About: I've been a dog lover ever since my family adopted our first dog when I was a toddler. After college, I adopted two silly labs who lived to 18 and 14 years old. Then I had two rescued Boston Terriers who have passed. Now I have a silly little guy named Peanut. In 2014, I began fostering dogs and have continued to do so with two different rescues. My specialty is with shy and previously mistreated pups. I love to help them get out of their shells and let them enjoy life as a dog! I will not have a foster dog while watching your pup! I am patient, experienced with all types of personalities, my dogs become great buddies with dogs I'm watching, and we're as active as your dog needs us to be! My dogs usually get two walks a day and so much cuddle time! They aren't afraid to share me. I'm the person who you see waving at dogs in public. I can't help myself. I'm looking forward to becoming a friend to your dog! I am currently not working and Toby works from home. The only time we're not home is when we're running errands. So, we're pretty available to dote on your pup! Our home: It's small, but dog friendly. Our yard is on the small side but your dog will get plenty of exercise on a leash. We have a dog door that leads to a safe pen so your dog can decide if they want outside time or not. Our home is quiet. It's me and my husband, Toby, and we have his teenager part-time. We're all patient dog lovers and love to snuggle. Your dog will be a part of the family and will be allowed on furniture and beds. We have experience with crated and not crated dogs and will follow any training that you currently have in place. I work from home. The only time I'm not home is when I'm running errands or out with friends. So, I'm pretty available to dote on your pup and to give you lots of updates! Our home: It's small, but dog friendly. Our yard is on the small side but your dog will get plenty of exercise on a leash. We have a dog door (25 lb dogs only) that leads to a safe enclosed pen so your dog can decide if they want outside time or not. My home is quiet. It's just me. I'm a patient dog lover and love to snuggle. Your dog will be part of the family and will be allowed on furniture and beds. I prefer to crate your dog when I'm away and will follow any training that you currently have in place.

About: When your pups are with me, tail wags are guaranteed. I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes, from a little Shih Tzu to an energetic German Shepherd. With a lifetime of experience raising dogs, babysitting my “dog nieces and nephews,” and handling everything from playful puppies to dogs needing medication— I’m here to make sure your pup is happy and loved. As a dog mom, I know how important it is to trust your sitter. That’s why I’ll keep you updated with lots of pictures and pup dates, so you can relax while your fur baby has the best time. I also live with my partner, who’s always happy to lend a hand if needed. Between the two of us and our stash of toys, your pup will have plenty of playtime and attention! At home, our 2.5-year-old Bernese mix is crate-trained, loves to play, and enjoys making new friends. Whether your dog needs cuddles, fun, or someone reliable to care for them like their own family, we’ve got you covered. Feel free to message me with any questions—I’d love to chat about how I can make your pup’s stay special! I am currently getting my masters degree with most of my classes being online. I work part-time from home as well, so I will be home pretty much all day with the pups. Please let me know about your dogs schedule so I can keep up with their routine. I currently walk my dog 3x a day and feed him 3x a day as well.

“Laurence is fantastic! She took good care of Zoie, kept me updated and sent me a lot of pics. I feel comfortable leaving my pup under her care. I highly recommend her and will definitely reach out to her again!”

About: Hey! I’m a West Seattle resident and an employee of one of Seattle’s most impactful nonprofits. I’m one of those people who, if I had a big house, would become a Doolittle. My TikTok’s tell all. I have worked at Seattle Meowtropolitan, worked with Dog’s Day Out, and have supported training and socialization of numerous Seattle fur babies. I bring passion and tenderness to my work, knowing that I am taking care of a valuable member of your family. In so doing, I train dogs (and cats) with patience and love. This has earned me the moniker “Dog Whisperer” among my friends. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions or concerns. Happy to meet in person first or chat back and forth. Happy Howloweeen, all! 🐺 I work a FT job M-F with some flexibility. I work from home on Fridays. I am engaged and active when I return, playing with and training each pet in my care just as I would my own. I am attentive to concerns and instructions. I will trend towards overly communicative unless I sense (and confirm) that it is too much. I am incredibly patient thanks to being a teacher for so many years. I love seeing pets learn and they seem to love it to. After all, everything is a game if you make it fun!

About: I am a trustworthy, happy, healthy professional currently taking a break from corporate America. Happy to share my LinkedIn profile with potential customers. I fostered seven dogs before and during the pandemic, and have been dog sitting for about 20 years for friends. I did quite a bit of behavior work with the foster dogs, although I am not a trainer. I have worked with leash reactive dogs - note: if your dog is reactive, I will use a prong collar. This is the first time in my professional life that I have taken any time off. My schedule is wide open at present. I am doing this while I figure out what’s next! No cats/no kids/no smoking/drugs. I love to walk and would love to have company! I am also happy to host your dog during the day at my home in West Seattle. I have a small fenced yard, and our neighborhood has lots of green spaces for walks. As mentioned above, I just love to walk and walk several miles every day regardless! Dog friendly open-plan townhouse with hardwood floors, pics in the gallery.

12. Daisy P.
“I usually don’t ever leave reviews, but when it comes to my baby Enzo, I really needed to ensure that he was in great hands while I was on vacation for 2 weeks and Daisy was amazing with him! I was super nervous to use Rover to dog sit as I’ve only used for dog walking once or twice before and I don’t like to leave my dog with strangers. However, Daisy helped calm my nerves! We did a meet and greet at first to see how Enzo did with her and he instantly loved her and her dog! They got along so well. During the trip she sent me lots of photos each day and videos too- I didn’t even have to even ask her. It’s hard to leave your dog with someone you don’t know very well, but Daisy is so good with dogs and took really good care of my baby Enzo so that’s all I could ask for and more. If you’re looking for a dog sitter or dog walker definitely recommend Daisy. She’ll now be the first I call to walk Enzo whenever I’m in a pinch! Ha and for any future vacays.”

20. Jennie S.
“Jennie was one of my fur baby (Berkley's) best friends. Berkley was always over the moon excited to see Jennie (and her partner James). Jennie provided loving care for her several times over the years when we traveled - from a few days at a time, up to two weeks. I truly believe that she loved Berks as if she were her own. I witnessed Jennie's love for other pups (and kitties) throughout the years as well. She always had a dog in her home, whether just a neighbor visiting or a foster pup. She is a true animal lover. While in Jennie's care, Berkley was walked frequently, played many games of fetch, and got lots of snuggles. Jennie always took care to understand her unique needs (such as walking to the other side of the road when other dogs approached as Berkley could get intimidated and appear aggressive). I loved getting pictures of their adventures and it always warmed my heart to know how bonded the two of them were. If you are looking for someone to give your pets the love and care that they deserve while you are away -- I recommend Jennie, whole heartedly!”
