“Ashley was wonderful! We left our dog with her for a weekend trip. Ashley was great at providing frequent updates with pictures. We knew that our dog was in good hands and could tell she enjoyed her time with Ashley and her dogs! We look forward to knowing that next time we leave her with Ashley, she will be in good hands!”

“Jessica was wonderful! Mollie loves other dogs so she had a blast playing with Jessica’s two dogs and other dogs that came to visit. It was such a relief not having to worry if she was being well cared for. I would use Jessica again!”

“Jennine and Berry are incredibly responsible and caring sitters. Our dog Cookie stayed with them for 9 days while my husband and I were out of town, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care they provided. Jennine sent us photos every day, carefully read and followed all our instructions, and kept in close communication with us. Cookie can be quite picky with his food, but Jennine was patient and managed to get him to eat every day. We highly recommend them and will definitely have Cookie stay with them again.”

“Elisa and her family took the best care of Baxter and I would highly recommend them to watch your puppies. We were nervous as we don't usually leave Baxter but Elisa ( and family & Norman) provided loving care. She sent updates and pictures, which we loved! The sweetest part of Baxter's stay was her sons drew pictures for Baxter! I can positively say, Baxter was a loved puppy! Thank you Elisa, Family, and Norman!”

About: I have lived my whole life with dogs and I am currently a Dog Mom of 1. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes, including a summer job at a local dog + owner fitness facility and volunteering at stray rescue in STL. My pet is also a rescue, so I have experience working with dogs who need a little extra care and comfort. My main focus is to show your pet some extra love while they are patiently waiting for you to return, and to help you as a dog parent feel at peace, knowing your dog is being well taken care of. I work a full time job, but I do have the ability to work from home when needed and a flexible lunch break. I am mostly free between 7:00-8:30 AM or 6:00-9:00 PM M-F, but I am also available during lunch hours (11:00AM-2:00PM) and weekends upon request. It is important to me that I get to know both you and your pet! I want everyone to feel safe and sound during appointments. For first-time customers: I am available for phone or video calls prior to the booking date, as well as in person meet and greets (when scheduled in advance). Afterwards, we can discuss communication preferences during visits and, if requesting regular care, what days/times you would like to book in the future.
“Carolina was amazing. She was quick to reply, sent updates and pictures and when we came to get him, Bingo jumped on us then went over and jumped up on her. Tail wagging. I knew she cared well for him and appreciate her and her son who played with him. We wouldn't hesitate for a second to use her services again!”

“Kelly was so great with our puppy Luna. We needed care within a short notice for a long weekend and Kelly was perfect. She took Luna to a dog park, took her on walks and spent lots of time with her. She was patient with her new puppy energy and we would definitely use Kelly again. Luna was sad to leave 😊”

About: Hi! I’m Alizée, a stay-at-home mom in St. Peters offering loving, personalized in-home dog care in a calm and safe family setting. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day, which means your dog will receive plenty of attention, companionship, supervised playtime, and regular potty breaks—no long hours alone. At the very maximum and on special occasions, I may be gone a maximum of 2h a day. I share my home with two sweet senior female Chihuahuas, so caring for dogs is already part of my daily life. Their gentle presence helps create a calm, dog-friendly environment, and I’m very attentive to comfort, routines, and each dog’s individual needs. I also bring a healthcare background to my pet care: I worked for 6 years as a nursing assistant and phlebotomist, which means I’m comfortable and experienced with special care needs, including oral medications, injections/shots, and close monitoring for senior or medically sensitive pets. What your dog will enjoy here: 🐾 A safe fenced yard for outdoor play and potty breaks - no chemicals are used in our yard and we remove dog's waste every other day. 🌳 Daily walks and outings near our local park 🏡 A cozy home environment—never a kennel 📸 Daily photo and video updates ❤️ Plenty of affection, supervision, and personalized care I intentionally keep the number of dogs I host to one at the time (or multiple from the same family) so every guest gets the attention they deserve and feels safe and comfortable. I’m happy to care for small to medium dogs, including puppies who aren't fully potty trained yet, adults, and seniors, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet before the first stay to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. Make sure your puppy is comfortable with other small dogs, and children. I’d love to welcome your pup into our home! Feel free to ask me any questions, I love what I do and I want my clients to know their puppy will be safe and properly cared for at my house. I am a stay at home mom, so I am available all day to care for your fur baby. Rarely away more than 2h at the time, your pup will have all the attention and playtime he needs. Our family wakes up early the morning, before 6.30am so if your puppy sleeps in a kennel, he will be out of it at sunrise. If the weather permits, we go for daily walks at the park and/or in the neighborhood. I adapt my days to your animal. So if your puppy needs more or less walk, more or less yard play, or any specific care, this is not a problem. My clients usually come with their feeding instructions and a feeding schedule for their puppy, and I will be applying all the rules they see fit for their animal. I like to keep your animal on the same routine as at your house to allow less stress on them. I have a fenced yard, two elderly female chihuahuas and a child at home. Dogs are never left unattended in the yard, I am always with them. I can easily crate your puppy if needed and I am familiar with the app FI that some of my clients already use. As a healthcare professional for several years, I am comfortable caring for older or sick animals. I provide daily pictures and videos to ease your stress while you are away. We do not use any chemicals in our yard and a very limited amount inside the house. Most of our space is cleaned using steam water. We also allow our own pets on the furnitures and your pup will receive the same privilege if this is in accordance with your own rules. We practice separate feeding time/station and separate sleeping area from our own dogs. Our house is equipped with cameras, inside and outside, allowing me to always have an eye on our animal if needed. During walks I do not allow contact with other dogs, and we stay on paved trails (no wooden areas or swamps) or neighborhood sidewalks. Unless it is an emergency, I do not take the liberty to transport my client's dog in the car. *exception will be made if you ask me to do so*
“Ursula is wonderful! She’s super communicative and paid so much attention to what our dogs needed to feel comfortable in her home with her sweet dog. We are so grateful she took such great care of Polly and Benji!”

“Lindsay is my far the best rover sitter I’ve had. She and her daughters kept Jackson well taken care of and entertained during his stay, gave him doggy puzzles, and even took him for treats and shopping. She sent lots of updates and pictures of his adventures throughout the day, which we really appreciated. We could tell that Jackson really likes her and her family, and enjoyed his stay with them, so much so that he was a little sad to leave them and come home. We would definitely book Lindsay again, and would recommend her to others. Your pet will be loved and spoiled.”

“Thanks to Barbara and Steve we were able to enjoy our vacation. They loved and cared for our fur babies in their lovely home. Good communication, they sent us photos and videos We will be using them again, Thank you so much”

“Zadee did an awesome job boarding our 7-month old pup. It was our first time boarding and we needed help pretty last minute- Zadee put us at ease, was responsive and very patient with us as we were in scramble mode. She sent pics and kept us well informed. Would definitely request Zadee again and recommend!”

Brianna was amazing with my girl! She provided excellent communication throughout the entire stay and sent photos two or three times a day, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that my girl was well cared for and loved while I was away. I highly recommend Brianna to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive to watch their pet!

6 stars if we could!!! We had a great experience leaving Rory, our 13-month-old Goldendoodle, with Saranya for 11 days while we were out of the country. She sent us multiple updates, pictures, and videos every day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Rory was clearly treated like part of the family. Her house is a great setup for dogs, and her Australian Shepherd, Milo, was wonderful with Rory. They got along great, and it made the whole stay even better. We would definitely recommend her and will absolutely use her again.

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
