About: I cared for my own two cats for over 5 years (they’ve since passed), and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve lived with dogs, thanks to dog-loving roommates and family, and I’ve dog-sat for friends on and off for many years. I’m an expert cuddler, feeder, walker, and all-around caretaker. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers a calm, cozy environment, I’ll treat them like family. I’m especially great with affectionate dogs and seniors who need a little extra care and patience. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while you’re away! (Additional note: I'm happy to board larger dogs, as long as they're older and super mellow. As a short woman, I just want to make sure I can stay in control on walks, and because I have small kids at home, I’m mindful about having dogs who won’t jump up or accidentally knock them over.) I’m home all day, and with the kids at school from 8:30–5:30, your pup will have plenty of time to relax, play, and enjoy lots of love and attention! Doggy Daycare: Happy to host your dog during the day with plenty of cuddles, company, and walks. Overnight Stays: I also offer overnight care for calm, easygoing dogs who are comfortable around young kids (we have a 2 and 5 year old). In my home, your dog will be treated like family! They’re free to roam the house, lounge on the furniture, and cuddle up with us. We have a large, almost fully fenced yard with plenty of space to explore and play (while we keep a close eye during outside time just in case). We also have great walking paths nearby for daily strolls. Whether it’s playtime, nap time, or cuddle time, your pup will get lots of attention and love throughout the day.

About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

About: Your dog will be well loved, I will play with your dog walk run cuddle whatever it takes to keep your dog happy and healthy and loved. I have two boxers at home I'm not afraid of energy. Compassionate and understanding to all your and your dogs needs and wants. Trustworthy and will always keep your dog secure and your home. I follow orders very well you if you have a certain way and commands younlike to use I will use them if you are in the middle of training I will do my very best to help out as much as I can. I am all about being there for you and your furbaby they are our children and deserve the best care at all times.

“We could tell Malawi had an amazing time! After the first day, he pretty much ran up the stairs - didn’t even turn around to say Goodbye to us. After we picked him up on his last day, he just laid around sighing to himself. He missed his new friends so much.”

“Junjie is an amazing dog sitter! From the moment we met, it was clear that they truly love and understand dogs. They took excellent care of my doggie, providing plenty of attention, care, and updates while I was away. It was so reassuring to receive photos and messages showing how happy and well-cared-for my pup was. My doggo also seemed genuinely happy and comfortable when I returned— a true sign of great care. Junjie was professional, reliable, and went above and beyond. Thank you!”

“Michelle was awesome! She sent lots of photo updates, and kept us posted about Charlie’s activities throughout the day- walks, bathroom breaks, etc. He had a great time playing with her dog and was always nice and tired coming home at the end of the day after getting good play and exercise. We’d tooootally recommend her and will definitely be trying to book her in the future!”

About: Hi! I've had dogs and cats since I was about 6, and currently am a dedicated cat parent to Judy (barn cat/tiger), Pig (orange gentleman), and Frankie (possibly an alien). I was a dog walker and cat-sitter for a close friend and enjoyed the experience so much that I signed up for Rover! I fostered dogs and cats for about 6 years for various non-profits and the Seattle Humane Society before adopting my cats. I'm familiar taking care of all sizes and breeds, and animals with behavior or medical needs. Please let me know any questions you may have about me or my experience! My schedule is open and I can take same-day appointments. I have a fully fenced in grass yard for your dog to run around 🌱 I’m also happy to work with your budget, feel free to ask. I am respectful of any guidelines you may have for pet care in your home or out in the community. I value being entrusted with your pet, and will prioritize their safety and well-being. I also use Rover for cat-sitting so I know how important it is to feel like you can trust the person taking care of your animal family.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. Growing up I had 3 dogs that all overlapped each other. I’ve been fostering dogs when we can and helping friends and family take care of their pets ! I don’t currently have a dog because my wife and I travel for work typically. I am currently recovering from surgery which means I cannot work my normal job. I am trying to get out of the house and walk dogs while recovering We have a very pet friendly home with a park near by and a crate. We also have lots of doors in the house to keep our foster dogs (when we have them) in the main living room area of our home.

Growlerz - Columbia CityLocal facility
“It’s so easy to write a glowing review for Growlerz Daycare. First it’s my dog’s favorite home away from home. I drop him off and he never looks back. The space is clean, well maintained with a staff that is friendly and experienced with many long-term team members. Most days you will also find one or both of the owners working to be sure your dog has a fun and safe experience. It’s more than just a daycare; it’s an awesome community for both pets and their humans.”

Malvika A.
“can’t recommend Malvika enough! My dog was going through an anxious period and needed a lot of extra care — frequent walks, reassurance, and patience. Malvika was incredibly attentive and hands-on the entire time. She didn’t just take care of the basics — she truly showed up for my dog emotionally, which made all the difference. Thanks to her calm presence and consistent support, my pup was able to get through a tough stretch feeling safe and loved. I’m so grateful for her!”

Joshua P.
“Josh is a dear friend of mine and has been a loving dog dad to his own sweet & smart pup. He did an impressive job training on basic obedience and recall, and he helped me train my own dog Archie (now 3yo) especially when he was a puppy. Josh is Archie's favorite man in the world!! Archie gets so excited to see Josh, he can barely contain himself🤣 Josh has taken care of Archie many times when I'm working a long day, taking a trip out of state, or even when he just wants a hiking companion on a sunny day. He's so caring with Archie, and conscientious w/meal/med/activity needs & schedules. Josh has also helped me through some challenging pet emergencies & vet visits with my dog and in the past when I had a kitty. He's calm & supportive in a pet emergency, and provides great care & love to pups in his life. Highly recommended Josh to anyone looking for someone to care for their furry friends 🦮🐾”

Lydia S.
“Hello, Lydia would be an amazing dog walker. She has compassion and genuinely cares for all animals and nature. When her cat passed away she was devastated until she met my boxer. After good times with him she fell in love with my boy and eventually got a boxer of her own. Having never had a dog of her own before she was always and still very attentive to his needs. She now cares for both dogs and loves them very much. She would treat anyone's furry family member as her own with love, care and respect.”

Brooke S.Star Sitter
“Brooke has been walking and taking care of my dog, Nena (and now new kitten, Ozzie) for about 1 year and she is the best! Nena has special needs as she is reactive when she is on leash but Brooke handles her flawlessly! Brooke has been 100% reliable, punctual and always sends me cute pictures. Along with Nena’s leash reactivity, my pets are my children, so I am very picky about who takes care of them would. I have had a few outstanding pet sitters so the bar was high when I began my search for a new sitter but I would like to highly, highly recommend Brooke for any of your pet sitting needs!”
