I have had dogs in my home since I was born (44 years). My wife and I have had dogs of our own for the 18+ years we have been married. We have raised pure-breds and rescues and one of ours even works with my wife at a counseling office. We have always had more than one pet in our house at any time and I love to watch them interact just as much as interacting with them. Around 8 years ago, we added our cat into the mix and she has become a loved member of the family.

Schedule
I currently teach middle school, so I am home relatively early in the afternoon and then have plenty of time to feed and play with the pets. My wife doesn't work on Mondays and Fridays and weekends get added in to have plenty of fun.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a good-sized fenced yard that allows for dogs to run. We also have two very friendly dogs that love to find new friends to play with. One is a 25 lb puggle and the other is a 10 lb chihuahua-dachsund mix. We also have a neighborhood lake and lighted streets that are great for walks.
