Ella M.

“Ella is lovely. She took pictures everyday and provided an update everyday. She left the place immaculate and she's just such a delight. I already have two other dates I want to book her for because that's how amazing she is. She took care of a crazy Husky and all his cats brothers and sister. She followed all my directions and was just amazing. You can't go wrong with her.”

About: I’ve had a deep love for animals my whole life, and have been in the professional pet care industry for 3 (almost 4) years now. I have worked with a variety of animals; cats, dogs, rabbits, senior pets, pets with disabilities, and animals with behavioral problems. My dream is to one day own and operate a rescue/rehab center for dogs stuck in the shelter system. I am currently enrolled in an apprenticeship to earn my dog training certification, and will be full certified by January 1, 2024. Here are some examples of my experience. Pet Store: I carefully handled puppies and kittens of all sizes, properly sanitized playrooms, memorized and presented a series of warranties, discounts, statistics, and pet supplies to customers. Worked with a variety of potential pet owners and assisted in finding an animal that would best suit their lifestyle, maintained a relationship with clients after their appointments to update them on their potential pet and give advice on how to ease the transition to a new home for their puppy. Groomed puppies and kittens (baths, nail trimming, ear/eye cleaning, and de-matting), communicated concerns to kennel staff, changed the bedding and sanitized the kennels of puppies and kittens, fed animals the correct amount for their weight/age, and advocating for the animals when clients were not being safe with them. Boarding Facility: Walked up to 200 dogs a night and properly disposed of excrements, sanitized empty kennels, sanitized soiled kennels so the dogs could return to their assigned rooms, prepared food as instructed by owners, communicated effectively with pet owners about their animals’ behavior and needs, collaborated with coworkers on how to properly meet the pets needs, provided medication to the animals that needed it and prepped medication for the next day, filled out charts that specified the dog’s behaviors/needs/medications/etc., bathed animals, built trust with more shy and/or aggressive dogs, monitored the animals health, and reported to my superiors if I noticed anything off or concerning about the animals behavior/health. I was responsible for up to 35 dogs at a time in Day Care, have been trained on how to break up a dog fight both quickly and safely, know how to spot a scuffle brewing, can identify appropriate and inappropriate play between animals, and maintain calm control over the group. Veterinary Office: Built rapport with clients and got to know them and their pets needs/personalities. I was trained in basic veterinary skills such as animal CPR, minor wound/laceration treatment, administering medications orally, administering injections such as insulin, how to spot and treat overheating dogs, and was taught how to remove foreign objects from the throat in an emergent situation. I checked in clients, which entailed properly handling, weighing, and interacting with their precious pets. I safely and sanitarily transported urine/stool samples from owners to the doctor, and properly labeled and stored said samples. I handled a variety of medical supplies, disposed of sharps, and sanitized said supplies. Working with animals is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I’m not quite sure what that means for the future, but I know as long as I’m around fur babies I will be satisfied. I have my own slip lead for emergencies, carry pet deterrents to protect myself and my clients’ animal from random off leash dogs (it’s just compressed air), bring my own poo bags, carry a portable charger with me at all times so I can stay in contact with clients no matter what, and keep myself updated on animal CPR and first aid.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a young child. I have walked, watched, boarded, and fed pets for many families. I currently work full-time, but I am home every day by 4:30pm. I’m completely free in the evenings and weekends, and I am very flexible. I do live in an apartment, so it may be easier for me to take care of your pets in your own home, but that is completely dependent on your needs! :)

Haley W.

“I was very nervous about getting a sitter for my dogs because Willow has a lot of anxiety and is very reactive. I scheduled several initial visits with Haley so she could get to know Willow. I left town and felt very comfortable leaving my babies with Haley. She did great! She was very patient and kind to my Willow. I recommend Haley to anyone who is looking for a dependable and kind dog sitter. Rosana”

Jasmine A.

“Jasmine house sat with our 4 cats and small dog, she was fantastic! They all love her, even our shy cat. It’s like we never left. She responds quick to messages. We look forward to booking her again!”

