I work a full time job, but I do have the ability to work from home when needed and a flexible lunch break. I am mostly free between 7:00-8:30 AM or 6:00-9:00 PM M-F, but I am also available during lunch hours (11:00AM-2:00PM) and weekends upon request.

It is important to me that I get to know both you and your pet! I want everyone to feel safe and sound during appointments. For first-time customers: I am available for phone or video calls prior to the booking date, as well as in person meet and greets (when scheduled in advance). Afterwards, we can discuss communication preferences during visits and, if requesting regular care, what days/times you would like to book in the future.

IMPORTANT: BOARDING ONLY AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS OF THE PRAIRIE LUXURY APARTMENTS AT THIS TIME. I request that basic personality and care instructions be provided ahead of time when possible, to ensure your pet is more comfortable. For boarding and daycare: Dogs must be house trained and spayed/neutered. Since I do have a dog of my own, your dog must also be friendly with other dogs (for dog sitting services). I also own a crate if your pet needs to be crated when staying with me, so you don’t need to bring one of your own. If I am visiting your pet for walks or check-ins: I will ensure your animal is provided food and/or water before leaving. Any other requests/instructions must be provided ahead of time for review.
A typical day
IMPORTANT: BOARDING ONLY AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS OF THE PRAIRIE LUXURY APARTMENTS AT THIS TIME. For walks and check-ins: I will make sure your pet is provided food and water before leaving. Any other requests can be made prior to your appointment. For boarding and daycare: I live in an apartment complex that is wonderful with pets. Dogs will be on a leash when outside, but we do have a fenced in dog park for off-leash time. For all appointments, I am open to providing treats and/or food upon request. For an additional charge, I can also provide bathing for your pup by taking them to a local dog washing location. Toys, bedding, and other care items are not provided unless notified in advance. NOTE: Special requests may increase pricing, and we will discuss this prior to booking so all parties are aware ahead of time.

I have lived my whole life with dogs and I am currently a Dog Mom of 1. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes, including a summer job at a local dog + owner fitness facility and volunteering at stray rescue in STL. My pet is also a rescue, so I have experience working with dogs who need a little extra care and comfort. My main focus is to show your pet some extra love while they are patiently waiting for you to return, and to help you as a dog parent feel at peace, knowing your dog is being well taken care of.

Jordyn is one of the most caring and attentive people I have ever seen around animals. She helped care for our elderly dog during a difficult stage of his life when he struggled with dementia and other medical issues. She was consistently calm, patient, and affectionate with him, even on challenging days. It was obvious how much he trusted her and how safe he felt in her care. What stands out most about Jordyn is her ability to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs. She is incredibly patient with her own dog, who can be anxious and cautious around unfamiliar people and situations. Rather than forcing him outside of his comfort zone, she works thoughtfully and compassionately to help him adjust and feel secure. Jordyn genuinely loves animals, and it shows in the way she interacts with them. I would trust her completely to provide safe, responsible, and loving care for any pet.
Jordyn has a natural gift when it comes to caring for animals. She spent a great deal of time with our elderly dog, who had dementia and several health concerns, and she was always incredibly patient, gentle, and loving with him. He trusted her completely and was genuinely comfortable around her, which was something he did not extend to many people. She also shows remarkable understanding and patience with her own dog, who can be very skittish and routine-oriented. Jordyn adapts calmly to his needs, never loses patience, and always finds thoughtful ways to help him feel secure in new social situations with people and other animals. She is one of the most compassionate, attentive animal lovers I know, and I truly believe she would provide safe, loving, and dependable care for any pet entrusted to her.
