“Debbie was very kind and made me feel comfortable leaving my baby with her. She sent me plenty of pics and texts letting me know how well my pup was doing, which made me feel at ease while on vacation. I won’t hesistate to book her again on our next trip!”

“Kirsten was fantastic with our Sophie! I loved getting pictures and knowing that Sophie was doing well. It gave me peace of mind while on our trip! I would absolutely use Kirsten again!”
“We picked up a very happy girl. Finda obviously enjoyed the stay and was spoiled as we could see on the pics and videos shared with us. Thank you for taking care in such a good way!!!”

“Brianna and her family were so awesome with our dog, Emmy. This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Emmy had lots of play time, pets, and snuggles. She even came home with her own bag of home made doggie treats! I will book Brianna for future stays.”

“Katie is AMAZING!! This was the first time Guinness stayed with someone he didn’t know. She sent me pictures of him all weekend with updates on how he was doing, which really put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my weekend away!!”

“Yingfei was wonderful with our two dogs. She met them ahead of time and asked great questions about what kind of care they needed. Both of my dogs take medication and Yingfei was willing to administer this. She sent pictures and videos daily and gave great updates. My dogs ate and slept well at her home and returned home happy. I had a great experience with Yingfei and will definitely use her again.”

“Kirsten and her family took such great care of our fur baby. I don’t even think my pup wanted to leave her house. I definitely recommend her to watch your fur babies.”

“Our Pup loved his time with Dawn! She was very proficient in keeping us up to date with photos. And she was also very flexible on timing for pick up and drop off! Thank you Dawn!”

“Bharat was awesome!!! This was the first time we used his services and we could not have been happier. His house is clean, his attitude towards the dogs is one of love and he takes great care!!!! He communicates well with pictures and videos of our dog and we are grateful to him for all the hard work he puts in to the care of a pet. The dogs get good exercise in his backyard and he walks them along a trail. We are very happy and have already booked him again!!!!”

“Molly is so great! She took excellent care of our lab and sent us pictures & notes throughout her stay. It was great to see & hear how she was doing. Violet came home from her stay healthy and ready to play - back to her normal self in no time. We will definitely use Molly again in the future.”

“I don’t want to leave this review because then everyone will want to bring their babies to Barb and Steve and their availability will go down, because they are awesome! We have two dogs, they come with lots of meds and instructions. I also have one that temperamental and can snap at people and dogs, in addition, the other one that is struggling with eating and taking pills. They really took care of them like I take care of them. They spoiled them, loved them and took care of them as if they were their own. They worked with all their issues and sent pictures so I could see they’re loved while we’re away. There are no words to express how stress free your trips away from home can feel knowing your babies are getting taken care of properly and loved while you have to be away. Truly amazing people for the babies and what all sitters should be like.”

“Rachel and her family are amazing! So warm and friendly that I instantly connected with them and so did my male Maltese Mickey! Mickey is treated as a member of our family so when I look for a dog sitter, I want it to be a ‘ home away from home’ experience. I am so grateful to have found this with Rachel. Mickey has stayed with them twice already and we are sure to book again in the near future. I trust that Mickey is well taken care of and appreciate the picture updates I receive. Thanks So Much, Rachel!”

“This was our first time booking with Debbie, which meant my anxiety was high leaving Gerti with yet another new sitter. I had nothing to worry about though because Debbie was wonderful with the photos and updates she sent me while we were away. And by the end of Gerti's stay, it looked like she had really warmed up to Debbie.”

About: I have lived my whole life with dogs and I am currently a Dog Mom of 1. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes, including a summer job at a local dog + owner fitness facility and volunteering at stray rescue in STL. My pet is also a rescue, so I have experience working with dogs who need a little extra care and comfort. My main focus is to show your pet some extra love while they are patiently waiting for you to return, and to help you as a dog parent feel at peace, knowing your dog is being well taken care of. I work a full time job, but I do have the ability to work from home when needed and a flexible lunch break. I am mostly free between 7:00-8:30 AM or 6:00-9:00 PM M-F, but I am also available during lunch hours (11:00AM-2:00PM) and weekends upon request. It is important to me that I get to know both you and your pet! I want everyone to feel safe and sound during appointments. For first-time customers: I am available for phone or video calls prior to the booking date, as well as in person meet and greets (when scheduled in advance). Afterwards, we can discuss communication preferences during visits and, if requesting regular care, what days/times you would like to book in the future.

“Christine was so amazing with my puppy Zelda, she took wonderful care of her and gave plenty of updates with pictures the whole time we were gone. Would definitely book again with her in the future!”

“Alicia and her family welcomed our dog with open arms. She sent us regular updates with pictures and videos. Cora enjoyed her stay and we are so grateful for a place for her to go when we need to leave town!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Saint Louis
We had a wonderful experience leaving our dog with Yingfei. She had great communication and was very easy to schedule with. She sent regular updates and took extra good care of our dog over the 4th of July and during a heatwave. We felt very reassured knowing our fur baby was being cared for so well. We would definitely book with her again!

This was our first time leaving Gerti with a non-family member and using Rover. Dawn was very responsive with the initial request and willingness to have a Meet & Greet. We left Gerti with Dawn for about 16 days and Dawn was GREAT with Gerti. Dawn kept us updated with texts and pictures. We would definitely book with Dawn again!!

Kim did a fantastic job taking great care of our dog Lucy! It was clear when we met Kim that providing great care for Lucy was important to her and Lucy came home very happy. Kim provided lots of pictures and regular updates over Lucy‘s three day stay, which I appreciated so much. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing that Lucy was being well cared for!

Hannah was very sweet and accommodating! She went above and beyond to take care of my dog and I couldn't be happier with the service she provided. She kept me updated throughout the stay with photos and updates, which put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter - she is the best!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