Misty S.

“Misty is an amazing pet sitter! We were away for 25 days, which is a long time to be away from our dog and we were worried with how she'd do for that long. Misty took great care of her and took her on lots of adventures so she had lots to occupy her. When we got back it was clear that while she'd missed us, she'd had a great time with Misty and had got plenty of love and attention. Thank you, Misty for allowing us to enjoy our trip knowing our girl was in great hands!”

Shawna L.

“We are very satisfied with Shawna's care for our dog when we were gone for 5 days on a family vacation. She sent pictures and videos to us every day to keep us updated on how our dog was doing. Our dog looked very happy when we got home. We fully trust Shawna and would definitely use her service again in the future!”

Betty N.

“Betty was absolutely fabulous with our dog Lexi. From our initial meet and greet, Betty made both Lexi and I at ease and comfortable with our first pet sitting experience. We will definitely use her again! She is just wonderful!”

Sharon W.

“Sharon is a very attentive sitter and we would definitely book her again. She stayed at our house with our two older dogs and took excellent care of the dogs and our home. She provided plenty of updates and photos throughout the week. She is such a kind, friendly person and I know our dogs were in great hands with her.”

Phil F.

“Phil did a great job taking care of our three dogs and Guinea pig! One of the dogs is a very senior citizen, and one can be picky about food, but Phil kept everyone happy and eating. We appreciated the updates and photos we got and were able to truly relax and enjoy our vacation. Our pets were relaxed, too and not stressed by having to leave our home. We would definitely have Phil take care of them again!”

Becky W.

“Becky provided excellent care for our two pups. We were very grateful that she was available to house-sit our dogs which made it so much easier and less stressful for us and our dogs. I know that they were well taken care of. I highly recommend her!”

Donovan B.

“We really felt at ease with Donavon taking care of out pets. The house was left clean and the mail was brought in. It really made coming home a lot easier. I will def use him again. Thank you!”

About: I've lived with dogs most of my life, and been helping my parents take care of then the whole time. Since age 19 I've been their official go to sitter when they needed one, and my grandma had reached out a few times too. I love and adore dogs of all sizes, and can handle most of their personalities! I'd be happy to dot on your dog or dogs ✨ Pet care is a normal part of my daily life. I currently reside with my parents so I not only am the primary care provider to my two cats, but consistently help them care for our 3 dogs of verrying sizes. I help feed them, give them water, let them out, and take them on walks when my parents are busy. Pet sitting in the future is a good place to go with me and I love this is so cute and the best thing to do I currently only work a day or two at Walgreens through the week, and only have one college class early Monday and Wednesday mornings leaving me ample time to assist you in caring for your fluffy family. Be it going on walks or home visits, I can be the support you need in life to keep up with the pack!

Patricia M.
“Patricia has 2 Chihuahua whom she loves very much and it’s extremely obvious that they love her! I have never heard her be loud, nor angry with them, she disciplines them with love and kindness. Obviously, she is an animal lover, and takes extreme care of her babies, I live next-door and see her and her Chihuahuas daily. I would trust her with any of my pets!”

Becca K.

“Becca was great with our two dogs! She followed their routine perfectly and gave our older dog all his pills. We will definitely be working with her again!”

About: I have taken care of all sorts of dog breeds from chihuahuas all the way up to Great Danes. We have always had dogs growing up, and have our baby girl Aura who is 1 year old on July 10th. Your fury family member will be under supervision the entire time! I am a disabled veteran, who stays at home. My girlfriend is a college student finishing up her degree in teaching, but is home constantly. We often go on walks with our girl Aura and if you’re okay with it, also take trips to the dog park usually 3 times a week. So if you’re visit lines up with one of those days and you’re okay with your dog going, we can take him/her! We do not have a fenced in yard, but many leashes to take your dog out. A wide open basement that our little one loves to go run and play in filled with toys. We also play upstairs. Personally we have a shock collar controlled by us for the yard, so if you have one as well and your dog prefers being off leash, let us know and we can use the shock collar!
