updates and pics throughout their stay and they looked like they really enjoyed themselves. Would definitely rebook with Yingfei!”

“Sarah was an incredible sitter for our 2.5 yr old goldendoodle - we can't recommend her enough! She takes care in ensuring your pet is comfortable and feels at home, takes them for numerous walks / games of fetch throughout the day to ensure they are nice and tired, and keeps you updated with pictures and notes from the day. We felt that our dog was loved and engaged throughout his stay with Sarah. Her dog, Arthur, is also an incredible co-host and became fast friends with our dog during his visit! Thank you for everything, Sarah!”

“Camille was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Luna. I truly appreciated how flexible and accommodating she was throughout the entire experience. Initially, we had planned for dog boarding, but when that didn’t work out, Camille quickly adapted and switched to in-home visits. She even made an effort to try crate options beforehand, which showed how committed she was to finding the best solution for Luna. This was a last-minute booking, and Camille was incredibly understanding—even adjusting the dates just one day before the scheduled drop-off. Her flexibility really helped reduce a lot of stress. During her visits, she kept me updated by sending videos and clearly spent quality time playing with Luna. It was very reassuring to see how happy and well cared for Luna was in her hands. Overall, Camille went above and beyond, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and flexible pet sitter.”

“Our pup Callie loved her stay at Molly’s! We received updates and photos during the stay. Molly and her family cared for my dog as if she were their own. Callie enjoyed playing in the large fenced in yard, walks with the other dogs, and lots of cuddles with the family.”
“Jing was the best!! I loved all the pictures she sent me, and my dog seemed truly so happy with her! She was very sweet and kind at the drop off and pick up process. I will definitely being using her again on my next trip.”

“Colleen was so sweet and kind and I knew we were leaving our pups in the best hands! She sent lots of update photos and I could tell they were having a blast there. Would absolutely love to have her watch them in the future!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - O'Fallon
Harkiran was an amazing host and took wonderful care of our Laddu! She kept us updated with photos throughout his stay and communicated with us consistently, which gave us great peace of mind. She even gave him a bath after he decided to jump into a muddy puddle! We truly appreciated the extra care and attention she gave him. We highly recommend Harkiran to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and thoughtful pet sitter.

My dog had an excellent stay with Barbara. She made us feel at ease about leaving our dog with her for a weekand and sent us daily pictures and stories about how she was doing. I think my dog had more fun during her stay than we did on our vacation 🤣. We will definitely send our dog to Barbara for our next vacation.

Melissa is simply the best! She takes the best care of Bart and provides amazing updates and pics! She is attentive and caring! Wish I could give More than 5 stars! Bart gets along fantastically with her dog Abby! He comes home a happy (and somewhat worn out-yay) pup!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
