In January 24' I rescued a dog with stage 3 kidney disease, Cookie. Vet said she had six months. She was with us a year and a half. I think her doggie companions and constant love enabled her to be with us longer that expected. We currently have three rescue dogs now, Siena, Mary Jane & Bleu. Can't imagine our lives without them. Since I retired 4 years ago I started a little handyman business but I'd like to scale back on that and get back to walking dogs at the shelter. My schedule is very flexible.
